Chapter 72: Extra chapter A couple's cup

Views:

On October 3rd, it was finally the full year that Wen Jialuo had mentioned.

On this day last year, Wen Baohua married Xia Bang. Wen Jialuo heard Xu Shiqi's voice, and Xu Shiqi saw Wen Jialuo's back.

Although it was vacation, neither of them went anywhere.

We stayed in our own homes every night, and had to make an appointment if we wanted to meet. It felt like life was unbearable after a while.

Wen Jialuo took advantage of her father's return and acted like a spoiled child until her mother couldn't stand it anymore. Only then did her father reluctantly nod after enjoying his daughter's intimacy.

If you want to live outside, you can just buy a house.

The situation in Xu Shiqi's family was already somewhat strained. When she tried to carefully express her desire to move out, her mother looked at her for a long time before asking how to buy a house.

If the other party was a man, then as a mother, she would not be afraid of falling into clichés and would definitely ask the other party to prepare a new house. But they were both girls, and Wang Yuan really felt that she had to make too many psychological preparations. Sometimes she felt very discouraged when she thought about it. She might as well send her daughter away and let her live her life as she wanted. After all, she chose her own path, and being a mother or a father had nothing to do with it.

But when this thought really comes to mind, my heart starts to hurt again.

"You can buy a house," Xu Zhongda said again while smoking a cigarette, "but the money will be split equally between us, and both of our names will be on the property deed."

It sounds a bit too rational and sober. Xu Shiqi thought that no one seemed to be optimistic about their future, so they had to maintain this relationship. She seldom ate fast food, which was not to Wen Jialuo's taste. In fact, they always had a very consistent view of love. Love is love, and love should last until old age. Life is long, and there may be many things to encounter, but love needs to be managed and the supply and demand of nutrition, and they have been working hard.

And October 3rd arrived just in time for house buying.

Although they had not found a house yet, the two of them secretly rented a house to live in temporarily under everyone's noses.

The house is new and fully furnished.

The agreement with the family was that we would live outside during the weekdays and the weekends would belong to the family. We would eat one meal at a time and move out one seat at a time. It was just a matter of going back to the neighboring city. Besides, living back home on weekends didn't mean we couldn't see each other, so they agreed.

Maybe living too close to your family means you lose some freedom, but if you are too far away, you may lose more, which doesn’t mean it is a good thing.

The day we moved in happened to be on this anniversary holiday. I mopped the floor, cleaned the windows, played some nice music, and made a pot of tea. It was hard work but worth it.

Then, they started from toothbrushes and towels, and continued to bedding. This time they did not deliberately avoid couple sets, but went out to buy things for this temporary residence wholeheartedly.

In a boutique, they saw a pair of handmade ceramic cups with large handles and wide mouths, which were full in their hands. The paintings on the cups were not special, with only two hearts leaning against each other, and although they were somewhat anthropomorphic, the content could still be considered rustic. However, the cups looked very substantial. If they were placed on the small bar in front of their windowsill, and the sunset was reflected on them at dusk, the slightly closed eyes of the two hearts would seem to be quietly recalling a story.

Even if they are not used for drinking water, they can be used as handicrafts for display. Wen Jialuo and Xu Shiqi grumbled for a while and then bought them back.

The pair of cups were never used for drinking water. Instead, they were placed on the antique display shelf in the new home. The cups represented a lifetime, and the two hearts were very close and had never been separated.
