love letter

During the physical education class in the afternoon, Chen Luobai played a game of ball with Zhu Ran and others. They did not go to the court during the break before evening self-study. After having dinner outside, they returned to the classroom early with Zhu Ran.

It’s just that Zhu Ran didn’t know what he ate that made him sick. He sat down in the classroom and within a few seconds he ran straight to the bathroom.

Tang Jianrui and his group went to the stadium again, and the others in the front seat had not returned to the classroom yet. Chen Luobai took out his homework book and planned to do his homework while he had some time off.

After a few minutes, the chair next to him was dragged away and someone sat down.

It shouldn’t be Zhu Ran.

It is impossible for Zhu Ran to be so quiet after returning. He would probably have started muttering before he even sat down.

Chen Luobai turned around and saw Zong Kai sitting in Zhu Ran's seat. It was rare that Yin Yizhen wasn't beside him. He relaxed his brows and asked with a smile, "Why did you come here suddenly?"

Zong Kai put a can of Coke on his desk: "Come over and gossip."

"What kind of gossip?" Chen Luobai raised his eyebrows.

"I saw it during the afternoon PE class at the supermarket. What happened?" Zong Kai opened another bottle of soda in his hand and shook it at him. "This is the first time I've seen you take the initiative to buy a girl a drink. In the past, you just invited her for a treat at most."

Here comes another one.

Chen Luobai smiled and threw away his pen, knowing that he couldn't continue with this homework: "It's just a side job today."

"Come on." Zong Kai looked at him teasingly, "You even personally handed the drink to her. I've never seen you be so considerate before. You even took the initiative to approach someone and talk to them. Are you really interested in that girl?"

There was no one in the front row, and Zong Kai's voice was not loud, so no one would hear it.

Chen Luobai opened his mouth to reply.

Zong Kai interrupted him again: "Don't try to trick me with hush money. I don't believe it."

"It's hush money." Chen Luobai opened the drink he had placed on the table with one hand. His slender fingers exerted a little force, and tiny bubbles came out of the opening and exploded. He said casually, "Believe it or not."

Zong Kai was about to reply when he accidentally saw someone coming in through the front door of the classroom. He immediately changed the subject: "It must be her."

Chen Luobai was drinking Coke with his head tilted back. Upon hearing this, he grabbed the can and looked towards the door.

The girl came in from the door arm in arm with someone. She seemed to glance in his direction, but before she could meet his gaze, she immediately lowered her head as if a little frightened, and her shoulder-length hair swayed slightly beside her snow-white cheeks.

I don’t know what her companion said to her, but she suddenly smiled again, and the dimple that was seen last time was faintly visible on her cheek.

Before she returned to her seat, a boy from the third group called her.

The man wearing glasses, I think his name is He Mingyu, and he said he had an English question to ask her.

The girl raised her head again, let go of her companion's hand, walked around the podium to the third group, and sat down in front of He Mingyu.

The dimples on her cheeks were gone, but she no longer looked as jumpy as she did when she talked to him, and looked quite calm.

The bubbles of Coke burst in his mouth. Chen Luobai narrowed his eyes and put the can down.

Someone bumped his elbow lightly. Chen Luobai looked away and saw Zong Kai looking at him jokingly.

"You've been staring at me for almost a minute, and that's just a coincidence?"
