For several days, I stayed alone in the apartment except when I went downstairs to eat.
I did not slack off in the apartment, but systematically studied the Yin-Yang Soul Crossing Notes again. It can be said that now I have a good idea of many of the contents in the notes, as well as the methods of exorcising ghosts and monsters.
I also tried to use a brush dipped in cinnabar to draw some advanced talismans on yellow paper.
At first, I found it very difficult to draw high-level talismans.
However, after repeated practice and studying the diagrams in the notes, I successfully drew an invisibility talisman on the afternoon of the next day.
Seeing the golden light flashing on the talisman and the runes connecting together, I felt very happy.
In addition, I read the yellow booklet that Zhang Chu, the lame man, gave me from beginning to end. When I closed the booklet, I had a completely new understanding of the art of raising and controlling corpses.
I didn't expect that it would take so many materials to refine a post-natal zombie.
Moreover, some of the materials are not even mentioned in the Yin-Yang Soul Crossing Notes.
It can be seen how talented Zhang Chu is in refining corpses.
Although I already understand the art of corpse refining, I still cannot accept that kind of thing.
Even if creating a zombie can help me do some things, it will still damage my good karma.
So, when it comes to corpse refining, I just have an idea in my mind, but I don't actually do it.
If I only know the art of refining and raising corpses, I respect the art of controlling corpses. It sounds like there is no need for the art of controlling corpses. But since I encountered the Taoist Yang Chen, I have become interested in controlling zombies.
Just imagine, if I had mastered the art of controlling corpses, I wouldn't have had to spend so much effort to destroy the zombies in the small temple. The art of controlling corpses focuses on "control". Using some unique techniques in the yellow book, you can achieve the purpose of controlling corpses.
When you have nothing to do, grow some flowers and drink some tea. Life is so beautiful.
During this time, I also circulated the energy of Yin De, which stimulated the "Yin Yang Diagram" in the palm of my right hand.
There are two small dots on my right hand, one black and one white, representing yin and yang.
When I gathered the Yin De Energy from the veins in my body and flowed into my right hand, black and white lights were instantly stimulated to form a circular Yin-Yang diagram.
The "S"-shaped line in the middle of the Yin-Yang diagram and the surrounding circles turned golden and kept flowing and alternating.
The light circle formed by the Yin-Yang diagram contains runes, which will release a very strong Yin-Yang force. It can attack and defend!
The Yin-Yang diagram gives me a very comfortable feeling when it is running. It may be because I have a pure Yang constitution, so the Yin-Yang diagram can still be maintained for three or two minutes after it is turned on.
That's my limit.
Good deeds are limited. I calculated that if I were to use the Yin-Yang diagram, I could only use it about three times a day. If I did it more than that, my body would not be able to bear it.
It's strange to say that Yin De can form Yin De Qi. But for Taoists, if we don't do things that destroy Yin De, it won't be lost, but will only accumulate.
For example, after getting rid of the Taoist Yang Chen, a lot of Yin De Qi descended upon us. Maybe because there were more Taoists in the small temple at the beginning, the feeling was not so obvious.
But whether you can feel it or not, as long as you do good deeds, the hidden virtue will naturally bless you.
This is true for us Taoists and ordinary people as well.
Therefore, people should do more good deeds.
At night, the door of the apartment was still knocked by ghosts as usual, but I ignored them.
Although some ghosts may need the help of "Jiang Jiuzhen", I am really a little tired these days.
So I didn't take it into consideration. There is a difference between pretending to be someone else and being yourself.
It knocks on its door, I sleep on mine, and slowly I get used to it. One day when I feel good, it won't be too late for me to take action. After all, people live in the world to make a living, and it's impossible for me to take jobs every day and run from one house to another.
If that were the case, I'd probably be exhausted.
Moreover, people can easily feel mentally fatigued when dealing with ghosts frequently.
The ghost market opened on the second night. I took a bus there and exchanged most of the ghost pills I had, making nearly two million.
Is this my reward for this period of time? Actually, it’s not that easy to make money!
On the third day, after I had breakfast at a breakfast restaurant downstairs, I returned to the apartment and practiced the Seven Star Steps and the peach wood sword attack method.
I have almost mastered the Seven Star Steps, but there are still many flaws.
The Yin-Yang Soul Crossing Notes said that to maximize the Seven Star Steps, one needs to understand the Five Elements, and each step must be in accordance with Yin and Yang. I haven't achieved this yet. If I could, I'd probably be a master with profound Taoism.
Although I have twenty years of extra virtue, or spiritual practice, it is not mine after all. Even if it can play a role in me, I still need to absorb it slowly and integrate it into myself thoroughly.
As for the attacking methods of the peach wood sword, I also learned some of them. The content is very similar to the use of the weapon "sword" in martial arts.
The swordsmanship of peach wood sword generally includes four attacking methods, namely striking, stabbing, blocking and washing.
Striking means using the front end of the peach wood sword blade (called the three-point sword) to shake the wrist briefly and exert force like striking a bell. It can be tapped up and down, similar to the modern point sword and collapse sword. It can be struck diagonally or horizontally. Among them, the tip of the sword hitting the side of the little finger is called "positive strike", such as downward, left-handed hitting the head, hitting the wrist, etc.; the tip of the sword hitting the side of the thumb is called "counterattack", such as hitting the ear, buckling the wrist, etc.
Stab means to use the tip of the sword to strike any part of the opponent's body along the direction of the sword by flexing and extending the arm. When the sword is horizontal, it is called flat stabbing, and when the sword is vertical, it is called standing stabbing. Combining the direction of the stabbing sword with the footwork and body movements, there are forward stabbing, backward stabbing, independent stabbing, jumping stabbing, flying stabbing, changing hands stabbing, turning stabbing, and continuous stabbing.
Ge means to block or intercept. Use the tip of the sword or the front of the blade to block the opponent's attacking weapon. In modern times, it is often called "Tiaojian" or "Guanjian". Hanging on the left is called "Shunge", and hanging on the right is called "Nige". Lifting upward is called "Chongtiange". Lifting on the left is called "Zuoge", and lifting on the right is called "Youge" or "Fange".
Washing includes horizontal washing, oblique washing, upward washing and downward washing. In the sword attack of peach wood sword, the "washing" method has been replaced by sword techniques such as lifting, dragging, pulling, intercepting, chopping and sweeping.
After all, the time is short, although the notes on the use of the peach wood sword are introduced very thoroughly. But the time is still short, so I only learned the "strike" in the attack method.
I don't know if it's because I don't have the talent or I'm not using it properly. Even when I was using the "strike" method, I was copying it and it seemed a little off.
But no matter what, I really learned a lot.
I believe that if I use the peach wood sword to deal with ghosts now, my methods will not be as simple as before.
Just as I was sweating profusely while practicing the attack method of the peach wood sword, my cell phone on the coffee table vibrated.
After wiping my face and hands with the towel on the chair, I answered the phone.
It was Master Jiang who called.
As soon as the call was connected, Master Jiang's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Hey, Brother Yang, how have you been these days?"
I smiled and replied: "I'm fine. I'm well fed, warmly dressed, and sleep well! But I haven't seen you for a few days, and I miss you a little bit!"
I'm joking.
Master Jiang chuckled twice and said, "I called you to tell you that I have dealt with the matter of Chen Yousong's corpse last time.
He's been cremated! His son didn't come to claim his ashes. Didn't you say you would help that old ghost bury his ashes together with his deceased wife? So I called you to let you know."
Chen Yousong was the old Buddhist ghost who had crawled into his own corpse and was wandering around that night at the city crematorium.
I got the "Pearl of Buddha's Light" from Lao Gui, and I also promised to help Lao Gui be buried together with the body of his wife.
That’s true. There have been a lot of things going on recently. If Master Jiang hadn’t reminded me of this, I would have probably forgotten about it.
"Okay, since the body has been cremated, I will go to the crematorium."
Then Master Jiang and I chatted for a while on the phone.
When Master Chu and others were mentioned, Master Jiang said that Master Chu and others were looking for me everywhere because of the "Life-Extending Pearl" matter, but Master Jiang did not tell them my address.
Master Jiang also said that those old guys asked him to pass on a message, saying that if I was willing, they would exchange their most precious things for my life-extending bead.
Of course I refused. Nothing is more important than living a long life.
Afterwards, Master Jiang and I made an agreement that I would go to his place at noon to collect Chen Yousong's ashes.
Anyway, I have some time these days, so I'll just take care of this little thing first. After all, I promised them.
Look at the time, it’s already past nine o’clock in the morning.
After tidying up the house and taking a shower, I prepared to leave.
Before leaving, I put away the Yin-Yang Soul Crossing Notes and the Yellow Booklet and placed them in the bottom compartment of the closet. These two books are good things and must not be discovered or stolen.
The Drunken Dream Flower had not been nourished by Yin Yuan Qi for a few days. I poured some Yin Yuan Qi from the Soul Collection Bucket for the Drunken Dream Flower to absorb. The Drunken Dream Flower immediately shook its head, like an "animal". It can be seen that the spirituality of that thing is very strong.
After packing everything that needed to be packed, I walked out of the apartment.
When I went downstairs, a Beijing Hyundai sedan slowly stopped next to the unit door.
The car looked brand new and I had never seen it in the community.
While I was wondering, Ma Qiang and He Man got out of the car.
He Man wore sunglasses on her face, a lace hat on her head, and a flowery dress that made her look very beautiful.
What surprised me the most was that Ma Qiang really lived up to the saying "big gold chain and small watch". His clothes gave me the feeling that he was a wealthy man. Even his short-sleeved shirt was a foreign brand, which probably cost several thousand yuan.
It seems that this guy Ma Qiang probably spent all the "compensation money" that Boss Zhao gave him.
Seeing me coming downstairs, Ma Qiang came up to me with a smile and asked, "Brother Yang, where are you going?"
I curled my lips and said in a deep voice: "I'm going out to do something!"
Ma Qiang looked at the cloth bag on my body and seemed to understand something. He hurried over and stretched out his hand and said, "Come on, Brother Yang, let me help you carry the bag! You are a Taoist priest now, let me do this little thing."
Ma Qiang's expression was very attentive.
"No need! I can do it myself."
I looked at Ma Qiang suspiciously.
Ma Qiang saw me staring at him, so he said with a smile: "Brother Yang, He Man and I went to Hainan for a few days, but I didn't just go there to have fun. During the whole trip, I was thinking about things the whole time. After thinking it over, I still think I can make money by following you. So, I want to follow you."
"As for that Taoist priest's five disadvantages and three shortcomings you told me about before, I, Ma Qiang, really don't believe it! ... ... Besides, with you here, I have someone to protect me. When the time comes, we will make a fortune together. You eat the meat, and I just need to drink some soup!"
Ma Qiang's eyes were full of anticipation as he looked at me.
