The doorbell rang, Qin Qingzhuo got up from the sofa, Xia Qi's face appeared on the electronic screen, he opened the door and let Xia Qi in.

"I just drove nearby and your call came." Xia Qi said while changing shoes at the entrance.

"What a coincidence," Qin Qingzhuo walked to the refrigerator and poured Xia Qi a glass of orange juice, "Didn't Lao Duan come to pick you up?"

"He's going to hold a music festival recently, and he's busy with work every day, so he doesn't have time to take care of me," Xia Qi took the orange juice, "Thank you. Of course, I can't take care of him either. During work, we are just strangers, and we don't even say hello when we meet at home."

Qin Qingzhuo poured himself another glass of ice water and couldn't help laughing: "I forgot that you two are both workaholics."

"By the way, you want Jiang Ji's information, right?"

"Well, since the program team invited them to participate, they should have done a background check, right?"

"Of course I did. These days, if you run into a bad contestant, the whole show might suffer." Xia Qi lowered her head and found Jiang Ji's information on her phone. "Since you asked for it last minute, I asked a colleague at the company to send it to my phone. I didn't have time to print it out, so I sent it to you."

Qin Qingzhuo looked through the information on Jiang Ji that he received on his phone. This information was much more detailed than the previous paper version. "Did you also do a background check on his high school?"

"Yes, he dropped out of high school, so of course we have to investigate the reason. But we didn't find anything. Apart from the punishment for fighting, he didn't commit any serious mistakes. As for dropping out, he dropped out on his own initiative when he was just a sophomore in high school. He was not expelled from school."

"The results are pretty good." Qin Qingzhuo said as he looked at Jiang Ji's report card.

"I was quite surprised too," Xia Qi said. "I thought he was a hooligans who dropped out of school because he couldn't concentrate on his studies. I heard that he was the captain of the school basketball team in his first year of high school, but he was dismissed because of a fight."

There wasn't much information on Jiang Ji, so Qin Qingzhuo quickly flipped through it. Apart from a few demerits in high school, the information seemed clean and innocent: "No bad habits, either?"

"Bad habits? What kind? Smoking and drinking?"

"No," Qin Qingzhuo said after a pause, "such as gambling or something."

"I haven't heard of it." Xia Qi was stunned. "Why are you suddenly asking about this?"

Qin Qingzhuo shook his head and said nothing. After a while, he asked again, "How did you find the rough cloud?"

"It was recommended by a friend of mine. My friend runs several bars in Yancheng. Knowing that I wanted to do a music program, he recommended the resident singers there to me. At that time, we were not sure whether to do singers or a band. Considering that there were too many programs for singers on the market and their performances were relatively weak, we finally decided to do a band.

"The resident singer recommended by my friend is Jiang Ji. He also happens to have his own band. Although it was formed just to create an atmosphere in the bar and has not been around for long, and they don't have any representative works, when I was interviewing them, I felt that this band had good qualifications, especially Jiang Ji himself. His voice, appearance, and creative ability are all eye-catching, and his temperament is quite special. We originally wanted to promote this band as the main band, and Director Shi even had the idea of signing a contract with them at first, but..." Xia Qi said, sighing.
