Global Fog Survival

Chapter 14: The situation took a sharp turn

Views:

The sound appeared very abruptly.

Colin was squatting at this time, facing the statue in front and his back to the gate. The moment the sound appeared, his whole body tensed up.

He could sense that a malicious individual was behind him.

The two subordinates' faces were visibly pale.

They seemed to want to say something, but were stopped by Colin's eyes to avoid any other accidents.

After a brief hesitation, Colin half turned around and looked behind him, and saw that a little girl had appeared on the carpet which was supposed to be empty.

A little girl who is as delicate as a doll.

The little girl's figure seemed somewhat illusory and transparent. She was wearing a white dress, her hair was pale, and her face was expressionless.

She stood at the edge of the candlelight, tilted her head, and stared at herself with her distinct black and white eyes.

The scene was quiet for a while.

"Big brother, are you looking for me?"

After a brief silence, the little girl spoke again in that ethereal, distorted, and childish voice.

"Big brother, I think you woke up the other kids..."

"I saw you chop them into pieces one by one..."

"I was very scared and kept hiding..."

"Brother, we haven't hurt anyone, we just want to survive, we are just waiting for someone to save us..."

"Paper, clothes, pieces of cloth, mice, cats, birds, hair, blood, meat... We ate everything we could eat and struggled to survive..."

"The priest said he will bring people back to rescue us soon, and everyone is waiting hard..."

"I can feel that the priest is coming back soon, and everyone is going to be saved... Why..."

"Brother, we tried so hard to stay alive, why... do you want to kill us?"

The little girl asked questions over and over again, as if she was judging Colin's "crimes", her voice full of pain and coldness.

Moreover, with every word she spoke, the aura emanating from her became more and more terrifying.

Her pair of distinct black and white eyes also changed little by little, from inky black to blood-red.

She walked towards them step by step, emitting an irresistible and unyielding pressure!

"I'm scared..."

The little girl stopped in front of Colin, raised her face, and bright red tears overflowed from her eyes. They flowed across her slightly raised cheeks and dripped onto her chest, staining her white clothes red.

At this moment, she seemed to recall the pain of the past. Her delicate face was distorted and a tangible aura of pain emanated from her body.

"Little boy, it's me who should be afraid!"

Colin's scalp exploded as he watched the little girl slowly float over and walk into the light, but his body seemed to be frozen, unable to move or speak.

Otherwise, he would definitely try to communicate and explain to her that things are not what you think...

Like Colin, the servants behind him were also motionless. Colin didn't know what their condition was, but he estimated it to be similar to his.

Otherwise, given the servants' character, they would definitely rush forward and stand in front.

Feeling the increasingly violent aura in those red eyes, Colin's heart beat faster and faster, and uncontrollable fear was evident on his face.
