Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 1: Owl and boy

Views:

At dusk, the setting sun, which was slowly disappearing from the horizon, coated the mansion at No. 6 King's Road, London with a light golden yellow.

This is a classical villa full of British style, spacious, bright and grand.

The three-storey walls are covered with creepers with claws and claws, the roof is covered with beautiful brown tiles, the grass and flower beds in the yard have been neatly trimmed, and a luxurious Bentley car is quietly parked outside the garage.

A beautiful sunset picture, serene and peaceful.

Except that on the balcony on the top floor of the villa, a black-haired boy was staring at an owl. The indescribable weirdness between the two was incompatible with the painting style in front of him.

Evan Mason stared blankly at the owl in front of him, his eyes full of curiosity. Owls are not unusual. They are birds that can be seen in the homes of ordinary residents, especially the opponent's paws are holding a brown envelope made of thick parchment.

Ai Wen had a feeling that the letter was written to himself.

But he wasn't sure how to get it, because the owl seemed to want some reward from himself before handing over the letter.

"Hello!"

Ivan said hello and tried to communicate with the other party, even though it made him look a little silly.

"Gu~~"

The owl hooted softly, tilted its head and looked at the boy, its brown pupils were full of vigilance.

"Don't be nervous, I mean no harm!"

Aiwen tried his best to make his voice gentle, and he slowly stretched out his right hand, "Is the letter under your feet addressed to me? I think..."

Before he finished speaking, he was interrupted by a loud shout from downstairs, "Honey, are you ready? We're leaving!"

Then, there was the sound of someone going upstairs.

"Oops, it's my mother, don't let her see you!"

Aiwen woke up suddenly, ignoring further communication with the owl in front of him, he swung his right hand forward violently, trying to drive it away.

"Goo!" The offended owl hurriedly hid aside.

"Sorry, my mother is allergic to birds, and she is terrified when she sees all kinds of birds, big and small." Ai Wen waved his hand and explained in a hurried tone, "You must get out of here quickly! "

It seemed that Ivan's unreasonable actions finally convinced the owl that the boy in front of him would not give him something to eat. A second later, it flapped its wings, flew up and pecked Ivan fiercely, and threw the letter at his feet.

"Ah oh!"

Ivan yelled in pain, watching the owl fly out of the balcony like a whirlwind and disappear from his eyes.

Ignoring other things, before his mother came in, he lowered his head and picked up the envelope under his feet. It was clearly written in emerald green ink: Bedroom on the third floor, No. 6 King's Road, Little Whinging, Surrey. Accepted by Mr. Wen Mason.

"This letter, and the owl just now..."

Ai Wen narrowed his eyes, and the obviously weird things in front of him gave him a sense of familiarity.

"Aiwen, let's hurry up, your father is already waiting for us in the car." A well-dressed middle-aged woman walked in and said in a slightly serious tone, "It's very important to be late when you visit someone's house for the first time. Disrespectful thing."

"Got it, Mom!"

Ai Wen didn't have time to think about it, and when the other party didn't pay attention, he stuffed the envelope into his trouser pocket.

Their family had a small family gathering tonight, and the other party was his father's business partner. To be precise, his father's construction company was going to purchase a large number of drilling rigs from the other party.

For Aiwen, he didn't have to attend this kind of dinner, but the other party's family happened to have a child who was one year older than him, and he happened to be studying in Smelting Middle School.

Aiwen is already eleven years old this year, and in just over a month, he will enter Smelting Middle School. His parents feel it is necessary to let their children get in touch with future seniors in advance.

"Mom, you haven't told me yet, what's the name of that senior?"

Along the way, Ai Wen felt that he had to do something to divert his attention from the letter in his trouser pocket. Before he clearly knew the content of the letter, he was not sure whether to tell his parents about it.

Maybe it was just a bad joke someone made and there was no need for my mother to worry about it.

"My dear, I told you last week that the child's name is Dudley," Mrs. Mason replied briskly.

"Dudley Dursley, I dare say you will become good friends." Mr. Mason added while driving.

"Dali Dursley, this is really a good name!" Ivan lowered his head and fell into deep thought.

In fact, he did know someone with that name too.

If he remembered correctly, Dudley Dursley should be a character in the "Harry Potter" series that he had seen before he was reborn. In the book, Dudley is a very domineering and pampered child, who brought Harry a miserable childhood.

Ivan was very impressed with this guy, but it was hard to say what impression he had.

But that is a character after all. Although he was reborn in England in the 1980s and 1990s, there is no evidence that this is the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

"Relax, it should just happen to be the same name."

Aiwen tried hard to convince himself, but when he thought of seeing the owl just now, he felt a little uneasy.

Taking advantage of his parents not paying attention, Aiwen secretly took out the letter from his trouser pocket. He quickly turned the envelope over, and saw that on the back of the envelope, there was a wax seal, a coat of arms, and around the capital "H". Circled a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake.

Ai Wen's eyes widened suddenly, his hands were tightly squeezed, and he opened the envelope tremblingly, took out the letter and read:

Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchcraft and Wizardry: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Federation of Magic, President of the Wizarding Association, first-class wizard of the Merlin Sir Order).

Dear Mr. Mason: We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Enclosed is a list of required books and equipment. Semester is scheduled to start on September 1. We will wait for your owl to bring your reply before July 31st. Sincerely Vice Principal (Female) Minerva McGonagall.

Oh my god, this is an admission letter from Hogwarts, he should have thought of it earlier, who else would send a letter with an owl except that magic school.

"Honey, you don't need to be so nervous." Noticing Ivan's abnormality, Mrs. Mason turned around and comforted in a low voice, "I heard from your father that the Dursleys are very friendly, and Dudley is also a polite friend. You will love this new friend, boy."

"Yes, Mom!" Ivan replied subconsciously, "I'm not nervous, but a little excited."

In the past eleven years, he has been preparing for the future according to the familiar real world, but now he suddenly told him that this is a magical world completely unfamiliar to him, isn't this a joke

Fortunately, before Ivan was reborn, he loved Harry Potter very much and was familiar with the contents. Even though he couldn't remember all the plots, he could recall the big events more or less, which made him relax a little. Take a breath.

The question now is how to tell this to my parents.

Also, if he didn't guess wrong, besides Dudley Dursley, he might see the famous Harry Potter soon.

Just when Ivan was struggling, his father stopped the car slowly and said softly, "My dear, we are here, No. 4 Privet Drive!"
