Flirt [Interstellar]

Chapter 25: XXV

The scene that Li Xingzhou couldn't get over was not complicated, and there wasn't even much emotional transition.

Not long after the war broke out, the hero returned from the front line. The male supporting role was really depressed and begged him to take him out of the courtyard for a walk.

"Father said there was chaos outside, but I didn't notice much. I finally ran into you coming back, but if you are not willing to take me out for a walk, then there is really no point at all."

The male supporting role is somewhat naive. When Li Xingzhou is unable to show the purity and agility that was protected in his youth, this innocence turns into stupidity and willfulness. If it weren't for the role, Chen Qiaoxu would have wanted to kick Li Xingzhou who was bossing him around.

Li Xingzhou recited the line again, his patience was exhausted, but he couldn't show his displeasure to Fred directly, so he just gave his assistant a look and asked her to find an excuse later.

He couldn't read any more, and Fred couldn't listen any more either, so he asked a staff member beside him to call Lin Yi over.

There was no filming in the afternoon, so Lin Yi had already taken off her makeup and changed into her own clothes. "Director, what's going on?"

After watching them reshoot a one-minute scene over and over for nearly an hour, Lin Yi knew what Fred was mad about. But even though he knew, he still had to go through the process of asking.

"Act out that scene for me," Fred said, and asked someone to tell Lin Yi the lines.

Lin Yi had memorized all those few words after hearing them so many times. He stepped forward to replace Li Xingzhou and smiled at Chen Qiaoxu: "Happy cooperation."

Chen Qiaoxu smiled back at him, and the two of them stood still, waiting for the staff over there to give instructions.

"start."

"My father said there was a lot of chaos outside, but I didn't notice much." Unlike Li Xingzhou who said this as a complaint, Lin Yi raised his eyes and looked into Chen Qiaoxu's eyes, his tone a little depressed and his face a little confused.

There was no dragging expression, and his voice was clear regardless of how high or low it was. As soon as he opened his mouth, he pulled Chen Qiaoxu directly into the play.

Lin Yi held Chen Qiaoxu's arm, raised his head slightly, and asked him expectantly, "Can you take me out for a look? I finally meet you back, if you don't want to, then there's really no point at all."

Chen Qiaoxu felt somewhat distressed and helpless, and a smile appeared unconsciously on his face.

Seeing this, Lin Yi's eyes immediately curved, with a silent feeling of satisfaction that his wish had been fulfilled.

Fred felt relieved after watching this short clip. He turned to Li Xingzhou and asked, "Do you see the difference between this and what you did just now?"

One is a dandy guy who makes people want to whip him, and the other is a young master who makes people feel sorry for him.

Li Xingzhou couldn't think of anything more humiliating than asking Lin Yi to be his teacher in front of him. If he was asked to personally admit that Lin Yi was better than him, how could Li Xingzhou refuse

He frowned and stiffened his neck: "I don't see any difference."

If Li Xingzhou himself was not very popular in Empire, and the role was clearly written in the contract and officially announced, Fred would have simply swapped the roles of Lin Yi and Fred.

A staff member nearby saw the situation and was afraid that things would get out of hand, so he stepped forward and said a few nice words. He also asked everyone to take a ten-minute break and then come back to continue filming. Only then did the situation become less awkward.

Lin Yi and Chen Qiaoxu also went to the rest area. Chen Qiaoxu sighed, "If we had followed the original cast list, we wouldn't have to go through so much trouble now."

The initial cast he mentioned was referring to the time when Lin Yi first played the second male lead.

Lin Yi smiled and said, "That's not necessarily the case."

When they arrived at the rest area, Lin Yi did not go inside. Chen Qiaoxu took a half-step on the steps and looked back at Lin Yi in surprise: "Do you have somewhere to go?"

Lin Yi nodded: "Anyway, the rest has little to do with me, so I'll go first and see if I can take a look around the barren planet."

Chen Qiaoxu said, "After I finish filming the main scenes, I should have one or two days of free time, but I don't know if I can apply for a permit. I heard that the First Legion has strict control over civilians. But before leaving for the deserted planet, I listened to a song called "Dawn". I heard that it was created with the battle of the First Legion as the background. I listened to this song when I read the script, which helped me get into the role. The mechas that appear in the film of that song are probably all here. I have to go and see them with my own eyes if I get a chance."

When Lin Yi heard the word "Dawn", the smile on his face deepened.

Chen Qiaoxu was idle, and seeing Lin Yi smile, he thought he was interested, so he said a few more words: "That song is really good. If you haven't heard it, I will send it to you via my personal terminal later. I also sent it to Fred last night, and he liked it very much. He said that if he could contact the original author, he would like to discuss cooperation. Unfortunately, the identity of the original author is still a mystery so far."

Lin Yi said: "It won't remain a mystery forever. Maybe when we return to the capital planet, the author's identity will be revealed."

As he spoke, he glanced at the time on his personal terminal, turned his toes outward, and waved to Chen Qiaoxu: "I'm leaving first."

"Well, bye."

Lin Yi walked out of the filming area where the crew was, and outside was a whole wasteland. It only took less than ten minutes to fly from here to the military cafeteria, but the actual distance was almost the same as flying from Beijing to New York on Earth, with thousands of mountains and rivers in between.

He raised his hand and was about to use his personal terminal to send a message to Song Qinshuang, asking him if it would be convenient for him to have someone pick him up to take him to the training base. Just then he received a message from Song Qinshuang saying that he was on the way. Then, two mecha vehicles appeared in front of him from a distance.

Two ordinary soldiers got off the mecha, trotted up to Lin Yi, and asked him politely if he wanted to go anywhere and if he could get in their car.

"Fuck mine."

"Fuck mine."

The two soldiers refused to give in and looked like they were competing with each other.

Although they did have a destination, anyone would probably feel uneasy if they were stopped by two strange alphas and asked to get in a car.

"Sorry, who are you?" Lin Yi asked cautiously.

"Ah," the two soldiers realized that they were a little reckless and introduced themselves quickly, "General Li asked me to come."

"I am General Zhang."

Lin Yi still looked at them with some confusion.

The two soldiers probably weren't willing to do such flattering things, and they looked a little embarrassed at this moment, but they had to do it because they had military orders.

One of the soldiers said to Lin Yi in an embarrassed tone, "General Li wants to ask, I heard there are new dishes tonight, what exactly is it?"

"General Zhang just wants to ask if you would like to go to the military cafeteria tonight, and if he can sit at the same table with you then."

In the final analysis, it’s all about eating.

Lin Yi felt that after he returned to the capital planet, if he casually talked about this kind of gossip, these generals who were usually known for their seriousness would be on the entertainment headlines for a day.

Before the two soldiers got any accurate answers, a small aircraft appeared in the air.

Song Qinsong saw this scene outside from mid-air and knew what the two men were going to do. So as soon as he jumped off the aircraft, he immediately frowned and asked, "What are you doing? Have you completed the training mission?"

When the two soldiers saw him, they immediately became as obedient as quails. They dared not snatch the person from Song Qinsong and ran away immediately.

Song Qinsong did not ask about the cause and effect. After seeing the two soldiers leave, he immediately said to Lin Yi: "You didn't promise them anything, did you? If you did, give me a portion anyway."

"Why don't you ask what the matter is first?" Lin Yi was amused. He followed Song Qinsong onto the aircraft. When he got on, he noticed that this was the same aircraft he had ridden in the morning. It was Qin Nuo's aircraft.

"What else could it be? Food." Song Qinsong said, "The canteens of several other ordinary soldiers also prepared braised pork and buns at noon today. The consumption of nutrient solution has been reduced by more than half. Now the soldiers of the entire First Legion are waiting for dinner."

Song Qinsong looked at Lin Yi with a look that indicated he had a long way to go, which gave Lin Yi goosebumps.

"You will have a lot of responsibilities in the future," Song Qinsong said, "Now it's not just the people in the military cafeteria who are pointing their fingers at you, but the people in the entire First Corps are pointing their fingers at you, and they are all wondering what other dishes you can come up with."

Lin Yi thought about the number of soldiers in the First Legion, and even though he was calm, he felt a lot more pressure.

"Just don't mention me." Lin Yi said.

He didn't expect to become famous for his food skills. After all, all the recipes he provided were not researched by him. They were just his eating experiences in his previous life.

"We don't intend to over-promote you. The military cannot engage in personality cult, but we have no other choice," Song Qinsong shrugged. "The authority of the cafeteria is in the hands of D-Type No. 1. I believe that if there were no certain restrictions when it was designed, it would have built a temple for you by now."

This topic was too stressful, so Lin Yi simply changed the subject and asked, "Why are you flying the Marshal's aircraft?"

Song Qinsong smiled when he heard this. "I was just training with the Marshal at the training base. I was planning to ask my subordinates to pick you up, but you saw it. If I didn't come over in person, I might not have been able to get you. The Marshal's aircraft model is the newest and fastest, so I applied to him."

At this point, Song Qinsong looked at Lin Yi with some scrutiny and inquiry: "You...what did you say to the marshal when you were with him this morning?"

Lin Yi asked back: "What do you think we can say?"

"I don't think you can say anything," Song Qinsong was familiar with Qin Nuo's personality. He definitely wouldn't talk much to a stranger he just met, especially an omega.

Not only is there nothing to say, it is more likely that there is nothing to say.

He looked at Lin Yi, and seeing that he had no unusual expression, he swallowed his doubts, but he still felt strange in his heart.

Qin Nuo's aircraft is a high-end customized version. It is a special version of the Mecha Research Institute that can only be obtained by those with money and face. There is no other like it in the entire universe.

Song Qinsong didn't know how many times he had envied her, and how many times he had asked Qin Nuo to borrow her to satisfy his craving, but every time he was directly rejected by Qin Nuo without exception. Only this time, when he said that he had to pick up Lin Yi, which was not an excuse at all, Qin Nuo just looked at him for a while and actually agreed.

"In the morning, you and the marshal were in the same aircraft. You weren't scared by him, were you?" Song Qinsong asked Lin Yi again.

"He is just an ordinary man, why should I be scared of him?" Lin Yi said.

As soon as he finished speaking, Song Qinsong was frightened by him.

It was the first time in his life that he heard someone describe Qin Nuo as "an ordinary man." He immediately understood what made Lin Yi so awesome.
