After this happened, he was no longer in the mood for a dinner party. He dismissed all the officials, got up and left the restaurant, and came to a door on the second floor.

The rooms around this room were uninhabited, and the maids and butlers never came near. In the entire corridor, there was only the slowly swaying candlelight, reflecting the weathered stone walls. The silence was eerie.

There was no immediate response from the door. After a while, the door suddenly creaked open a crack, and a dry, hoarse female voice came from the room: "It's the Lord City Lord. Please come in."

Hearing this voice, Viscount Connor couldn't help but feel a chill in his soul. After calming himself down, he pushed open the door and walked in.

The room was covered with thick curtains, and not a single light came in from outside. There was only a magic pattern lamp hanging on the wall, illuminating a small area against the wall.

There was a long stone table with many translucent glassware on it. There was also a crucible on which something was boiling on an alcohol lamp. A strong strange smell was floating in the air.

A woman in a dark purple hooded robe stood in front of the stone table with her back to Viscount Connor. She was weighing something on a small scale. Even when Viscount Connor walked in, she did not stop working and looked quite busy.

The woman was tall but very thin, and her entire body was almost wrapped in a hooded robe. The only part of her arm that was exposed was skinny and pale, and she gave people a very gloomy feeling.

"Miss Judy."

Viscount Connor took two steps and then stopped. He did not try to get close to the woman, and his expression and tone were quite polite. If you look closely, you will find that there is a hint of vigilance in his eyes when he looks at the woman, as if he is afraid of something.

At this time, the woman called "Miss Judy" finally finished her work, wiped her hands, and slowly turned around.

The dark purple hood covered most of her face, revealing only a small section of dry, rough dark red hair and the pale, thin lower half of her face. There was a complex black pattern on her face and neck, one end of which sank into the collar and the other end disappeared into the hood. It was wriggling slightly like a living thing, looking eerie and strange.

These black patterns mark her identity.

She is a witch.

Moreover, she is the most mysterious and evil dark witch among all witches.

"It's rare for Viscount Connor to come here to see me. Is there something going on?"

She flicked out a few sparks and lit the white candle on the iron candlestick on the wall, then raised her hand and invited Viscount Connor to sit down in front of the fireplace.

With the flickering candlelight, the room suddenly became much brighter and no longer looked as gloomy as before.

Viscount Connor sat down on the rattan chair and told the news he had just received, and then explained his purpose: "I suspect that there may be a Level 4 strongman among those remnants of the light, or they may have mastered some powerful weapons. I would like to ask Miss Judy to help me get rid of those remnants of the light."

Witch Judy nodded slightly, her voice dry and hoarse: "Lord City Lord, you helped me find the magic potion 'Li Zhu Hua', I owe you a favor. How about I repay you for your help this time?"
