Men are afraid of encountering funeral doors, and women are afraid of meeting mourners.
Sang Men is the evil god of the year, responsible for death, funerals and crying.
The mourner is the evil spirit of the year, responsible for illness and weeping.
This is the description in Xie Ji Bian Fang Shu.
Simply put, these two are the evil spirits under Tai Sui who are in charge of matters related to filial piety and funerals.
They often appear in homes where funerals are being held, and transform themselves into the appearance of a man and a woman, smiling at the hosts.
Although both are evil spirits that foreshadow death and their images are easily confused, people's fear of these two is much greater than that of Impermanence.
In the final analysis, no matter which origin legend you look at, the Seventh and Eighth Masters are all very loyal and hate evil, and people respect such qualities.
But these two are different. Their origins are unknown, and the legends they are involved in are more or less unlucky.
It seems that just talking about them makes my scalp tingle.
Zhou Chuan was also influenced by this idea and deliberately avoided these two when making the card. Unexpectedly, he met them in this City of Death today.
"Please stand back. They are not easy to deal with."
As Hei Wuchang spoke, he stretched out his arms and tightly grasped the soul-catching chain.
As the chain rotated, the invisible aura slowly expanded, and both ends of the chain moved as if they were alive.
There was only a very light murmur: "What a piece of crap, my brother doesn't even use this kind of chain to tie up his dog."
The next moment, Mr. Ba rushed forward, exerted force with one arm, and overturned the table in front of the mourner.
The dishes then rose into the air and immediately turned into things like paper money, stones, white flowers, and dead toads and fell down.
The mourner, however, held up his umbrella silently with an unchanged smile, and slowly rose into the air with his legs clasped together. His free arm swung like a knife, lifting up a scarlet ribbon, causing the blood river in the yellow sky to surge.
Seeing this, Master Ba just sneered. After his true spirit was revived, all the combat experience he had honed over endless years also returned to him.
Although it is restricted by many factors and cannot be fully utilized, it is still easy to deal with the confused mourner.
For example, this attack, which looked very powerful, was actually full of loopholes. Mr. Ba easily found the flaw in it, and with a flick of the chain, he wrapped around his arm, followed by a flying knee filled with yin energy and mental strength.
The mourner then bent his body like a shrimp, but his smiling face remained unchanged.
Hei Wuchang felt a little annoyed and threw another heavy punch. In the void, one could faintly see the leafless red flower withering and blooming again, but this beautiful and deadly "flower" hit the hangman's face.
The smile suddenly changed and the mourner seemed a little angry. He threw away the black umbrella in his hand. In an instant, the sound of ghosts and gods wailing could be heard, and the whole world was in turmoil.
The Black Mountain Ghost King, who was far away in the Lord's Palace of the City of Wrongful Death, also felt this power, and a look of envy appeared on his face, which, coupled with the lines of blood and tears, looked extremely weird.
He wiped it again and again, and his hands with black nails were stained with dark red blood.
Obviously, inviting these two evil gods out would not be an easy task even for someone with his strength.
In other words, the core element of controlling gods has never been related to strength.
After all, no matter how strong you are, can you be stronger than them? Even if you are really that strong, what is the point of controlling them if you are so powerful yourself
For fun? For the cards
To sum up, the issue of controlling gods and immortals always seemed to be a false proposition, until such a case came out a few days ago.
That's Zhou Chuan.
As a silver card maker, he actually created a god.
In fact, since the beginning of the card era, many excellent card players have made some extremely powerful spiritual cards by themselves or brought them out from the ruins, some of which are called gods and immortals.
However, although these cards are powerful, they lack something that is hard to explain.
Even the masters standing at the top of Jiuzhou cannot explain what that thing is, but if they see it, they can recognize it immediately.
This is an obsession engraved in the bones of card players.
Over the years, the masters have given up so much in search of something that is hard to explain.
But just a few days ago, when several elders were watching the video recording the "number one scholar" controversy, they saw that thing on a purple spiritual card called "Niu Tou" and "Niu Sanye".
That day, China was shaken.
These people tried hard to suppress their joy and started to look up the candidate's information. It would have been fine if they hadn't checked, but they were shocked when they did.
There were four spiritual cards in total, all carrying what they were looking for.
And the same was true for the two spiritual cards he created later, according to the information sent back by the younger generation.
To be honest, many people have gradually learned about this matter, but to this day, few dare to cause trouble for Zhou Chuan. The reason is that those people have issued the death order.
Return
This plan, which focuses on allowing Zhou Chuan to grow on his own and not paying too much attention to avoid forcing his growth, is like a mountain pressing on the shoulders of ambitious people like the Black Mountain Ghost King.
The Black Mountain Ghost King knew very well that if Zhou Chuan really died here, those old guys would probably plow the Black Mountain that spanned several provinces into flat land just to crush him to death.
But for him, Zhou Chuan had to be killed.
The City of the Unjustly Dead. Just because of these three words, they are mortal enemies.
"He is just a lucky kid. These old dogs are really foolish. They actually believed the words of that blind fortune teller who played the role of Wang Ba Ke and wanted to let him go. Now he has just gotten the advantage for me."
"When I discover the secret of the 'divinity', I will kill you to appease my ruthlessness!"
The Black Mountain Ghost King roared and placed his hand on the armrest of the seat of the withered beast's head. He looked at the scene in which the Eighth Master was fighting alone against the mourners of the Death Gate, while Zhou Chuan was hugging his arms under the protection of the other three Yin Gods, and sneered.
These two dark creatures were so strange and powerful that even he had no way to deal with them.
If the news of the mere gold-level mental strength and purple spiritual card being able to suppress them got out, it would be laughable.
"Hehe."
The Black Mountain Ghost King placed one hand on his cheek and looked at the scene not far away. He was not worried at all about the mourner who was at a disadvantage.
At the same time, as the hangman threw out the black umbrella, Mr. Ba's movements slowed down significantly, but he still approached the hangman at a speed invisible to the naked eye, and punched out with heavy punches packed with Yin energy and mental strength.
Bai Wuchang, who had been guarding Zhou Chuan all the time, was staring at the black umbrella that was flying in the air and continuously dropping strange talismans, and seemed a little dazed.
This scene was also noticed by Zhou Chuan.
He patted his head lightly and suddenly thought of something.
In legends, there are actually two images of Black and White Impermanence.
One of them is what we have now, one is the soul-catching lock and the other is the mourning stick.
The other image is occupied by a mourner, who is the one in front of us holding a black umbrella and carrying a bundle.
To put it bluntly, the latter two, like the former two, are magical weapons against ghosts.
Zhou Chuan didn't know what the bag was, but the black umbrella did have a story behind it.
As early as when he first created Black Impermanence and added rationality, Zhou Chuan mentioned:
When the Seventh and Eighth Masters arrived at the Nantai Bridge, it happened to rain heavily. The Seventh Master wanted to go back to get an umbrella and asked the Eighth Master to stay here for a while.
But when he hurried back clutching a black umbrella, the river water had already flooded the bridge and Mr. Ba was nowhere to be seen.
And this black umbrella is exactly that black umbrella.
