Chapter 178: Concern

The extra who had made the move also felt that she had used too much force. She regretted it as soon as she pulled, fearing that Jiang Se would turn against her and scold her on the spot.

But before she could let go, Jiang Se fell back under her force.

In the camera, her face was pale, and she looked like she was in pain but trying to endure it. Her cheeks turned red and she sat down on the ground. She was still struggling to get up.

In this part, she performed better than Lin Xiwen had imagined. Her legs were shaking in the camera, and the processed mud on the ground was filled with water, which splashed all over her and soaked her costume.

"You're not going? You're invited to go on a good day! Get in the car."

Jiang Se didn't call for a stop, so the two extras felt relieved. They pushed and pulled Jiang Se to stand up. Lin Xiwen was very satisfied and called for a stop.

Mo Anqi hurried forward to help Jiang Se up, while holding the thermos cup to feed her water.

There was still mud on her hands, so she stopped Mo Anqi from trying to wipe her hands with a wet towel:

“We will continue filming later.”

Lin Xiwen was still watching the film he had taken earlier. Jiang Se took two sips of water and trotted over to see his performance.

In fact, she had practiced this part at home many times, but most of the time she practiced it alone and then filmed it, and then adjusted her performance afterward if there was anything wrong.

After filming started, with the cooperation of others, things got much better.

Perhaps it was because of the cold weather and thin costume, and the mud, her body was shaking and her face was pale. This unintentional reaction to the environment further enhanced the character's personality.

Although the two extras had already given a lot of effort because of her previous words, they were still suppressed by her. Her performance in the camera attracted all of Lin Xiwen's attention.

"Sese, I didn't expect that your acting skills have improved so much in such a short time."

Lin Xiwen watched it once and was satisfied. Jiang Se saw the hesitant and frightened Douku in the camera, and tried his best to show bravery. "Thanks to Teacher Chang for his guidance all the time."

After a short break, we started shooting the next scene.

No matter how hard 'Doukou' struggled, he was still pushed onto the carriage.

There were already several women in the carriage, including the heroine Fan Zhiyun. Compared with the other extras in the carriage who had uneasy faces, she was trying to remain calm.

The crew had sufficient funds, so Lin Xiwen rented a horse early on, and a special horse driver led the horse and pulled the cart around the camera track that had been drawn long ago.

The camera was facing the inside of the car. Hongdou clenched her hands into fists, pursed her lips, and looked outside the car from time to time. She was so nervous that her body was shaking.

When Doukou was pushed into the car, the car shook violently, and Hongdou fell against the wall of the car, but she gritted her teeth and sat firmly.

Both of them performed very well in this part and passed it in just three takes.

Doukou sat up. She looked very embarrassed. Mud and water splashed all over her. Her hands and face were all wet. Her hair was dripping with water. She pulled the person next to her and asked:

"Who are they? Where are they taking us?" She spoke hastily and uncomfortably, her eyes widened, her nostrils trembling, and her tightly pursed lips showed reluctance and stubbornness.

Perhaps it was because she had practiced too many times, and every scene had been firmly memorized in Jiang Se's mind. Another possibility was that she really liked Hou Xiling's work and put her heart into it, so she easily got into the role.

At this moment, Jiang Se felt like she was a "cardamom". The person she pulled in hand followed the arrangement in the script, lowered his head without saying a word.

This silence made Doukou feel uneasy. She asked again without giving up:

"Where are we going?"

"Stop making noise!"

Someone outside shouted at her, and she turned around as if to go out, but was pushed back roughly. If this happened two or three times, Hongdou could no longer sit still and reached out to help her:

"It's no use."

Hou Xiling's writing of this part was brilliant, but Lin Xiwen's move to spend money to film this scene intact was even more brilliant.

The camera fell on Fan Zhiyun. She continued to support Jiang Se and pursed her lips:

"This world has gone crazy..."

Her voice was still shaking.

The next part belongs to Fan Zhiyun. Jiang Se spent most of the time lying in the carriage. The whole day passed quickly. When the crew finished work and returned to the hotel at night, Jiang Se had already caught a cold.

While Mo Anqi was boiling water in the hotel's kettle, she took out the cold medicine she had prepared long ago. Jiang Se went into the bathroom, changed his clothes and prepared to take a shower. Only then did he feel pain all over his body.

She didn't feel anything when filming during the day, but now that she took off her clothes, she realized that her wrists and arms were almost all covered with scratches, and there were fingerprints on her waist, not to mention her legs, which were inevitably bumped when she stumbled.

The environment on the set was simple, and she had only roughly wiped her hands and face before coming back. Now, when the hot water was flushed, the mud and water on her hair kept flowing down.

Coming out of the bathroom with her facial mask on, Mo Anqi noticed a large purple patch on her calf. She was stunned for a moment and quickly turned over to look for medicine.

Before leaving the capital, I was lucky to have prepared a lot of common medicines. The heating in the hotel was turned on very well. Jiang Se took the cold medicine first, and then Mo Anqi said:

"Sese, Pei Yi called me just now. You were taking a shower at that time."

Jiang Se rubbed his nose, sat on the sofa and picked up the mobile phone next to him.

It showed several missed calls and messages, all from Pei Yi.

She dialed Pei Yi's number, and the call was picked up after just one ring:

"Thunder."

His voice sounded a little hoarse through the phone, as if he had just drunk some wine, with a slightly mellow voice, different from the clear voice of a teenager in the past.

The heating in the hotel was turned on very high. She leaned on the sofa, her whole body aching, and she felt lazy and didn't want to move at all.

"Sese, did the filming go smoothly today?"

He lowered his voice, and his tone was soft when he mentioned her name.

"Not bad." She tilted her head. Mo Anqi was wiping her dripping hair with a towel. Pei Yi keenly heard that something was wrong with her voice. She explained:

"The weather here is quite special, and today's scene is not in the city, so my nose might be a little uncomfortable. I have returned to the hotel and taken a shower. Anqi is wiping my hair now."

It was rare for her to speak so long. Pei Yi held the phone in his hand, feeling that he could never get enough of her voice.

Maybe he was used to seeing her every day when he returned home, but when she left the capital to film in other places these two days, Pei Yi felt a little uncomfortable.

Several times when he returned home, the first thing he did when he opened the door was to look around, hoping to find her, but every time he was disappointed, he remembered that she had gone to the southwest with the crew. (To be continued)
