Light In The Deep Alley

Chapter 11

Jiang Ji carried Jiang Bei on his back and walked out of the room, turned off the lights, and locked the door. He walked very fast, and did not slow down even when he was carrying someone on his back.

Qin Qingzhuo was walking behind and saw two pieces of paper on the ground. He bent down to pick them up and saw that there were musical scores on them. They must have fallen there when those debt collectors were rummaging through the room.

Jiang Ji had already gone down the stairs, so Qin Qingzhuo temporarily put away the two pieces of music, thinking of returning them to him later.

Qin Qingzhuo walked out of the bar and saw Jiang Ji was about to walk to the side. He quickened his pace and raised his voice: "Jiang Ji."

Jiang Ji stopped and looked at him. Qin Qingzhuo pointed at the black car parked at the door of the bar: "Here."

"I can take her there." Jiang Ji glanced at Qin Qingzhuo.

"Get in the car," Qin Qingzhuo raised his hand to stop him. Although his tone was gentle, it was irrefutable. "I have other things to talk to you about, you know."

He was hinting at something, and Jiang Ji obviously knew what he wanted to talk about. After a moment of silence, he changed direction.

After walking down a few steps, Qin Qingzhuo opened the car door and helped Jiang Ji put Jiang Bei into the car.

Seeing Jiang Ji also got in the car and closed the door, Qin Qingzhuo walked around and sat in the passenger seat: "Uncle Zhao, find a tertiary hospital nearby."

"Okay." As usual, the driver responded without asking any more questions and started the car.

No one spoke along the way. Qin Qingzhuo rolled up the two pieces of music and held them in his hands. He tapped his palms lightly, thinking about how to deal with this matter.

It is a common tactic of paparazzi to use the private photos taken secretly to ask celebrities for money. This tactic is called public relations but is actually extortion, and it is the behavior that Qin Qingzhuo hates the most.

On the way to Honglu Street, Qin Qingzhuo had already thought of a plan when he closed his eyes to rest. How to get the photos, induce Jiang Ji to tell him the purpose of asking for money, collect evidence step by step, and change from passive to active, all of this has been roughly planned in his mind.

Nineteen years old is an adult, and Qin Qingzhuo must let him know that adults have to pay the price for their mistakes.

However, having just witnessed Jiang Ji being blocked in the room by several burly men, and his skinny and helpless sister being knocked unable to stand up... Qin Qingzhuo's heart softened suddenly.

This softening of heart made things a little tricky.

The hospital the driver was looking for was nearby, and a few minutes later, the car stopped in front of the emergency room.

"Can you walk by yourself?" Qin Qingzhuo heard Jiang Ji in the back row ask Jiang Bei.

"My stomach doesn't hurt anymore." Jiang Bei said this suddenly, and Qin Qingzhuo was a little surprised.

"Now that you're here, isn't it a little late to talk about it now?" Jiang Ji glanced at her, opened the car door, got out, and walked straight to the emergency room.

Jiang Bei also got out of the car, stood beside the car and raised his voice and shouted again: "My stomach doesn't hurt anymore!"

Jiang Ji pretended not to hear and continued walking forward. Now he had turned into the hospital lobby.

Qin Qingzhuo walked over and took Jiang Bei's hand: "Let's go, no matter if it hurts or not, it's better to check it out."

Jiang Ji always walked fast, and he didn't wait for Jiang Bei and Qin Qingzhuo. He didn't even look at the hospital sign, and he looked very familiar with the way. When Qin Qingzhuo and Jiang Bei caught up, Jiang Ji had already registered the emergency number.
