Light In The Deep Alley

Chapter 5

The first recorded program was broadcast in three parts, and the performance of the last two parts was neither surprising nor surprising.

The final time for the rehearsal of shooting Rough Cloud was set to be 5pm on Thursday.

On the way to the Rough Cloud rehearsal room, Chen Jia talked to Qin Qingzhuo about the filming process in the program team's car: "I have already told the band in advance that they should be rehearsing in the rehearsal room at this moment. When you arrive, you can go in and say hello to the musicians and just give them a few pointers while they rehearse."

Qin Qingzhuo nodded: "No problem."

"You even prepared a birthday present in advance," Chen Jia glanced at the guitar Qin Qingzhuo brought over and said with a smile, "Brother Qingzhuo, you are so thoughtful. If other bands don't receive any presents later, will they say you are biased?"

Chen Jia as a location director is completely different from Chen Jia as an executive director, and his working state is visibly much more relaxed.

"The production crew intentionally chose to film on the lead singer's birthday, aren't they just trying to see that I'm biased?" Qin Qingzhuo smiled.

Chen Jia smiled so hard that his eyes narrowed: "Brother Qingzhuo, you really know our routine well."

The car stopped at the corner of Honglu Street. Qin Qingzhuo got out of the car and looked around.

Compared to the busy road not far away, this crooked alley seemed a little too quiet. There were several willow trees with thick trunks planted on both sides of the narrow alley. It was late summer, and the cicadas hidden under the lush willow branches were chirping at the top of their lungs.

The few bars along the alley have their doors closed at the moment, resting and waiting for the arrival of nightlife. Because of this, the whole alley seems to be in a dormant silence.

Logically speaking, in such a quiet environment, the sound of the band rehearsal should be quite obvious, but at the moment, not a single rehearsal sound can be heard.

Qin Qingzhuo looked up at the words "Honglu Bar" on the door and thought to himself that the buildings on this street looked quite old, so how could the sound insulation be so good

Chen Jia also noticed something was wrong, and as he walked up the stairs he was still muttering, "What's going on? Did I catch them during their halftime break?"

The glass door was not locked, and Chen Jia pushed it open. Qin Qingzhuo and three cameramen carrying equipment followed him in.

The bar on the first floor was deserted. The decoration was no different from that of an ordinary bar. The stage and the bar were deserted. Qin Qingzhuo followed Chen Jia to the innermost part of the first floor, where there was a dark staircase leading to the second floor.

The moment my feet stepped onto the stairs, a row of warm yellow wall lamps on the wall lit up.

"They said the rehearsal place is on the second floor." Chen Jia said, and walked up quickly, eager to see why the band was not rehearsing.

Qin Qingzhuo followed her up the stairs slowly, looking at the old walls illuminated by the wall lamps, and guessing how many years this bar had been in existence.

When he was still a few steps away from the second floor, he heard Chen Jia's voice ringing upstairs: "Didn't we agree in advance to come to shoot at this time today? Why aren't you rehearsing? Where's Jiang Ji?"

Qin Qingzhuo walked to the second floor. The bassist girl with the princess cut hair was sitting in front of the sofa, concentrating on typing on the keyboard of her laptop. When she saw the program crew coming over, she put down the things in her hands, stood up, and greeted Chen Jia: "Sister Jia, Jiang Ji has something to do and hasn't arrived yet."
