Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 140: Sybil Trelawney

Views:

Just as Ivan, Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid were discussing Azkaban, the door of the hall was opened again.

In came Professor Trelawney, gliding towards us as if on wheels.

She wore a green dress embellished with tinsel, which made her look even more like a shiny oversized dragonfly.

"Good afternoon, everyone!" said Professor Trelawney, in her faintest, most distant voice, "I've been looking at my crystal ball from the tower, and to my surprise I see myself throwing I took a lunch alone to join your dinner. Who am I, how can I refuse the urging of fate? I walked out of my building immediately, and I sincerely ask you to forgive me for being late... .. .”

No one spoke, and everyone looked at her in surprise.

Ivan noticed that Professor McGonagall's mouth was tightly pursed, and his face became even uglier.

Professor Trelawney didn't sit down directly, she turned half a circle around the dining table, bringing invisible pressure to everyone, she stood behind Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ivan for a long time, The big eyes have been looking all over the table.

Suddenly, she let out a low scream!

"What's the matter, Professor?" the first-year student in front of her asked uneasily.

"Dear child, you can't believe it, I saw it..." She only stared at Ivan, with an expression as if he was dead.

"Sit down, Sybil!" Professor McGonagall interrupted her suddenly, "Those owls and howling letters are enough to upset people, no need for you to add extra pressure to everyone!"

"I can't sit down, Minerva!" Professor Trelawney said in a panicked tone, as if she had just noticed Professor McGonagall, "I can't do this, if I sit down there will be thirteen people at the table! There is nothing more unlucky than thirteen! Never forget that if thirteen people eat together, the first person to stand up after the meal will be the first to die!"

"We're willing to take the risk, Sybil," said Professor McGonagall impatiently. "Sit down, for the sake of the Christmas holidays!"

Professor Trelawney hesitated, and then she sat down next to Ivan. Ivan had a bad feeling. He could feel that Professor Trelawney had chosen this position on purpose. She was looking at herself with those big watery eyes, as if she had something to say to herself.

You don't need to guess to know that this is definitely not a good word!

Based on Ivan's understanding of her, what she wants to say to herself must be something ominous and ominous.

Aiwen tried not to look at the other party, and focused completely on the dinner plate in front of him. The situation was troublesome enough that he didn't want to be cursed by Professor Trelawney one more time before his actions tonight.

"Honey... ... "

"Do you want tripe, Sybil?"

Professor McGonagall interrupted her again, and she reached into the nearest tureen with a large spoon.

Professor Trelawney ignored Professor McGonagall, she glanced at Ivan, then raised her head and looked around, and asked softly, "I didn't see my dear principal and Professor Lupine, where are they going?" went?"

"Obviously, everyone knows what happened in the castle last night! They also know where Albus and Lupine are now!" Professor McGonagall raised his eyebrows and said impatiently, "Even if no one told you, you would Surely you know, don't you?"

"Of course I know!" Professor Trelawney gave Professor McGonagall a cold look, "But people don't show off that they know everything. I often behave as if I don't have the third eye. That way people don’t get nervous.”

"That says a lot," said Professor McGonagall tartly. "Your so-called Celestial Eye..."

"If you must know, Minerva!" Professor Trelawney's voice suddenly became less indistinct, "I saw poor Lou in the crystal ball two months ago. Professor Ping's ending, he stood there alone, in that place full of fear and despair."

Apparently, the place she was referring to was Azkaban, the Wizarding Prison.

That place is full of dementors, and only there is fear and despair everywhere. Everyone took a breath when they heard Professor Trelawney's words. This seemed to have foreshadowed the tragic end of Professor Lupine, who would spend the rest of his life in Azkaban.

Except for the sneer still hanging on the corner of Snape's mouth, the expressions of the others became very bad.

Harry stared blankly at Professor Trelawney for a while, and rarely argued with the other party, maybe he didn't think it was worth it.

All semester, Professor Trelawney had been prophesying his death, but nothing happened, Harry was used to it.

Now predicting that Professor Lupine will be imprisoned in Azkaban is simply child's play for her.

Ivan heard Harry and Hermione start whispering with Hagrid about Azkaban again. They asked about the details of Azkaban, trying to imagine the life of Professor Lupine and Sirius Black being imprisoned there , and then the conversation turned to Buckbeak the Hippogriff and Hagrid's post-Christmas lessons.

Ivan turned his head away from looking at Professor Trelawney beside him, listening to Harry and their conversation absently.

Harry and Hermione seemed to be desperately trying to find something to say in order to take their attention away from Ron.

Except for the three of them, no one spoke at the table, and the atmosphere was extremely depressed.

This is definitely the most unpleasant lunch experience Ivan has ever experienced. He ate up the food on the plate as fast as he could, while whispering a few words to Harry and Hermione, restraining himself from looking at the food beside him. Professor Trelawney.

Fortunately, until the end of lunch, Professor Trelawney behaved almost normally.

About ten minutes later, Ron finished his meal and was about to leave the table.

Ivan, Harry, and Hermione looked at each other and hurriedly stood up.

"My God! Four of you, who was the first to leave the seat? Who was it?" Professor Trelawney suddenly screamed loudly.

"I don't know!" said Ron in a low voice.

"I don't think it makes much difference!" said Professor McGonagall indifferently, "unless there's a mad axeman waiting outside the door, intent on chopping the first person out of the hall."

Everyone forced a smile, and Professor Trelawney stopped talking, as if he was greatly offended!

She gave Professor McGonagall a contemptuous look, grabbed a bottle of sherry from the table, and left the auditorium without looking back.

Followed by Ron, Ivan, Harry, and Hermione also hurriedly followed. According to the plan that the three discussed in the school hospital this morning, they decided to talk to Ron first. Try to keep Ron and Peter in the Gryffindor common room while you learn more.
