The sunshine in summer always seems to be bright; even a thin cloud passing by cannot block the brilliance of the sun.
The silver-white car was driving on the empty road, with greenery surrounding it from both sides of the windshield, and it was driving at the speed limit as if it was chasing the sun.
Lu Shizhen was looking forward to the date that Xu Shiyue was going to take her to, and couldn't help but ask, "Shiyue, where are you going to take me on a date?"
"Amusement park." Xu Shiyue answered calmly without deliberately keeping the suspense.
These three words sounded very out of place coming from Xu Shiyue's mouth, and it didn't seem like a date location that someone like her would choose.
Lu Shizhen was stunned for a moment, then his face showed a lot of joy that he couldn't hide. He said to Xu Shiyue: "You know, when I was a child, I always wanted to go to the amusement park, but I knew I couldn't go, so I just stopped myself from thinking about it."
Lu Shizhen recalled and shared with Xu Shiyue the secret hidden in his heart.
But Xu Shiyue turned around and looked at her, then said to her, "I know."
Lu Shizhen was totally unprepared for Xu Shiyue's answer, and his face was full of surprise.
She was a little skeptical, but Xu Shiyue repeated before she could ask, "I really know."
A warm summer breeze blew in from the window, making Xu Shiyue's long hair float slightly by her ears.
She slightly turned her head to look straight ahead, splitting her gaze to Lu Shizhen, and asked softly, "You don't think you've been covering it up well, do you?"
"Teacher Sixteen, have you ever heard of the idiom 'the more you try to cover up, the more obvious it becomes'? Every time there's an advertisement or a picture of an amusement park, you either fast forward or pretend to drink water or go to the bathroom. Do you think I can't see it?"
Xu Shiyue gave Lu Shizhen the examples she had observed one by one. These things, which were not very detailed, were explained one by one in Lu Shizhen's ears and connected into something unexpected.
Over the years, Lu Shizhen never thought that his evasive behavior would be so obvious and be seen through at a glance.
It's not that she hides herself very well, but she lacks a careful person who can understand her with a little attention.
Lu Shizhen scratched his nose lightly and said embarrassedly: "It turns out that my acting skills are so bad..."
"Yes." Xu Shiyue nodded, and then continued: "I will accompany you to all the places you want to go."
Lu Shizhen was somewhat moved when he heard Xu Shiyue's words.
Xu Shiyue curled her eyes, acknowledging what Lu Shizhen said, and said lazily, "Yes, as long as Teacher Sixteen is here, I want to stay with Teacher Sixteen, and I don't even want to go to the company."
Having said this, Xu Shiyue paused for a moment, her slightly curved eyes revealing something, and her smile became even more pronounced.
The voice licked along the tip of the tongue over the teeth, with an alluring ambiguity: "I suddenly feel that being Teacher Sixteen's drawing paper is quite happy. I can be touched by Teacher Sixteen, and I can become the way Teacher Sixteen likes."
I don’t know if it was these words or the look in this person’s eyes that brought back all the memories of last night in Lu Shizhen’s mind.
The sun was scorching, but Lu Shizhen's mind was filled with depression. He suddenly felt as if his ears were burning.
As if unwilling to lose, Lu Shizhen pursed her lips, pretending to be calm as she turned sideways to look at Xu Shiyue, her blushing eyes reflecting some smiles: "But compared to the drawing paper, I still like you better, October."
"Didn't October become the person I like last night?"
The summer heat pushed her voice past Xu Shiyue's ears, and Lu Shizhen's gaze was three times more dazzling than the sun in front of the windshield.
This space was not very narrow, but the door was filled with an ambiguous smell that could not be suppressed no matter how hard the air conditioner pushed it down.
Xu Shiyue licked her lips lightly after hearing this, and then asked slowly without pausing: "So when will Teacher Sixteen become the person I like?"
Whether it was the sunlight or Lu Shizhen's smile, they were instantly suppressed by Xu Shiyue's question.
As an innocent girl who had little experience in flirting, had been drawing hot-blooded comics for five years and even held hands with adults and children, Lu Shizhen's thin face almost blushed after hearing Xu Shiyue's words.
What's more, these words were spoken by Lu Shizhen just a second ago, so how could she not understand the meaning of his words
The car was silent for a while. Xu Shiyue waited for Lu Shizhen to answer, so she pretended that she hadn't noticed anything and asked, "So is it okay tonight?"
The sun near noon was so dazzling that it almost wrote the four big words "blue sky, white sun" in the sky.
The redness on Lu Shizhen's face deepened, and she shouted to Xu Shiyue, "Xu Shiyue!"
