What about him

Zhou Anran's heart was beating heavily.

Maybe he noticed that she had raised her head, and that beautiful hand lightly pressed on her table, and then the boy's clear voice sounded.

"The English teacher is looking for you."

A familiar voice was close above my head.

This time he was no longer talking to Zhu Ran, Zong Kai or anyone else, and she heard him accidentally or not.

He was talking to her.

Realizing this fact, Zhou Anran's heart beat a few beats faster than expected.

In fact, this wasn't the first time he talked to her.

There have been two other times before.

Once on the first day of school, he helped her and told her to be careful.

Another time, during a big class break, when I went downstairs to do exercises in the playground, I was pushed very close by classmates who were swarming downstairs.

He and Zhu Ran were walking diagonally behind her, as if they were discussing a game.

There was a fight behind her, and the boy accidentally bumped into her shoulder while being pushed. He seemed to glance at her, but then didn't seem to, and lazily said sorry to her.

So it's totally normal that he can't remember her name.

He is the proud son of heaven who is admired by all the stars.

And she was a coward who didn't even dare to get close to him.

They are no better than strangers, nothing more than a common relationship between classmates.

Zhou Anran was afraid that her eyes would be red, so she didn't dare to look up at him. She hesitated whether to simply reply "Okay" to him, or to be bolder and ask him, "What does the teacher want from me?"

But he originally came to inform her and didn't need her reply. Before she could hesitate, the hand on the table had moved away, and then the boy also left.

The refreshing smell fades away quickly.

Zhou Anran felt like there was an empty space in his heart.

She slumped back on the table, feeling annoyed again for her poor performance in front of him.

But she was afraid that he would think that she didn't take what he just said to heart, so she quickly collected her emotions, stood up from the table, paused, and finally walked out through the front door.

Halfway through, Zhou Anran suddenly realized something.

He came over to help the teacher call her, which seemed to mean that although he couldn't remember her name, he probably still knew who she was.

The tightness in his chest finally dissipated.

But approaching the door of the English teacher's office, Zhou Anran thought of another possibility.

—The possibility that he got the wrong person.

So the office door that was only a few inches away suddenly seemed to have turned into some kind of abyss. She didn't know whether she would be in heaven or hell when she stepped into it.

An English teacher from another class walked over to her. It seemed strange to see her standing near the office, so she took a closer look.

Zhou Anran couldn't hesitate any longer and took a big step forward.

The office door is wide open.

The second class English teacher is called Lin Han. She is a young female teacher in her early thirties. Her desk is directly opposite the office door.

As soon as Zhou Anran raised her hand and knocked on the door, Lin Han raised his head and looked towards her.

Zhou Anran was afraid that she would ask why you came here.

Fortunately, Lin Han raised his head and saw her, and immediately smiled at her and waved to her: "Come in quickly."

Zhou Anran breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, walked into the office, and curled his fingertips on the edge of his school uniform pants.
