Chapter 57: Family

"Well, obviously there is a little devil who helps those who get lost there. Many people go there just to see who that friendly monster is."

I have a feeling, I know who he is. What has he been doing this thousand years? Obviously this is not his job.

"I have a feeling, that is the forest we are looking for" I hissed angrily. "Take me there now! Someone needs a lesson."

Look at this! Those rotten wooden walls, a roof that may collapse at any time, a door that doesn't fit it. I finally went home.

Oh, I really miss this place. Just looking at it is enough to fill my heart with a sense of belonging. But unlike the way trees behave, now is not the time to vent their emotions.

"Mackey! Mackey, you come out right away!" I screamed through the open door, which is still my dilapidated home.

I could hear someone walking cautiously inside, and I knew he was inside.

"So, this is your home?" He asked as he looked around this heaven. ""It looks a bit wrong. I think this is the consequence of your leaving for so long. "

"What are you talking about? Everything is the reason why I left." I told the person with no taste. "Doesn't it feel very comfortable?"

I turned my attention back to my house and opened my eyes angrily. He was there, the big bag of cotton, peeking out his round eyes from the hall. He tilted his head cautiously, his drooping ears throbbing in the air, and then suddenly he was filled with joyful surprise in the air.

"Mistress!" the randomly-stitched rabbit cried out in tears as it flew in the air.

I slapped the soft creature into the ground with a slap, then hit the ground with a powerful explosion, dust and dirt scattered all around us. He tried to crawl out of this little pit, but his really happy cry prevented him from functioning properly. It's really disgusting.

"Mackey, stop now!" I was full of hostility and inserted my hard heels into his soft body.

"I can't help it, Mistress! You've come back after so long! I'm beginning to fear the worst!" He kept crying.

"I didn't come back for you, so stop immediately, otherwise I will tear off your stuffing!"

"Isn't it a bit cruel?" Renn asked loudly. "I'm just excited to see you."

"Who cares? Anyway, he saw that I was upset, he just wanted to be punished." I told my well-informed companion, and when I looked at the disgusting creature, I told my companion. "I guess that's why he keeps showing it, helping those who are lost in the forest, right?"

Mackey began to explain his behavior, but I didn't have the patience to listen, so I kicked him quickly and watched him bounce off the wall of the house and then fell to the ground. Rain just watched Mackey with disgust and continued to express his gratitude happily.

"Mackey!" I screamed again. "Don't dawdle, get my hat and coat! I'm leaving right away!"

"Coming soon, hostess!"

This weird sticky ball came up and hovered around the house looking for what I wanted. When he is annoying, Markey is very reliable.

"What the hell is that?" Yu asked, once Maji disappeared.

"Who, Mackey? He is just my love. He is good at many things, especially when I am dealing with my frustrations. His cheeks are very interesting and can be squeezed and pulled."

"So, did you make him what he is now?" he asked in disgust.

""what? of course not! Do you think I will create that kind of disgusting personality? Torturing a creature who wants to be tortured is not fun at all! He is such a person. "

I couldn't help sighing. In some ways, Maji is very useful, but his size is enough to split people's heads. Nevertheless, he is still a very obedient little thing, as long as he can always get punished afterwards, he will be able to complete most of the tasks effortlessly.

I motioned for Ren to follow me into my previous home.

"Will you be long?" he asked, following me to the front porch.

"Why? You don't look like the kind of person who has a place to go."

"I don't know. I just hope we can do something so that I can continue to travel alone," he muttered, looking at our surroundings. "I'll wait for you outside, if you want to hurry up"

"I don't mind if you wait outside. I believe these trees will be happy to play with you."

""Um? What does it mean?"

Do I have to spell out every word for this stupid idiot leader

"If you think you are safe, just because you were born a man, you just need to know that trees have no preference. They like men and women. But, like I said, if you want to stay here, I won’t mind. of."

The rain gazed eagerly at the trees in front of them, which were now shrouded in an evil darkness. When he retreated to my humble house, he didn't even blink his eyes, nor dared to look away from the new threat he was facing now. Soon after, I followed him and suppressed the smirk caused by his strange behavior.

Ah, now this one really reminds me of the past. Everything is the same as I remember. It looked like Markey had painstakingly saved everything. Unfortunately, I don't have time to recall the past now.

I walked straight into the hall, which contained most of my books and chemistry. I approached a shelf with many bottles of different colors, all of which I had forgotten what they actually had. I think I will take them all away. There is no doubt that I will have many opportunities to test them. Next I walked to my desk and picked up the thick notebook with all my notes written on it. This book covers a variety of topics, such as some of my favorite execution methods, and which chemicals have the most explosive effects. Oh! There is also a chapter on deformation, especially on how to turn my hair into a twisting snake, which always brings a kind of shock. Everything in this leather bound book is awesome!

I can see Ren looking around, not knowing what he should do.

"Just stand here!" I told him angrily. "Take that bag and pack it for me!"

"Sorry, I'm not just some servants who can order food as you like! If you want to pack, pack it yourself. Oh, you better believe that you will be the one with it."

I grabbed the bag angrily and turned my back to the grumpy child. I just want him to hold it while I pack things. This will make things go faster. Besides, once I leave this house and don't even allow Maji to touch the bag, how can Yu think he can

I started stuffing these small bottles into my bag, making sure they were placed there comfortably and there was no room to move. Then I took out my favorite books and put them neatly there. Finally, I grabbed some herbs, rhizomes and anything else that can be used as ingredients to complete my packaging.

I like this bag. No matter what you put in, it will never become heavy. I don't know why he complained about this before. I mean, for any traveling witch, this is very basic. Not only is it weightless, it also becomes impenetrable when the latch is closed. Even if I die, no one can see what's inside.

The rain looked at me curiously, and I put the belt on my head and let the bag hang by my side. Simple fool. I know he was thinking, how could I carry these heavy books with me. I will let him worry about his ignorance and continue to make him believe that my body is stronger than him.

Now, before we leave, I have one more thing to do. I walked to the back wall where the chimney was. There was a shelf above the actual fireplace, and just below that, I pried open a long piece of wood and hid my most precious treasure inside. A small, round, shield-shaped necklace is attached to a long silver necklace, which is inlaid with colorful gems, sparkling and gleaming. I picked up the round object, which was only a little smaller than the palm of my hand, and carefully checked every inch of it to make sure it was not damaged in any way.

"What is this?" The rain ran over my shoulder.

"A necklace. What does it look like?"

"Obvious, but what can it do?"

"Well, you put it on your neck, like this, it sits there." I said as I stated my purpose. He didn't find it funny. I sighed. "This is my greatest achievement."

"What the hell does it do?"

"How do I know?" I answered truthfully. "All I know is that it is an incredibly powerful amulet, and I have spent my entire life on it."

"It sounds like a waste to me." When I looked at him coldly, the rain suddenly became rustling, but immediately shut his mouth.

"I know it has been unleashing some kind of advanced magic. In most cases, I just use it as a generator to give my own magic, but this is only a small part of using its true power."

"But isn't this a bit deceptive? Use a magical object instead of your own power?"

"Bah! You sound like the idiots of those ignorant wizards. They gave people who use magic items a name, false prophet. The witches call them because they think they are gods and only they can use them. Magic. But if you don’t use anything that can be used, you are a fool. If they pick up one or two magic items, it might make things a little more interesting, but no. They decided to stubbornly decay."

"Yes, it sounds like a witch rally, okay." Renn agreed. "So, were you fired for not following their rules? That's why you have a bone to pick them out?" (to be continued) (end of this chapter)
