Lost Marriage

Chapter 7

It was a hot day, their skin touching each other, there was a faint scent of perfume and a slightly dry feeling coming from the man. Su Hao took off the hat on her head, revealing her long hair. In the sunlight, her skin was as white as jade. She raised her head, her gaze quickly met Zhou Yang's eyes, then she pushed him away and barely stood still.

Susie was stunned for a second when she saw this, then she quickly stepped forward and pulled Su Hao. Su Hao straightened his clothes and said, "Thank you."

Zhou Yang withdrew his hand, bent down to pick up the hat on the ground, and smiled: "You're welcome."

As he said this, he put the hat on her head, his narrow eyes casually swept across her slender waist, then he picked up two strawberry baskets, took a look, and said, "Mom, you are pretty fast, you picked them with four hands, right?"

"Bah, how can you talk like that." Su Si took Su Hao's hand and followed behind him. Su Hao glanced at the strawberry basket out of the corner of his eye. Sure enough, Su Si had picked a lot of strawberries, filling the entire basket.

In comparison, her basket was pitifully small. Su Hao felt a little embarrassed. Just as she was about to say something, a woman's voice came from not far away.

"Susie! You're stealing my strawberries again!!!"

Turning around, a woman in a cheongsam just got out of the car, leaning against the door, jumping towards this side. Su Qian screamed, hurriedly took two steps, and pushed Zhou Yang's back, "Let's go, hurry up, she found out..."

Zhou Yang sneered and quickened his pace a little. Su Si saw that he was walking too slowly and insisted on pulling Su Hao over. Because there were strawberry gardens on both sides and only a ramp in the middle, Su Hao had no choice but to follow Su Si. She tried to stay away from Zhou Yang as much as possible. In a hurry, the back of her hand rubbed against the man's big hand.

She shrank back, subconsciously rubbed her clothes as if to wipe them clean, and then took Susie's arm.

Zhou Yang saw it.

He raised his eyebrow.

There were two cars parked in front. One was driven by Susie. She opened the door and let Su Hao get in. Susie turned to the driving seat. Amid the sound of Aunt Li jumping up and down not far away, she quickly started the car, reversed it, and drove out. Outside the car window, a tall man walked to the car, put two baskets of strawberries on the back seat, turned around and walked towards the driving seat. He was not in a hurry to leave. He lowered his head to look at his mobile phone for a few times before opening the door and getting in.

After a while, the car followed the BMW in front and arrived at the Zhou family's main residence.

The temperature in the car was completely different from the temperature outside. After enjoying the air conditioning for a while, Susie took Su Hao out of the car and went into the house. The house was very cool. Susie pulled Su Hao to sit on the sofa, put her hat down and spread it out lazily. Su Hao poured her a cup of tea.

Su Hao had heard her mother Cheng Ling talk about her relationship with Su Si before. Su Si had always been a lively person. During college, she and her mother interacted in a way that one was active while the other was quiet. Their personalities complemented each other, and they became best friends. Although their family backgrounds were very different, they were still able to keep in touch.

After all these years, the only friend my mother kept was Susie.

"Hao Hao, you are as pleasant as your mother." Su Si took the cup and took a sip of tea. Su Hao's behavior also reminded her of Cheng Ling.

Su Hao smiled and poured himself a cup of tea. Just as he put it to his lips, Zhou Yang came in with two baskets of strawberries. It was a bit hot, so he tugged at the collar of his shirt and put the basket on the cabinet. He took a cigarette, bit it at an angle, glanced at the two people on the sofa, and said, "I'll go to the study."

"Go ahead." Susie waved.

Su Hao drank tea quietly.

Zhou Yang's figure disappeared at the stairs.

Susie asked Su Hao: "Strawberry, what do you think is a good thing to do?"

Su Hao glanced at the two beautiful baskets, hesitated, and said, "Strawberry cake?"

"Think of another one."

Su Hao thought about it and suddenly thought of a new menu, "Strawberry Pancake?"

"How do you do this?" Susie became interested.

Su Hao looked at the time, stood up and said, "I'll do it, Auntie, you watch."

"good."

Susie stood up and went to get the strawberry basket. The nanny was on holiday today and there was no one at home. Su Hao went into the kitchen and ordered the ingredients to be prepared one by one. Susie prepared them all for Su Hao. Su Hao put on an apron, stood in front of the workbench, cracked an egg, and only needed half an egg liquid.

She has been cooking for a long time and knows how to make all kinds of pastries, so she can handle it very quickly. Susie stood beside her, holding her waist and watching without blinking. Su Hao knew that Susie liked to eat strawberries in addition to lemon chicken feet, so she prepared some strawberry milkshake and explained the steps to her while making it. The two chatted while making it.

There were footsteps on the stairs. The tall man rubbed his brows, walked into the living room, bent down and poured a cup of tea, then unbuttoned his sleeves and fiddled with the triangular succulents on the cabinet with his fingertips. The aroma of tea wafted out. Zhou Yang glanced casually and saw a swaying figure in the kitchen. He looked at it a few more times, then drank the strong tea in one gulp.

The teacup has just been put down.

Susie's voice came from inside: "Hey, hey, hey, Zhou Yang, come in and take these back."

When he turned around, he saw Susie holding something, and all the cake wrappers in the cabinet fell down. Zhou Yang sighed, walked around and headed for the kitchen.

There was a shortage of an oil brush. Susie seldom touched the kitchen, so she searched everywhere. As a result, when she opened the storage cabinet above her head, things fell down. After Zhou Yang came in, he raised his arm with his shirt sleeve rolled up and held it against the cabinet door.

Susie tiptoed and quickly stuffed things in, piled them in, and moved them in, muttering, "This is too messy."

Su Hao's hands were covered in flour and he couldn't help. He just raised his hands and stared blankly, with cake paper all over his face. Zhou Yang saw this and sneered, "You are too stupid."

As he said this, he lifted the cake paper off Su Hao's face, and a little flour got on the corners of her eyes. She blinked, tears in the corners of her eyes, glanced at him, and turned back to continue mixing the flour.

Zhou Yang: “…”
