"The three elements become one qi, and yin and yang are divided into forward and reverse..."
The Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra is not complicated, at least not for a strong man of Gao Xuan's level.
However, the "Taiyi Yuanshi Jing" is an extremely advanced method of cultivation.
The general outline is a systematic discussion and analysis of heaven, earth, and sentient beings. It explains very clearly the changes of heaven and earth, the relationship between sentient beings and heaven and earth, and the origin and changes of primordial energy.

The so-called clear air rises and turbid air descends.
The purer the vital energy is, the more it will rise. The more turbid the vital energy is, the more it will sink.
The Qingtian Realm is the lowest, with the lowest level of vital energy, while the Daluo Realm is the highest, occupying the best immortal spiritual energy in the immortal world.
Below the Immortal Realm, the world of cultivators is filled with too much turbid air. When the turbid air settles to the bottom, it becomes the Yellow Spring.
Deeper than the Yellow Springs is an endless abyss.
If Huangquan is the charnel ground of the immortal world and the world of cultivators, then the Endless Abyss is the garbage dump. All the filth, foul air and resentment are deposited in the abyss.
Millions of years of accumulation have also allowed the abyss to breed various powerful demons, which in turn infiltrate the upper world.
Gao Xuan only needed to read the outline before he suddenly realized everything and gained a clear and comprehensive understanding of the fairy world.
It seems that Ksitigarbha, as the lord of the abyss, is no ordinary earthly immortal.
However, Gao Xuan was very skeptical about the title of Lord of the Abyss.
The abyss is so terrible that even the immortals cannot solve it, so how can Ksitigarbha be the master of the abyss? It is more likely that Ksitigarbha is just a nominal manager.

This matter can only be put aside for now. For now, I should focus on my cultivation and kill some monsters to level up.
The most wonderful thing about Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra is that it has a systematic and complete method of cultivation. This solves Gao Xuan's biggest problem now.
Baili Qingtong certainly couldn't have imagined that a dignified Heavenly Master would secretly learn the Qingxu Sect's magic.

The 72 Earthly Evil Transformations were just some spells that showed some laws and rules. However, these rules were very scattered.
The Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra is a systematic analysis of the laws of the fairy world, which provides Gao Xuan with a huge and stable framework and points out the way forward.
This kind of analysis from the origin is very important to Gao Xuan. Once you understand the origin of the law, it will be easy to practice it.
There can be no unified standard for these specific details such as breathing in vital energy, visualizing divine images, and tempering the soul.
The situations of each practitioner are very different, and only by finding one's own path can one go higher and further.
Of course, before finding your own way, you must lay a solid foundation.
The Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra is the foundation. The methods of breathing in and out the vital energy and visualization in the Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra are also of great reference value to Gao Xuan.
With the Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra as the foundation, Gao Xuan can revise his own cultivation techniques. This is enough.
After Gao Xuan read the Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra once, he knew that if he wanted to increase his strength as quickly as possible, the shortcut was to overcome the heavenly tribulation.
The Taiyi Yuanshi Sutra explains the issue of heavenly tribulations very clearly.
No matter how much a cultivator cultivates his soul, it is still a pure yin spirit. The stronger the pure yin energy is, the easier it is to attract the pure yang thunder of the immortal world.
The reason why cultivators need to overcome tribulations is the most natural attraction between yin and yang in the fairy world.
When a cultivator survives a thunder tribulation, his soul absorbs pure yang energy, which greatly increases his power. When his soul digests this pure yang energy, the pure yin energy of his soul becomes stronger and stronger, and he will attract thunder tribulation again.
This cycle repeats itself over and over again, and this is the origin of the 49 heavenly tribulations in the fairy world.
A cultivator does not need to undergo the tribulation if he wants to. As long as he stops practicing and his spiritual power weakens, he will not trigger the thunder tribulation.
However, the soul is the foundation of life. If the soul is weak, one will not live long.
This is true for cultivators, demons, immortals and Buddhas alike.
Only after passing through forty-nine heavenly tribulations and entering the level of Daluo Jinxian, can one's spirit and soul turn into pure yang, live as long as the sky, shine as brightly as the sun, and no longer be troubled by heavenly tribulations.
Gao Xuan's soul is pure and powerful, and the normal breathing of vital energy and visualization of divine appearance cannot serve to sharpen his soul.
Natural treasures are useful, but his foundation is shallow. He can't even produce chalcedony and gold paste for daily use, so where can he get natural treasures from
Gao Xuan estimated that it might take hundreds or even thousands of years of gradual practice before he could make a breakthrough given his spiritual level.
This is also because his spiritual level is too high and it is difficult to break through.
Although Gao Xuan was not in a hurry, there was no need to waste a thousand years at such a low level.
If you understand the nature of the heavenly tribulation, it will not be difficult to trigger it.

Gao Xuan restrained his spiritual aura, and the pure yang thunder power deep in the void lost its target and disappeared quietly.
Once we find the method to trigger the heavenly calamity, things will be easy.

Lian Yi bowed and saluted: "Master, I am back."
Gao Xuan nodded slightly: "This skill of flying with a sword is quite good."
He paused, stood up and said, "Let's go and see the Iron Horn King today."
Lianyi had no reaction to this. Gao Xuan was her sword master. No matter what Gao Xuan wanted to do, she would obey unconditionally.
Gao Xuan flicked his sleeves, and a white cloud danced and transformed, soon turning into a gorgeous cloud chariot. In front of it were four white celestial horses made of cloud.
Pegasus is tall and majestic, with bulging muscles, long snow-white mane flying in the wind, and sharp and lively eyes.
The four celestial horses raised their hooves and heads, looking extremely excited, as if they couldn't wait to fly away. It was completely impossible to tell that they were made of clouds.
The chariot made of clouds is elegant and luxurious in shape, and the white gauze curtains hanging around it are like smoke and air, adding a bit of ethereal and magical air.
Lianyi was very sensible and helped Gao Xuan onto the carriage. The four peacock horses did not need to be driven, they raised their hooves and galloped into the air, and in the blink of an eye they flew into the sky.
The carriage was unusually stable, yet extremely fast. Wherever it passed, it left a faint stream of clouds in the clear blue sky.
In less than an incense stick of time, the cloud chariot had arrived at the Yunxi Mountains.
The so-called Yunxi Mountain Range is naturally a mountain range with thousands of peaks and ridges. Above the mountains, there are clouds flowing like streams and springs.
Looking from afar, the mountains are green and the clouds are beautiful. It is really a good place.
The Pegasus pulled the cloud chariot and descended rapidly, landing in the middle of a wide valley.
The valley is surrounded by high peaks on three sides, and only on the south side is there a wide road leading directly to the outside.
There is a cave on the north mountain opposite the entrance to the valley, and the entrance to the cave is a hundred feet high.

Such monsters deserve to be killed no matter how spiritual they are.

Lianyi was not a human, and although she hated the scene, she did not feel any fear or anger.
Both of them were very calm, but the little demon in the valley could not remain calm.
The Yunxi Mountains were ruled by King Tiejiao, and even cultivators did not dare to enter the mountains. How could someone so bold and reckless come from entering their King's cave
Immediately, a group of ugly little monsters surrounded them. Some of them were holding wooden spears and shields, while others were holding rough stone axes and hammers. Only a few tall monsters were holding iron weapons.

He didn't look at the dog-headed demon. He shouted at the cave entrance, "Where is Tiejiao? Come out and die."
Gao Xuan's voice was melodious, clear, and yet extremely penetrating. As soon as he spoke a word, all the mountains echoed and roared.
A loud roar came from deep in the cave: "Whoever dares to challenge Grandpa is seeking death!"
