Sheng Min logged out of Weibo and sent a message to Yang Xu, who called back quickly.
Li Xuan couldn't hear clearly through the receiver, but he thought it was definitely not something good.
Sheng Min always responded in a good-tempered manner and smiled when he met Li Xuan's gaze.
"Don't let Zhang Zhihua get involved in this matter... Mr. Zhang? It's okay, I'll tell you. Don't worry." After about a minute or two, Sheng Min interrupted Yang Xu's chattering, "... Well, you have two days off today and tomorrow... I'm not rushing you. Didn't I tell you last week to go back to see your aunt... I'm fine..."
The emotions on the other end seemed to be getting excited again, and they were talking a lot.
"Yang Xu." Sheng Min looked up at Li Xuan and said softly to the other end of the phone, "I know what I'm doing."
After a few more words of comfort, Sheng Min ended the call. Yang Xu was still indignant, and the last sentence he said was: "Brother, you are hopeless!"
This sentence was so loud that Sheng Min knew that Li Xuan must have heard it. The two looked at each other, and the latter laughed at himself: "Yang Xu thinks I'm a liar."
Sheng Min subconsciously wanted to deny it, but after a few thoughts, he turned to: "Then is it you?"
"What do you think?"
"It doesn't matter." Sheng Min shook his head and smiled, leaning against the wall behind him, his drooping hair covering his eyebrows, "I have a lot of good things. You can lie to me for a while... But if one day, you don't want to lie to me anymore..."
"No." Li Xuan interrupted him as he listened to his increasingly serious tone, "I didn't lie to you."
Sheng Min didn't say anything more, and reached out to rub Li Xuan's slightly frowned brows: "I know."
Li Xuan held his hand and wanted to say something, but felt that the words were too weak. Sheng Min didn't mind at all. He put his other hand on his shoulder, leaned in and kissed Li Xuan's eyes, and changed the subject: "Okay, I said the wrong thing. Don't you have to go back to the meeting?"
Li Xuan pursed his lips and didn't answer. Sheng Min shook his arm: "Okay."
"What about you? Do you have work later? Or are you going home directly?"
"I don't have work today," Sheng Min said, "but I have to leave in the evening after recording the show tomorrow."
"Tomorrow? Doesn't one episode take three days to record?"
"The crew has to finish filming the scenes in the mountains before autumn. There will be more rain in autumn, so we can't keep up with the schedule. We have already coordinated with the production team."
Li Xuan hummed, and said nothing more. He held Sheng Min's fingers tightly, as if it was a treasure that satisfied him. Sheng Min's eyes slid across their intertwined fingertips, thought for a moment, and said, "Do you want me to accompany you to the company?"
"Is it convenient?" Li Xuan immediately looked up at him, suppressing the curve of his lips, but his eyebrows were not like that.
"It's okay." Sheng Min shook his hand. "Is it convenient for you?"
"I can do anything." Li Xuan said, and after a second he changed his words, "It's convenient."
After saying that, he coughed pretending to be calm, as if he was afraid that Sheng Min would regret it: "Then let's go."
So they held hands and walked out through the emergency passage, like children lining up after school. When they were almost at the door, Li Xuan stopped and said, "I'll call a car first."
"What?" Sheng Min was stunned.
"There was too much traffic when I came here, so the car was left halfway."
Li Xuan explained, looking at Sheng Min's somewhat surprised expression, and suddenly felt that he had made the right decision.
It is only natural that I should get some reward, Li Xuan thought.
So he turned around and naturally held Sheng Min's shoulders. He leaned closer to him and felt Sheng Min's warm breath on his cheek: "Is it okay?"
"Why didn't you ask just now?"
Sheng Min smiled, raised her arms and put them around his neck, and shared the fourth candy of the day with him in the dimly lit corner behind the door.
When I arrived at the company, the others were already in a meeting. There was no one in the quiet hall, only faint voices coming from the meeting room at the end of the corridor.
"Go to the meeting. I'll wait for you here."
This was Sheng Min's second visit to Li Xuan's office. Except for the pile of documents, there was not much difference from the last time. The only pot of green ivy by the window was growing very lushly, which must have been the work of the cleaning lady.
"Sit on the sofa for a while." Li Xuan said, while sitting at the desk and turning on the computer. Sheng Min thought he was dealing with official business, but when he looked at it, the screen showed posts on various gossip forums about their departure from the airport today.
Li Xuan's fingers flew up and down on the keyboard. The code in the compiler in the upper right corner was output line by line so fast that it was almost impossible to see clearly.
"It's actually okay." Sheng Min looked at his face which was too focused and a little serious. "I just took a quick look at the posts and comments. No one thought about it in this way."
Li Xuan's fingertips did not leave the keyboard. Hearing this, he raised his head and raised his eyebrows: "In what aspect?"
Sheng Min pouted and didn't answer. Li Xuan smiled soothingly: "Okay. It's okay, it will be quick, just sit for a while."
He removed posts that involved the real situation, posted some real and fake information, and selectively left all the comments that speculated that he was a staff member. He directed the fans' attention to the disorderly airport pick-up. He also left monitoring plug-ins on several forums and apps with the largest traffic to prevent future troubles.
It took half an hour to finish. Sheng Min looked at his fingertips which were slightly red from the force he applied. "Does it hurt?"
Li Xuan was stunned for a moment, followed his gaze to his hand, and smiled: "Why does this hurt?"
"It's okay, actually." Sheng Min didn't believe it. She held his fingertips that were trying to retract and blew gently. "I can handle it. I can handle it. If I dare to run with you, I am ready to bear all the consequences."
"But I need to be responsible for what I do, and I also need to be responsible for you."
Li Xuan blurted out, his tone unusually matter-of-fact. Sheng Min was stunned for a moment, and didn't know how to answer.
"I'm going to a meeting." Li Xuan didn't need his answer. He took out his hand and gently touched his face. "The computer password is the same as the notebook. The screen on the right can be put down. You can flip through the books on the bookshelf at will."
"I can't understand your books and papers."
"There's a play script on the left."
Sheng Min looked over and saw Yin Qianpin's complete set of scripts, and even several original works of the TV series he had filmed.
This inevitably reminded Sheng Min of Li Xuan's private reading of "Wei Yang Liu". It felt like it was just yesterday, but it was a long time ago. He couldn't help but lower his head and smile, walked over and picked up a book at random: "You bought them all out of boredom?"
"I bought them all for you."
Li Xuan's tone was quite frank. Although he scratched his forehead a little uncomfortably after he finished speaking, he still looked at Sheng Min, as if waiting for his comments.
Sheng Min was outmaneuvered again and held the book in silence.
"real."
Li Xuan repeated it.
"I heard it." Sheng Min glanced at him helplessly, "That's not what you said."
"That's what I thought."
Sheng Min finally smiled and urged him, “Go quickly.”
Li Xuan looked at his watch and said, "Then I'll go over. If you're bored, read a book. If you're tired, you can take a nap in the lounge... It won't take long, it'll be quick."
"Okay. Go ahead. I'm not a child."
Li Xuan picked up the notebook and walked to the door. He couldn't help but quickly turned back and hugged him: "Wait for me."
Shengmin rested his chin on his shoulder and gently stroked his back: "Wait for you."
