Harry Potter’s Book of Sin

Chapter 506: The pride of a pure-blood wizard

The Knight Bus started and stopped all the way, but the speed was still astonishingly fast. It took less than an hour to zigzag from Wiltshire in the south of England to the village of Hogsmeade in the North.

But when the door of the bus just opened, Neville was seen running out of it, and then he was weakly holding on to a big tree on the side of the road.

"vomit-"

I don’t know what he had eaten for breakfast today. As he lowered his head and vomited happily, a mysterious puddle of yellow-white filth suddenly appeared on the ground.

It’s also no wonder that Hogsmeade Village is located above the snow line of the mountains all year round. These pickled things are extremely conspicuous in the pure white snow. There is even a lingering white mist due to the low temperature. Look. It was quite a steaming scene when we went up there.

Draco, who followed Neville, immediately covered his mouth and nose when he saw it. It was obvious that the strange sight of the snow caused his own stomach to churn.

Recently, a large number of wizards have come to Hogsmeade Village. At this moment, everyone passing by saw this and started to avoid them. Most people were avoiding Neville, but there was a small group of thoughtful ones, and even Draco, who was getting off the car behind them, became their avoidance target.

"Are you worried that I will vomit too?" Draco glanced at them coldly, then ignored Longbottom, turned his head and strode towards the village.

Originally, he was in a pretty good mood watching Longbottom's misfortune all the way in the car, but now he no longer had the feeling to rejoice in his misfortune.

Speaking of which, Hogsmeade is the only village in the UK that is purely composed of wizards. This is quite famous in the entire British wizarding world and even the global wizarding community. Because if foreign wizards want to find a place to stay, apart from the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley, the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade Village are the most popular.

The reason why the Leaky Cauldron is so popular is that there has always been a shadow of the British Ministry of Magic behind the bar, and it is considered a bar with a somewhat official background; and the reputation of the Three Broomsticks comes entirely from its bartender. The all-around beautiful boss—Ms. Rosmerta.

Of course, there may be some wizards who are familiar with the history and secrets of the magical world and will come to visit here because of the founder of Hogsmeade. Because the location of the Three Broomsticks pub seemed to be the old address of Hangis, the founder of Hogsmeade in the distant past.

As far as Draco knew, if his father Lucius came to Hogwarts for business, he would usually choose to stay at the Three Broomsticks. This bar has always been famous for being clean and tidy yet classy. It is a famous bar and hotel where pure-blood families don't mind sitting down.

However, when Draco walked to the door of the Three Broomsticks pub, he knew that his good idea was completely in vain. If nothing else, he knew just by looking at the crowds in the bar that it was impossible to even find a chair on the ground floor of the bar, let alone get a guest room.

Even Draco couldn't help but frown when he thought that he would most likely not be able to find a place to live in all of Hogsmeade. To be honest, although he could just go and stay in the school dormitory, the place he least wants to go to right now is undoubtedly Hogwarts.

Before leaving, Voldemort gave him a task that was not a task, saying that he must appear at Dumbledore's funeral. Even though he couldn't figure out Voldemort's true intention, he never thought it would be a good thing.

"Do you really want to go?"

Draco carried the suitcase full of luggage and looked around.

The main road in Hogsmeade Village was crowded with people at this moment, but he felt an indescribable feeling of loneliness, as if no matter how big the magical world was, he could not find a person who belonged to him. The resting place of Draco Malfoy.

Even though Draco has some signs of growing up now, he is still a big boy after all. At an age when his mind is very sensitive, and he encounters a series of changes in his family, it is inevitable that he will be shaken from his heart at certain times.

Probably because he had been stuck in place for too long, many of the crowds around him glanced at him, as if they felt a little strange about a young man standing on the street in a daze.

These sights made Draco finally come back to his senses. He raised his left hand to smooth his neatly combed golden hair and exhaled softly.

Perhaps in the end he had to go to Hogwarts to watch the ceremony, for the safety of his family and for his own safety. But at least for now, he doesn't want to go so early.

After regaining his composure, Draco took steps again and walked towards the other end of the village with his head held high.

He is Draco Malfoy, the only heir to the Malfoy family. This identity brought him pride, but with it came more responsibilities and obligations.

Although he is not the head of the family yet, now that he is out and about, everything he says and does will represent the name Malfoy. Even though he has a faint tendency to be weak now, no matter how depressed he is, he should still maintain the most basic nobility and self-confidence.

This is the family education he, Draco Malfoy, has received since he was a child.

What Draco was going to now was the old pub on the other side of Hogsmeade - the Hog's Head pub.

He had taken a look there from a distance during the previous Hogsmeade open day. It was dirty, old and unsightly, and it was really not worthy of his status as a Malfoy. But no matter what, he has to find a place with a roof to live, right

In some specific situations, noble pure-blood wizards are not unable to give in.

Not long after, Draco frowned and reluctantly pushed open the wooden door of the Pig's Head Bar. After he walked in sideways, he couldn't help but wave his hand slightly, as if he had touched something dirty.

"Waiter, I want to rent a room!"

"Wait there for a moment!"

As I said before, there are so many people in Hogsmeade recently, like goblins in a wizard's backyard. You can see a large flow of people wherever you go. Even the Pig's Head Bar, which has a very bad environment, is still full of people.

But at least, the number of customers here seems to be much smaller than that of the Three Broomsticks bar.

Draco came to the bar with the intention of giving it a try, passed the customers crowded in front, and shouted into the bar. Although he couldn't see the scene in the bar, he soon heard the response from inside.

"How did I hear... Isn't the waiter at the Pig Head Bar an old man? He is both a waiter and the boss here..." Draco wondered in his heart, "Why is it a female voice?"

After some of the guests who came to the bar to order drinks returned to the peripheral tables, Draco was able to get a glimpse of what was inside the bar.

It didn't matter that he didn't look at it, but this look made his eyes widen immediately, with surprise written all over his face.

"Miss Witte?"

"Hey! Isn't this young Master Malfoy? Why are you free to come here today?"

At this moment, the person standing at the bar with her hands on her hips was none other than the graduate of Hufflepuff College, the beautiful wizard who was famous at Hogwarts in previous years, Charlotte Waite.

Ever since she was taken away from her family by Maka, she has been staying at Hogwarts as a full-time assistant professor. Unexpectedly, during the Christmas holiday, he actually worked as a waiter in this shabby bar!

"Miss Witte...are you working here part-time?" Draco asked strangely.

Speaking of which, Charlotte might just be a beauty among ordinary little wizards, but a child from a big family like Draco knew something about the inside story.

Before enrolling in Hogwarts, his father had warned him many times that he must make friends with some classmates. If a good friendship is really cultivated, it will be a deeper foundation for the Malfoy family.

It's just that those ancient families who are inherited from ancient wizards are not so easy to contact. Although Charlotte is usually carefree and carefree, I have never seen her have a very deep relationship with any of her classmates! This applies to both men and women.

"Yes! Part-time job... you have to earn some living expenses!"

Charlotte still loves to laugh so much, and talks even more casually. But even so, it does not damage her charming temperament as a great beauty, which is really surprising.

"What, Malfoy, do you want a room?" she asked very naturally as Draco pointed upstairs.

"Oh, yes... I need a room," Draco nodded with his chin raised, returning to his usual arrogance, "You know, money is not an issue."

Although he didn't say it clearly, what he wanted to express was very clear. Even if the room in this bar is already full of people, more gold galleons are needed to build one. The Malfoy family is so proud!

However, among the hesitant glances of the surrounding guests, Charlotte at the bar smiled subtly.

Yes, the rooms in the Pig Head Bar have been booked long ago, and all the wizards present know this. Unfortunately, this was the news that Charlotte deliberately released.

In fact, as another territory of the Order of the Phoenix, this place has long refused all guest reservations under Maka's instructions. Especially since Aberforth, the boss, has recently joined the Order of the Phoenix, Charlotte who remains here is just a cover-up character.

As long as this place is still crowded with ordinary wizards, the risk of exposure can be greatly reduced. This is a major escape route for Hogwarts, how could Maka not treat it carefully

But Draco didn't know all this.

"How many gold galleons do you plan to pay? I can help you ask the guests upstairs..." Charlotte glanced at Draco with a smile, a light called "Zhaike" faintly flashing in her eyes, "If it's true If someone is willing to give up their room, it’s not impossible for you to live in it.”
