Light In The Deep Alley

Chapter 17

Qin Qingzhuo was awakened by the strong sunlight outside the window.

When I opened my eyes, I had a splitting headache, as if the back of my head was being cut back and forth by a very dull saw.

He reached for his phone to check the time, and pressed his thumb on the power button for a while, and the screen showed an icon indicating that it needed to be charged.

Throwing his phone aside, he supported himself on the bed and sat up with some difficulty.

The memory of last night before going to bed is still retained, but from squatting on the street to lying on the bed, I can't remember the coherent picture at all.

I just remember that Jiang Ji seemed to have carried me back, and later we almost had a fight... What was it because of? I can't remember clearly.

How embarrassing... in front of a 19-year-old kid.

Oh, right... Where's Jiang Ji? He seemed to be sleeping next to me last night. Is he up now

After staring at the air for a while, Qin Qingzhuo got out of bed. The dizzy feeling came back, and his headache worsened, accompanied by an unbearable sharp tinnitus.

Walking out of the room, Qin Qingzhuo saw Jiang Ji curled up on the sofa, still sleeping.

Qin Qingzhuo remembered that Jiang Ji was 1.87 meters tall. At the moment, he was curled up on a sofa that was only about 1.5 or 1.6 meters tall, looking very cramped.

Jiang Ji was lying on the sofa with one leg folded and bent, and the other leg even on the ground. It was obvious that he was sleeping very uncomfortably.

The bed is obviously wide enough, why do you want to sleep on the sofa

Qin Qingzhuo wasn't sure if he had a bad sleeping posture last night because he was drunk. In fact, he could drink quite well and he only got drunk a few times as far as he could remember. It was purely an accident that he blacked out last night.

He walked towards Jiang Ji, wanting to wake him up and let him go back to sleep.

As he got closer, his eyes inadvertently swept to a place that was not allowed to be looked at. He quickly looked away, but a thought flashed through his mind - he is still at that age full of vigor and vitality.

Perhaps he heard the noise, before Qin Qingzhuo could make any move, Jiang Ji opened his eyes.

He lowered his eyes and looked at Qin Qingzhuo. There was no sign of sleepiness on his face, but his expression was slightly unhappy. It was unclear whether it was because he did not sleep well or because he was woken up by Qin Qingzhuo.

Qin Qingzhuo was about to speak, but his throat ached like a needle prick, and he was so dry that he could hardly speak. He pointed to the next room, indicating that Jiang Ji could go there to sleep.

Jiang Ji supported himself on the sofa and sat up. I don't know if he understood what he meant. He just reached for the cigarette box and took out a cigarette.

Seeing that he was about to smoke again, Qin Qingzhuo frowned slightly, but said nothing and turned to go to the bathroom.

He was in no mood to care about Jiang Ji. He had a headache, sore throat, tinnitus and brain ringing all at the same time. He didn't feel anything when he just woke up, but now after walking a few steps, a strong sense of discomfort awakened along with his nervous system. The aftereffects of the hangover made him feel extremely uncomfortable, and his stomach was churning and he felt like vomiting.

Qin Qingzhuo leaned over the sink, turned on the faucet, and splashed a few handfuls of cold water on his face, trying to clear his confused mind.

Standing up, he pulled the collar and sniffed it, then frowned. The smell of alcohol on the clothes was not too strong, but it made him feel nauseous, and the feeling of vomiting became stronger.
