Chapter 188: Fortunately it's not a Wendigo

"Conductor, you came just in time." Scott rushed over to him, held his arm, pointed at the opposite car and shouted loudly, "Hurry up and call the police, stop the car quickly, there are people killing people over there."

The conductor looked up and saw a man in black in the opposite carriage, covered in blood, slowly walking towards here holding a hammer.

This scene shocked the train conductor. He gritted his teeth, rushed over, took out the key and locked the door of the carriage.

The man in black pulled the door hard, but when he saw that it could not be opened, he smashed the door glass several times with a hammer. However, the glass is strong enough. Even though it was cracked in pieces after being hit, it didn't break.

Seeing that he couldn't open the door, the man in black snorted, turned around and walked back slowly.

The train took a long breath and turned back to Scott and others: "You guys wait here, I'll call the police right away, and then notify the driver to stop at the next stop."

Watching the train conductor leave in a hurry, Smith looked at Wick and Skoff who were unable to sit on the opposite seat, frowned and said: "What's wrong?"

Wick raised his thumb tiredly: "Let me tell you exactly, man, I hit a ghost."

Smith was so excited that he sat up and said in surprise: "What's going on?"

Wick raised his gun: "The guy across from me was shot at least seven times by me, but he was still able to stand up and smash the other guy's head."

The corner of Smith's mouth twitched slightly: "Make sure it's a human, not a monster with teeth and claws."

"Of course they are human beings." Wick was startled: "What do you mean?"

Smith smiled bitterly: "Nonsense, what do you think?"

Scott gasped on the side and said, "It's okay. I've taken pictures of what happened just now. If I call the police this time, I wonder if the police can still pretend they don't know anything."

As he said that, he stretched out his hand to Wick: "Thank you so much, man. My name is Leon Schoff, and I am a freelance photographer."

Wick ignored Scott and turned to look out the window, frowning and saying, "Why is the car speed getting faster and faster?"

"Maybe the conductor should speed up and let the train rush to the next platform."

Scoof closed his mouth suddenly because he saw a brightly lit platform whistling past the window.

"Something's wrong."

Wick stood up and cautiously looked at the door locked by the conductor to make sure that the man in black had not come over. He walked towards the opposite car door again, but after pulling it a few times, he was surprised to find that the door seemed to be locked as well.

The New York subway is still similar to an ordinary green train, with iron doors separating each car. Once the front and rear doors are locked, the car is equivalent to turning into a tin can.

Especially now that the tin can is still driving at high speed in the tunnel. In this state, it is impossible to even break the window and jump out of the car.

"what happened"

Smith shook his head. He drank so much that he was still a little dizzy.

Wick said in a deep voice: "There is something wrong with that train conductor."

Scott trembled: "Where does he want to take us?"

"I don't know, but it's better to be careful."

After hearing what Wick said, Smith finally reacted belatedly, pulled out his pistol, and looked around cautiously.

Scott looked at the guns in the hands of Wick and Smith, then lowered his head and looked at the camera in his own hand, and said twice: "The two eldest brothers, do you still have weapons? Can you support me?"

Wick ignored him at all, while Smith pouted behind Scott: "You can do it with that one."

When Scott looked back, he saw a small window-breaking hammer hanging by the car window.

""

Scott took it and weighed it in his hands.

Well, better than a camera.

The train roared along the tunnel for an unknown length of time when it suddenly braked suddenly. Wick and Smith hurriedly grabbed the seats and handrails. Only Scott was caught off guard and was thrown forward.

If Wick hadn't reached out and pulled him, Scott might have broken his neck.

But the camera hanging around Scott's neck was thrown out and hit the compartment wall hard, turning into countless parts and flying everywhere.

"No"

Scott's eyes almost popped out of his head.

I worked so hard, risked my life to sneak into the midnight train, and almost risked my own life to take the photos, but in the end it was scrapped.

Leaving aside Scott who was kneeling on the ground and frantically collecting camera parts, Wick and Smith hid behind the car and carefully looked out the window.

I saw the train stopped in front of an unfamiliar platform. The entire platform was emitting a strange orange-red light. Garbage was everywhere on the ground, sewage was flowing across the ground, and the corners were covered with spider webs.

It's obvious that this platform has long been abandoned.

"Zip"

The lights in the carriage flickered a few times and suddenly went out. The entire train was plunged into darkness, with only the orange-red light from the platform shining in, dyeing the interior of the carriage a blood-red color.

Then there was a muffled "click" sound, and the closed doors on both sides of the car automatically opened from left to right. What's even weirder is that the thick glass on the car window automatically falls down, revealing the dark window frame.

Wick and Smith exchanged glances, and Smith carefully moved to the car door to see if anyone was coming from other cars. Wick looked out the window, looking for anything suspicious.

Not long after, Wick saw the conductor and the man in black getting off the train at the front and rear respectively. Dragging several corpses in their hands, they strode deeper into the platform.

At the same time, a gloomy wind blew from deep inside the platform, and accompanied by this gloomy wind, there were bursts of eerie roaring sounds.

"What the hell"

Wick stared at the train conductor and the man in black, while Smith walked over with a pale face, gritted his teeth and said: "Damn, we encountered a monster again. Brother, you must have a grenade on you."

Wick looked at Smith as if he were an idiot: "Who carries grenades when they go out every day?"

"Then it's over." Smith smiled bitterly, "Find a way to escape, or write a suicide note quickly."

"Don't you need to be so exaggerated?" Wick frowned and said, "With our skills, we won't be afraid of two hundred special forces."

"But what if the other person is not a human being?"

Hearing Smith's rhetorical question, Wick thought of the man in black who could still stand up after being beaten into a hornet's nest by him, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.

"You saw it just now, those two guys were carrying several corpses each. Do you think normal people have that much power?"

Smith pressed on.

Wick pursed his lips and said seriously: "Do you think it's still too late for us to call the police?"

"It's no use, there's no signal here."

Scott shook his cell phone pitifully.

"Ouch"

The terrifying roars were getting closer and closer, and deep in the platform, in the orange-red light and shadow, an unknown black shadow was vaguely jumping.

Soon, the sound of chewing echoed in the platform, and the three people's faces turned dark. Needless to say, they also knew what those unknown shadows were eating.

"We can't wait any longer, we must withdraw."

Before Wick finished speaking, small red stars lit up in the shadows deep in the platform. Accompanied by snorting and growling, wolf-shaped monsters like calves appeared in front of them.

"Huh, luckily it's not a Wendigo."

For some reason, Smith felt relieved.
