Chapter 14: The Guardian of Satan (14)

Fanfan feels unprecedentedly powerful, but this power is beyond his ability, because it comes from Satan himself. He felt that the Almighty God was with him. This was the calmest feeling he knew. Even in the face of such an enemy, Fan Fan remained completely confident and calm.

There were several demons running on the footprints like a group of hunting dogs. Fan Fan let his blade fly. The weapon almost moved by himself. Fan Fan let go of his will and let the battle unfold around him. Satan’s Power moves through him.

Fanfan hit several demons—his movements cannot be seen with natural eyes. The wounded devil roared and backed away, while the other devils were thinking about an attempt. Then, just like Fan Fan suddenly appeared in front of them, he disappeared.

At a distance of ten meters from where he slept, Fan Fan appeared in front of Gideon again. "Fan Fan?"

He looked at Gideon, Satan's young priest was looking at him, Fan Fan turned around to look at his demon opponent. He still saw the demon, but they seemed to be looking for him. Fan Fan raised his sword, but the weapon disappeared with his shiny silver and liquid gold armor. He returned to his original place wearing a faded tan shirt and breeches. Gideon jumped next to him and felt Fan Fan's arm to determine if the boy was sick.

Although the priest didn't know, Fan Fan saw the demons chasing Gideon. The horses barked and retreated from the camp, their animal senses made them panic.

There is no time.

"What's wrong?" Gideon asked, still confused.

"We are attacked!"

The first demon rushed over, and his armed forces were ready to kill. Fan Fan tried his best to push Gideon away. The devil flew towards them, slashing with its original blade. Gideon fell to the ground and was dazzled by the boy's violent accusation. There was no danger at that time.

The Devil's Blade easily missed Fan Fan and slammed into their buddy clanking. Fan Fan has seen enough evidence to prove that the devil on this highway can violently flood into the material world and kill. However, as far as he knew, the demon still did not see his physical form.

The demons pounced on Gideon again, trying to destroy the human they could see. Fan Fanxian found him. He grabbed Gideon's shoulder and was about to throw him out again, but the demon had stopped.

"Wait!" Gideon said, his eyes full of unexpected fear. "I can see them!"

Fan Fan was still standing there, startled by his friend's statement. Fanfan began to let go, but Gideon stopped him. "No, wait. Fan Fan, don't let me go. Look at them."

Fan Fan looked at the demons. They looked confused and angry, and searched the camp blindly.

"They don't seem to see or hear any of us," Gideon said. "I can see them when you catch me. Has this happened before?"

Fan Fan remembers the scene when he and Ayspeth escaped from Salem on the night of the massacre. The demons who came from the tree didn't seem to realize their existence. That night, he had been holding his sister tightly, and she held him tightly because they were running for their lives. Fan Fan has no time to consider this matter now. He and Gideon are still standing among the six evil demons, ready to kill them.

The demons picked up stones, sticks, burning embers, and anything they could grasp in the real world, and threw them to every corner of the camp. When a blanket flew towards them, Gideon pulled Van Van over.

"They tried to find us," Gideon said. "If they hit us with something, then it might tell them where we are."

The demons picked up everything they could find and threw them in all directions, burning wood, blankets, limbs, rocks, and dust on the ground, spinning violently like a small tornado. The mare that Whistler and Gideon pieced together, Abigail, ran away into the night as quickly as possible.

The demons gave up their anger when they did not achieve results and retreated to the woods beyond the flames. Fan Fan clutched Gideon tightly, "Before I let you go, let's make sure, okay?"

Gideon happily asked him to do this. If it weren’t for Fanfan, the demons would tear him to pieces and wouldn’t let him see the demons attacking him. They held their breath, waited, and their heart beat faster. , And then Gideon heard something, "Wait..."

From the tree outside their camp, a large brown object rushed towards them. When it ran, they were lazy, "This is a bear!" They shouted in unison.

For a moment, Fan Fan saw ferocious beasts rushing towards them from the darkness. He saw six demons inside the animal, arousing its anger, and the bear ran towards them. "I think it can see us!" Fan Fan said.

Gideon broke free from Fan Fan's hand and threw it at his sword, which was thrown in the camp and was now lying on the ground ten meters away from where they were standing. Fan Fan didn't realize what the pastor was doing. The enraged bear was already on him, and the animal threw itself to a height of nearly nine meters, preparing to knock Fan Fan to the ground with a huge paw.

Fan Fan heard the sound of howling in the air and saw Gideon’s sword passing over his head. It was perfectly inserted into the bear’s chest, just to the left of its breastbone. The big animal grabbed the hilt of the sword and fell. Go down.

Fanfan ran over and caught Gideon again. If they came out of the bear, the devil would be able to see him. However, when these children looked at him, the demons seemed to be trying to get rid of this creature, as if it’s Death temporarily trapped them inside. The demons jumped out of the bear's body and searched briefly before escaping into the darkness.

"Before anything worse happens, let's get out of here," Gideon said. They left the things in the camp and ran into the night. Gideon led the way, and soon they were back on the road. In order to reach another town without horses, it will be a long, long road. But this is much better than waiting for the demons in the camp. Fanfan and Gideon were tired before, and now their blood vessels are full of adrenaline, keeping them active until dawn.

Fanfan and Gideon walked along the road where the moon was shining, and as the wind blew gently towards them, it was right for them to go on their way. They were crawling forward like assassins behind the woods on both sides of the road. They left the voice of an angry demon behind them, but they might still be following.
