The water in the well is about half a zhang away from the well mouth. A small world has appeared under the water surface. The people in the small world are being tortured by diseases. There are dying children, crying mothers, and dragging their sick bodies.
People working hard in the fields... Such a scene is really sad.
Yun Caiyao couldn't help but feel sad. The Taisu Immortal Pavilion has always emphasized entering the world and then leaving it. One must first step into the martial arts world, witness the disputes in the martial arts world and the sufferings of the people, and then further leave the world to practice.
But she knew that although she was in the mortal world, she could not see through it. This time she went to heaven because she could not bear to see the human catastrophe caused by the war.
The plague was rampant in the small world in front of him, with corpses everywhere, the dead were innocent, and the living were miserable. Although Yun Caiyao felt sorry for it, he could not do more. He had no choice but to leave the well and move forward.
The glass flowers began to shatter, and countless ghosts rushed out from the darkened pieces of flowers.
Yun Caiyao drew his sword, the sword light flashed, and he continued to protect himself as he moved forward with difficulty.
There were more and more ghosts and monsters. She tried her best to keep her mind clear, and she wielded her sword to kill the monsters and demons.
Until they were exhausted, there was suddenly a bright light in front of them, and all the ghosts fled.
Yun Caiyao took a deep breath, her chest heaving. With her ability, she almost ran out of breath after killing her all this time.
After a brief breath, he walked forward towards the sacred light. In front of him was a golden "Buddha" with two attendants beside him, one with the sun on his head and the other with the moon on his head.
The golden Buddha sat on a twelve-petal lotus pedestal, motionless. On the incense table in front of him was a glazed treasure box with a pill in it.
The elixir emitted a holy light, and just smelling its fragrance was enough to lift one's spirits.
Behind the golden Buddha and the two attendants with the sun and the moon on their heads, there is a gate of light, which is the exit.
Yun Caiyao stepped forward, bowed devoutly to the golden Buddha, and then took the glazed treasure box.
Just as he was about to leave with the glass treasure box, he paused there. After a while, he let out a slight sigh, turned around and walked into the darkness again.
The endless ghosts came again. She gritted her teeth, drew her sword and rushed back to the well. Without thinking too much, she opened the treasure box and poured the pill into the well.
The precious pill dissolved in the water, and in the small world, sweet rain fell, dead trees came back to life, the plague demon disappeared, and the air was filled with fragrance.
Yuncai breathed a sigh of relief, and when he looked again, the surroundings had returned to the pure and flawless world of pure glass, with holy light covering the sky and fragrance filling the air...
—
Ming Yueshu found herself on the sea. Behind her were endless blue waves and in the distance ahead, there seemed to be a fairy mountain.
She stepped on the waves and floated towards the fairy mountain.
With her current strength, it is not difficult for her to walk on the waves for a certain period of time.
But whether it was the sea or the fairy mountains in the distance, they all gave her a vague feeling.
Ming Yueshu was once lost in illusion and reality in the Kunlun secret realm. Although she had experience, she still could not distinguish between reality and illusion.
But her mood at this moment was much better than it was then. She just went with the flow and took things as they came. The waves actually pushed her towards the fairy mountain.
She successfully stepped onto the fairy mountain. When she looked at it from a distance, she felt that the fairy mountain was majestic, sacred and flawless. But when she climbed to the top of the mountain, it seemed to be just an ordinary mountain.
But when she turned around and looked at the sea behind her, she saw densely packed skeletons struggling in the sea, trying their best to get to the shore.
They roared at her, growled at her, angry that she was able to climb the fairy mountain.
Mingyue seemed to be thinking about something. It turned out that she had gone through a period of suffering.
She has been carrying too much on her shoulders, and now she hardly knows what suffering is.
Those difficult years have long become a daily routine.
The sea of suffering is bitter, but to her, she just crossed an ordinary sea, just as the years are bitter, but when she looks back on the past, she has just lived a peaceful life.
The girl walked towards the mountain gate. It was an ordinary garden that could be seen in many places in the Jiangnan water towns. Passing through the purple bamboo forest, there were nine-curve carved railings, waterside pavilions and terraces, but there was nothing too surprising about it.
There were fish in the water and birds on the eaves, they were so leisurely and happy. She stood in the waterside pavilion, looking down at the fish swimming under the lotus, and was mesmerized for a moment.
It took her a long time to come to her senses, and she crossed the lake and went into the depths.
But then I saw a woman, extremely beautiful, dressed in white, with eighteen arms, spread out in a circle, each performing mysterious finger movements, indescribably wonderful...
Chapter 467: All Four Elements Are Empty, a Difference in One Thought
Shi Hao's situation at this moment is much more difficult than Yue'er and Yuncai's.
There was darkness all around him, and in front of him, there was a furious Vajra and a ferocious Arhat.
These Vajra Arhats had surrounded him at some point and were holding him tightly.
"Who is this devil who dares to enter Lingshan without permission?" one of the Arhats shouted.
It was a very formulaic shout, without much emotion in it, but with this shout, all the other Vajra Arhats were mobilized, and their eighteen kinds of weapons, each emitting holy light, attacked him.
Shi Hao thought to himself "not good", he didn't know whether the attacks of these Vajra Arhats were real or illusions, but no matter what, he didn't dare to test them with his flesh and blood.
It would be funny if you tried it yourself and only found out it was not an illusion after you were beaten to death.
The Yue-Smashing Sword was unsheathed, and with a bang, it shook away the oncoming golden pestle.
The golden pestle slipped away and he felt his arm go numb.
There were swords and iron rods hanging down from both sides.
Shi Hao flew up, sword light flashing, but the more he fought, the stronger these Vajra Arhats became.
Shi Hao thought quickly in his mind, thinking that even if he entered Lingshan without permission, according to the "settings", Lingshan should not kill people indiscriminately.
With a change of mind, he tried his best to suppress his demonic power and only used the Taoist Qi to fight the enemy. The murderous intent of these Vajra Arhats was indeed much less, but they still did not stop.
Shi Hao recovered a little, and he moved forward quickly like lightning. In front of him, a Bodhisattva held a golden bowl, and the bowl flipped over, covering him.
He thought to himself that this was not good, wondering if he was being captured as a demon.
He rushed left and right, and there was a bright golden light all around him, but he couldn't get through at all.
He thought again, thinking that if this was a test, then there should be some clues.
Then I thought of the inscription at the mountain gate... "All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows; like dew and lightning, they should be viewed in this way."
He paused, letting nature take its course and keeping his mind clear.
He walked into the golden light, and the bowl turned into a shadow. The surrounding Vajra Arhats were still brandishing swords and sticks, but they were doing it on their own and did not attack him.
Shi Hao didn't dare to let his mind wander. The Bodhisattva waved his hand and the golden bowl flew back to his hand. He held the golden bowl in his hand and still looked at Shi Hao.
Shi Hao completely ignored the existence of the Bodhisattva. He knew that these were just some kind of designed "bans". If you didn't trigger it, it wouldn't work.
But the Bodhisattva always stared at him intently, which made him feel very uncomfortable. He tried his best to keep his mind clear and walked past the Bodhisattva without paying attention to the way he was staring at him.
Going further ahead, there was a river in front of us. The water was roaring and there were many starving ghosts in the river.
There was a boat by the river, but it had no bottom. Shi Hao looked at the bottomless boat and fell into deep thought. However, while he was thinking, the Vajra Arhats came towards him again, and the golden bowl in the hands of the Bodhisattva covered his head again.
Shi Hao quickly cleared his mind and once again stopped thinking. He looked at the boat and jumped onto it on a whim.
Landing on the bottomless boat, it was surprisingly stable. Although the bottomless boat had no bottom, it could carry people. The boat did not need anyone to operate it, and it swam to the other side on its own.
Shi Hao stood on the boat. The evil spirits around him tried to grab him, but he ignored them.
When the boat was halfway there, he turned around and saw a corpse thrown behind him. It floated in the river for a while and then sank.
He suddenly realized that this river was the River of Troubles and that his troubles had been thrown away along with the corpse.
The bottomless boat reached the other side, and Shi Hao stepped onto the shore. The surrounding scenery instantly became gorgeous, with numerous celestial maidens flying around him, their postures bewitching and beautiful.
His mind moved slightly, and he immediately felt a force as strong as a mountain, pressing down on him layer by layer, trying to suppress him.
He quickly put away his thoughts and ignored these beautiful goddesses. His heart was empty as he passed through these goddesses. His shadow remained here, but he was floating away.
He felt like he was traveling between heaven and earth, drifting with the wind, and before he knew it, he came to a giant Buddha.
The Buddha was as big as the heaven and earth. There was a green lamp in front of the Buddha, illuminating the empty and clear mind in his heart.
He looked up at the Buddha and had an epiphany, realizing that the four elements were empty. He then sat cross-legged, emitting Buddha's light.
After a long time, his body slowly turned to stone. Suddenly, a white light flashed around him, and a girl appeared beside him.
The girl looked at him puzzledly at first, then gently pushed him beside her and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong with you?"
She was Ming Yueshu. She left the treasure mountain on the sea, and somehow she felt as if she had lost something.
At this moment, she was clear-headed and inexplicably worried about him. With this thought in mind, she walked on the water and actually came to his side.
Ming Yueshu knelt down beside him and saw that he was motionless and silent, as if everything was turning into a "dream", and she began to panic.
Ming Yueshu pushed him and kept calling him. He opened his eyes and looked at her, with no joy or worry in his eyes, as if he was just looking at a pretty skeleton, and then closed his eyes again.
Yue'er felt uneasy when he looked at her like that. She knew that if she left him alone, he would probably just sit there forever and never get up.
She began to speak softly in his ears, talking about the people who had appeared by his side, from Yue Jiao to Xiao Yan, from Ruoxin, Xiao Que to Yue Yaer. She wanted to call him back, but she couldn't do it.
Seeing that he was about to turn into stone, his existence was like disappearing. She thought of a plan, bit her lip quietly, glanced at him, stretched out her hand, fiddled with something, then fell beside him, hiding her head in shame.
The young man moved and looked down. Although he was completely free from all emotions, he still couldn't help but react to her actions.
Yue'er looked up and saw that she seemed to have called him back a little, so she continued. As if the frozen seeds were rejuvenated, the young man gradually came alive. He gently called "Yue'er", hugged her, and leaned forward to press her down.
It turns out that Shi Hao, Ming Yueshu and Yun Caiyao entered the Great Leiyin Temple at the same time. The Great Leiyin Temple represents "Buddhism", but Buddhism does not have only one path, but many methods.
Different methods have their own paths in the Great Leiyin Temple, including the impermanence of all phenomena, all defilements are suffering, no self in all dharmas, nirvana and tranquility, etc., each is different.
Mingyueshu and Yuncaiyao did not know the concept of "Buddhism". They just followed their own nature. One crossed the sea of suffering and reached "Putuo Mountain", and the other passed the path of all sufferings and reached the "Pure Lapis Lazuli World".
Because they did not know Buddhism and were kind by nature and wanted to save the world, they did not come across too many tests and easily gained something.
Shi Hao was different, he practiced both Taoism and magic, and had the source of magic in his body, so he triggered the Buddhist array from the beginning. As a time traveler, he knew there were such things as "Buddhism" and "Dharma", so he deliberately used Buddha to control the devil, but he got obsessed with it.
On this Buddhist path, in order to pass the test, he took the initiative to cater to Buddhism. Therefore, he abandoned his "lustful body" on the river of troubles, gave up his "pleasure" among the goddesses, and entered the state of emptiness of the four elements under the green lamp and before the ancient Buddha.
If Yue'er had not come, he would have sat in Nirvana here, merged with the Buddha, and reached the supreme realm of true Buddha.
In this way, all the love and hatred in the past became false, and all the beauties were empty.
Like Yuejiao, Xiaoyan, Ruoxin, Xiaoque, Zhuo Mulan, Yueyaer and so on, they all became passing clouds from now on, and he would not take them to heart at all.
He will sacrifice his life to become a Buddha and will never get close to women again. He only wishes to spread Buddhism in the three realms and preach the Dharma.
In this way, Buddhism will flourish in the three realms, and Buddhism will coexist with Taoism and the devil, opening a convenient door for the world and saving all living beings. Isn't this a good thing
Unfortunately, Yue Er came and sacrificed her beauty to seduce him. As the saying goes, "form is emptiness, emptiness is form", and Yue Er's behavior actually aroused the emptiness he had already abandoned, making his desire for body and pleasure return.
In fact, if she had arrived a step later, he would have been like Sakyamuni who passed away under the Bodhi tree, becoming the first "awakened one" in the three realms after the collapse of the Heavenly Palace. She would not have to suffer all kinds of bullying from him in the rest of her life, and would not have to raise children for him and go through all the hard work.
From this we can see that a single mistake can really harm people. The world lost an enlightened person, and because of this momentary mistake, she suffered all kinds of bullying many nights in her life, and had to pose in many different positions and suffer shame and humiliation.
Many good girls like Yuejiao, Xiaoyan, Yueyaer, etc. could have had a quiet life, but because of this turn of events, they were bound to suffer all kinds of hardships in the future.
It can be seen that her difference in thought really misled others and herself.
Shi Hao wanted to return to his body and pleasure. Seeing Yue'er doing this for him, his heart was moved and he could not help but continue. Although Yue'er was shy, she put herself aside and followed them. For a moment, even the green lamp in front of the Buddha could not help but shake with them.
The green lamp in front of the Buddha flickered until the wick exploded, bursting into countless stars. Then there was a loud bang, and both of them were startled. Shi Hao turned around and saw that the huge ancient Buddha had exploded and turned into countless pieces of rubble.
Generally speaking, if the heavens collapsed, Lingshan would be affected. The Great Leiyin Temple was only barely able to maintain itself.
At this moment, someone should have entered Nirvana, attained Bodhi, passed on the Dharma, and saved all living beings. But those two people made a mistake and did such a dirty thing in front of the Buddha. For a moment, even the Buddha was furious.
Seeing the sky shaking and the earth trembling, Shi Hao hurriedly grabbed his clothes and picked up Yue'er. He saw something falling from the exploded Buddha statue, but he didn't have time to see it clearly, so he grabbed it and flew away.
At that time, Yun Caiyao had already stepped out of the Great Leiyin Temple. She had a treasure box in her hand, which contained a mysterious medicine pill.
Bai Lan was waiting here with her. Suddenly, there was an explosion in the Great Leiyin Temple. Amid the loud noise, Yun Caiyao and Bai Lan saw Shi Hao flying into the sky holding Ming Yueshu. What was even more strange was that the two men were not wearing any clothes.
Yun Caiyao was stunned, wondering why they were in this situation. However, at this moment, the entire Lingshan Mountain was shaking, and Shi Hao shouted, "Go!"
They hurriedly boarded the pink and white flying dragon, which swung its tail and quickly flew out of Lingshan.
Looking back, the Great Leiyin Temple had been blown into ruins, and many statues on the entire Lingshan Mountain were shattered. Amid the loud explosions, half of the Lingshan Mountain collapsed, and the rest was shattered.
A huge amount of energy rushed towards them, the wind howled, and the sand swirled wildly. Bai Lan carried them and fled in a hurry.
Only when they were far away from the crumbling Lingshan did they feel relieved. Shi Hao hurriedly helped Yue'er put on her clothes, and Yue'er's face turned red... How could she not feel ashamed when Yun Caiyao saw them like this
"What on earth happened?" Yun Caiyao was also speechless.
Shi Hao quickly dressed himself. He coughed lightly and said, "It's all my fault that I got stuck in there accidentally. Fortunately, Yue'er showed up and helped me... cough!"
Yun Caiyao said: "Is this so..." What kind of situation is it that requires Senior Goddess Ying to help him in this way
Shi Hao asked, "Miss Caiyao, did you gain anything from this trip?"
Yun Caiyao flipped her hand and took out the treasure box. She told him about her experience after entering the Great Leiyin Temple, and then said, "This pill should be called the Medicine Master Glass Pearl. It has the effect of curing diseases and expelling demons. Even those who have gone astray can recover under the illumination of the pearl."
You know, in the history of the martial arts, once someone is possessed, there is almost no cure. When Yue Jiao showed signs of possessing a demon, Shi Hao was extremely worried. It was not until Yue Jiao became Princess Kong Ming that she was truly free from the danger of possessing a demon.
