The Buddha statue was covered with wet mud.
Xie Jiuniang wiped it clean carefully, and then cast a few dust-cleansing spells, and a golden Buddha statue was revealed in its entirety. It was a Maitreya Buddha with a big belly and a kind and lovely smile.
Xie Jiuniang excitedly described the situation at that time, "The Buddha statue was buried in mud and rocks. If it hadn't collapsed, it wouldn't have come out. No wonder it wasn't found before."
"Give it to me and show it to me."
Xie Shen took the small golden Buddha statue and looked at it from left to right and up to down. "It doesn't look special. The only special thing is the eyes of the Buddha statue. They are very lifelike."
As he spoke, he touched the Buddha statue's right eye with his finger.
Suddenly something unexpected happened and a golden light enveloped him.
Xie Jiuniang was shocked, "Dad?!"
Moran, who was standing next to him, was also shocked. Then, seeing that her husband looked calm and did not look like he had been attacked, she realized that this might be a great opportunity and quickly grabbed her nervous daughter.
"Don't be afraid, Jiuer. Your father might be very lucky." Moran pulled his daughter aside and reminded her.
Xie Jiuniang was just worried and confused.
Looking at my father's condition now, it really is a bit similar.
The mother and daughter did not dare to disturb them and quietly retreated away without making any noise. Fortunately, they had set up a formation just now and did not have to worry about being disturbed by outsiders.
Xie Jiuniang's heart was lifted high, and she rubbed her hands excitedly, "Mom, did Dad get the inheritance?"
"I don't know. Why don't we just ask him when he wakes up?" Mo Lan was equally excited, but acted much calmer than Xie Jiuniang. "But your father robbed me of the opportunity I worked so hard to get. Are you angry?"
Xie Jiuniang rolled her eyes at her mother.
If it was someone else, she would not only be angry, but might even kill the person. However, the person who intercepted the opportunity was her father, so not only was she not angry, she was very happy.
Then she thought of something else, "Mom, Buddhists can get married, right?"
Mo Lan understood and couldn't help but smile: "Yes, a lay disciple."
Xie Jiuniang breathed a sigh of relief.
It's a good thing that her father has the opportunity, but she doesn't want her parents' relationship to be affected because of this opportunity.
The mother and daughter communicated with their spiritual consciousness while watching Xie Shen accept the inheritance.
The wait lasted for three days and two nights.
For Xie Shen, three days passed in the blink of an eye. When he opened his eyes again, everything had changed. The daughter who should have been by his side was already sitting under the eaves with his wife.
Xie Jiuniang was the first to notice that her father had woken up. She quickly ran to him, licked his face and asked excitedly, "Dad! You're awake. How are you?"
"Girl?"
When Xie Shen came back to his senses, he saw his daughter Shui Lingling's eyes full of curiosity, "It is the inheritance of a Zen master named Yuan Yi, as well as his lifelong insights."
"Wow!"
Xie Jiuniang grinned and gave her father a thumbs up. "With your great understanding, father can avoid taking detours in cultivation. My father is awesome. From now on, my mother and I'll depend on you for safety. But..."
She glanced at Moran next to her.
Suddenly she was hit on the back of the head by Moran.
Moran laughed and scolded: "You are worrying about the child who hasn't even grown up yet. Are you itching for trouble?"
"Hahaha." Xie Shen laughed heartily.
Xie Jiuniang looked aggrieved and glared at her father with accusatory eyes, "Dad, you're still laughing? You don't even care about your wife. She beat up your precious daughter."
"In front of my wife, even my baby is useless." Xie Shen's words were heart-wrenching.
Xie Jiuniang glanced at him sideways, "Oh."
Xie Shen, "…"
Moran couldn't help laughing when he saw this.
Xie Shen felt it necessary to tell his daughter some underlying common sense about the world of immortal cultivation, including the cultivation of magic, body, Buddha, ghosts, and demons, etc. Although their methods of cultivation are different, they all lead to the same goal in the end, which is to ascend to heaven.
Whether to get married or not has little to do with the practice of the exercises, it is mainly a matter of personal will. Let's not talk about other people, is it true that Buddhist practitioners are pure and don't touch women
Innocent!
It’s not that I don’t have women, it’s that I know how to play with them!
For example, a Buddhist saint in the training system
Or he could go to the mortal world to save all living beings, and when he meets a beautiful woman, he could help her to overcome the tribulation of love.
Xie Jiuniang’s three views were refreshed.
Moran glared at her husband in warning, "My daughter is still young, why are you teaching her nonsense? Don't you think about it?"
"I'm just trying to clear up my daughter's confusion." Xie Shen said with a flattering smile, "If I don't explain it to my daughter, she will always worry about us. It's also luck that we can get the inheritance..."
Master Yuanyi died in the final battle with the demons. He was determined to die before going to the battlefield. Not wanting his inheritance to be cut off, he sealed his main practice method "The Ancient Heart Sutra" and his lifelong insights in the eyes of the Buddha statue, and then threw it back to the sect with magic.
The Buddha statue fell to the back mountain and was buried very deep in the ground. Due to some strange coincidence, it has never been discovered.
But Zen meditation is not the same as Buddhist practice.
Zen is a branch of Buddhism, with different methods and approaches for cultivation.
Buddha is compassionate and has mercy on all living beings. He focuses on cultivating merits. Only when one’s merits are complete can one become a Buddha instantly.
Zen is the supreme wisdom and tranquility.
A peaceful heart, pure and flawless, returns to the true self. Only by understanding it can one transcend and ascend to become an immortal.
This is a bit profound. To put it simply, Buddhist practitioners usually have to run around doing good deeds and work hard to earn merit.
Meditation is to enter into a state of concentration and contemplation.
They don't have to go everywhere, just provide a meditation room for them to meditate quietly. This can also accumulate merit, but it is not necessary.
Xie Jiuniang thought she was secretly relieved.
Meditation is good, very good!
Otherwise, it is simply unimaginable for a father to chant "Amitabha" all the time.
