That night, Maka slept in Xenophilius's workshop.
He used discarded old door panels to build a wooden bed for Maka, with two layers of blankets and a quilt as a mattress on top, and another quilt covering her body. Although this configuration sounds a bit shabby, I actually don’t feel uncomfortable sleeping on it.
This gave Maka a good night's sleep.
Early the next morning, Luna came over to wake him up. To be honest, Maka has been used to a life of going to bed late and getting up late. Now if he wants to change it, he really can't change it at this time.
"Get up quickly, the sun has risen." Luna reached out and tugged on Maka's quilt, but Maka lay unmoved under the quilt.
"The sun has risen!" Seeing that there was no movement under the quilt, Luna tried her best to increase the volume.
"The sun won't rise anymore." Maka muttered in her sleep.
Luna silently stared at Maka, who was curled up in the bed for a while, and then stretched out her hand to tug again - she felt that this was all she could do.
But Maka obviously wouldn't have any reaction to this.
After waiting for a few more minutes, Luna turned around and ran downstairs. She seemed to have thought of some good idea.
After a while, Luna, who had just gone down, ran up again, with a soft basket made of thin rattan in her hand. The rattan basket swayed slightly in Luna's hand, and there seemed to be many small things moving around inside. Apparently, this was the reason why Luna hurried down. The things inside could probably wake up Maka very effectively, at least that's what Luna thought.
The girl blinked, then carefully lifted a corner of the quilt a little, and then quickly poured everything in the soft basket into it.
Seeing the little ones getting into bed, Luna seemed to nod with satisfaction, and specially tucked the quilt away.
After a while, there seemed to be some movement in the quilt, and it sounded like someone humming softly.
"Uh... huh?" Maka seemed to be woken up, but her voice sounded wrong, as if she had a cold, and her voice was very nasal, "Um, ah! What is it? Don't..."
The quilt began to become restless, shaking incessantly, and even the old door panel on the ground that was used as a bed began to shake.
As expected, the hastily built wooden bed was not very strong, and there was only a loud "clang" sound, and the whole house actually trembled along with it. Then, Maka struggled to lift the quilt and groaned in pain.
Of course, the nasal sound is still very strong, and this has not changed because of the accident.
And the little guys who caused all this are all hanging on Maka's body at the moment, especially on the face and neck. They hummed happily, swarming on Maka's face, neck, chest and other places, and some even stuck their soft tongues into Maka's nostrils.
"Uh... ah, sneeze!" Maka shook her head and shook off the little things on her face, and then she saw Miss Luna standing aside, carefully watching this rare scene.
"Puffs," Luna pointed at the furry little things on Maka's body and said as if sleepwalking, "They are very close to people and they will hum when they are happy."
"Also, they are easy to feed. They eat everything from food leftovers to spiders and mosquitoes. They also like to stick their tongues up and get into the noses of sleeping wizards and eat their dried boogers."
Maka quickly pinched his nose when he heard this, because he noticed that there were several little things spitting out their slender tongues and eager to try!
"Okay, okay! This is really an effective living alarm clock, so let's put them away quickly!" Maka pinched her nose and waved it casually with her other hand, then got up from the ground, "Oh, By the way. Good morning, Luna!"
…
Breakfast time passed quickly, or in other words, there was nothing to mention. British food has always been terrible, even in the wizarding world. Not to mention that the Lovegood family's financial situation has not been very good. The magazine's sales have directly resulted in most of its profits being used as funds for the next issue. The Galleons that are actually used for life are simply pitiful. .
After Luna's father hurriedly finished his breakfast, he Apparated and went out to collect materials. Before leaving, he gave Luna a few special instructions, probably asking her to walk around with Maka. Maka, who was smacking her lips and thinking about how to make the Gordig root tea taste better, didn't listen too carefully.
Luna and her father both liked the drink, but Maka found it difficult to accept it. Compared to last night's colorful ball fish soup, which had equally obvious advantages and disadvantages, this Gordig root tea, which also had the flavor of Lovegood's family, obviously only made people feel painful.
"What an impactful drink." Maka sighed, tilted her neck and poured the liquid in the cup down her throat, "Okay, then where are we going to go?"
Luna looked at the position where her father left in trance, and after a while she answered: "I don't know either."
Maka tilted her head and thought for a moment after hearing this, and couldn't help but ask: "Are there any neighbors around here? I mean the wizards."
"Well, the closest is the Fawcett family," Luna turned around and looked out the window. "The further away is the village of St. Catchpole in Ottery. Mr. Weasley and Diggory from the Ministry of Magic All the gentlemen have their homes nearby."
Maka nodded, and when she was thinking about whether to visit other wizards' homes and make a good relationship, she suddenly reacted to the name that passed by among them.
"Weasley?" He raised his head and looked at Luna, "Is it that... a wizarding family with red hair?"
"Not Ms. Molly." Luna shook her head and said in a daze, "Her hair is brown."
Maka couldn't help laughing when she heard this.
"It's really brown." Luna repeated seriously when she saw this.
"Okay, okay," Maka looked at Luna and smiled even louder, "Of course, of course. I mean, how about we go sit at the Weasley house?"
Luna nodded indifferently, as if she didn't care where she was going.
"Bang!"
Not long after, after the two cleaned up the dining table and kitchen together, Maka watched Luna disappear into the somewhat dirty fireplace along with a burst of green flames.
"Well, grab a handful, tell the location, and then scatter it." Maka muttered as he walked towards the fireplace. Suddenly he stopped as if he thought of something.
"By the way, be sure to read it clearly." It seemed that he was probably thinking of Harry's trip to Knockturn Alley.
"The Weasleys." "Bang!"
For some reason, Maka produced much more green flames when she used it than Luna did. Fortunately, this special magic flame reaction does not have the ability to teleport dead objects. Otherwise, judging from the magic fire that surged to the ceiling, it would probably be able to move the entire fireplace to the Weasley house.
Luna was talking to Mrs. Weasley when Maka appeared from the Weasley's fireplace.
"Oh! You must be Maka, right? Miss Lovegood just told me about you." Seeing Maka come out, Mrs. Weasley immediately turned around and said hello, "Welcome to our home. .”
As he spoke, Mrs. Weasley suddenly walked over and opened the window, "Fred, George, Ron! Come in quickly, two guests are coming!"
Maka stretched her neck and took a look when she heard this, and happened to see a big boy with freckles on his face carrying a big rat that was completely hairless, followed by a shorter boy who seemed to be following behind.
"Fred, give Scabbers back to me! Percy gave it to me."
"Hey, Ron, wait a minute! I just think it needs a little hair booster."
"Stop making noise! Don't you see any guests? Can you just be quiet for a while?" Mrs. Weasley immediately shouted, "Where's George?"
Fred spread his hands and said, "Mom, I'm George."
"Okay, so where is Fred?" Mrs. Weasley was stunned.
Suddenly someone pushed the two boys away, then stepped in, and kept saying: "Hey, Mom! I am George, you have mistaken us again."
Mrs. Weasley's expression immediately changed and she started a new round of scolding, while Luna was laughing like a madman and couldn't stop at all.
Maka looked at the scene in front of her and couldn't help but hold her forehead and sighed.
"Sorry, uh... Mr. Maka?" On the other side of the fireplace, not far behind Maka, a weak voice suddenly sounded, "It's always noisy at home."
When Maka heard the voice, she turned around and found that the person speaking was a girl with the same fiery red hair. She looked smaller than the other children.
"Ah, it's nothing, I'm just not used to too lively scenes." He probably guessed that the girl in front of him must be the youngest child of the Weasley family - Ginny.
Maka looked at her, then glanced back at the three boys who were being lectured by Mrs. Weasley, and couldn't help but sigh again. He really couldn't figure out how the same family could educate brothers and sisters with such extreme and diverse personalities.
The eldest son, Bill, always looked like a rocker, Percy was wild and very face-conscious, the twin brothers just liked to play pranks, and even Ron always had a tendency to have low self-esteem.
Only the second son Charlie and the youngest Ginny are more like normal people.
Of course, he wasn't sure whether the memory in his mind was correct. After all, it had been so long that he really couldn't remember it clearly.
"Thanks anyway, thank you for your concern, Miss Ginny."
Ginny looked at Maka's smile and felt a little strange. Has anyone mentioned her to him? At least she hasn't had time to introduce herself yet.
"Okay, okay, why don't you come and meet the guests." Mrs. Weasley finally ended her long scolding and called her children to come over here.
The Burrow became a little quieter, except for Luna who was still laughing, her embarrassing laughter echoing in the room.
