Maitreya once practiced the two-strength method, using the power of Amitabha Buddha to gather mind and meditation, but after gradually deepening his cultivation, he would know that the Amitabha who helped him gather and meditation was actually himself.

The fear of death, the firm faith and perseverance in practice, enable the concentration of mind. No matter who recites Buddha or who recites, as long as the mind is the same and the mind is rounded, the Buddha is the Buddha. It is precisely because of this that Maitreya gave up the two-strength method afterwards. , Revise the Vajra Mantra.

In order to practice the two-strength method, you need to be proficient in the future, and you need to have the same heart and aspirations with Amitabha, the same merits and virtues, until you are reborn in the Pure Land.

Under the threat of Naraku’s wind cave curse, Maitreya was able to concentrate on chanting Buddha, but his original nature was not in harmony with the pure land, so he turned to Zen and cultivated the Vajra Buddha light. However, the scriptures and curses in the Vajra Sutra are ambiguous, and there is always some use of the Buddha light. Obscure, but now, it has found an application method.
