Chapter 63: Welcome (2)

Views:

When I passed hundreds of people crowded on the street, I noticed that I was attracting a lot of attention. People took a pointed glance, probably because my hair is different from the hair of the rest of them. Yes, I am a very rare beauty, hard to find even in the strangest places, but it is enough for now. I just ignored them and continued my search with a satisfied smile.

I have been searching for about half an hour, but I still haven't found anything. Where did he fall from? I really don't want to fly over the roof to find him. Why does he always make me think he is a trouble

"Mackey!" I screamed and turned around. "Mom-oh, yes."

I sighed. I forgot that I left him. Very good! These are two great pains in me! Why should everyone around me become such a burden

"Mom! She looks like a statue!" a round child shouted loudly, and he pierced me with a plump finger.

"Shhh! It's impolite to point at such a person." A middle-aged woman said, and suddenly, she grabbed her child's wrist.

A statue like me? Maybe the world still remembers the great crimson lily.

"Woman! Please wait a moment for me to ask, forcing my mother to turn around. "What is this statue?"

"Oh, this is just a stupid little thing. I won't worry about this."

"A stupid little thing? Woman, if you want to keep it, you'd better pay attention to your words." I snarled, making the frightened woman pale quickly.

"I'm in the city center."

"Why does it look like me?"

"Because of your hat and fluffy coat."

I see. It must have been created many years ago. I only wear these clothes when I am preparing to fight. They are all enchanted items, the hat is another weaker energy generator, and the coat provides excellent defense with its peculiar characteristics.

""very good. That is all women. Get out of my sight!" I told her with terrifying intensity.

After a second, the woman and her child disappeared, and I left the circle of onlookers surrounding us, determined to find this magical statue. If it's in the center of the city, it's like the woman who claims that it won't be too hard to find. This road is quite wide, which may mean that it is a main street, so I can follow it, hoping it can take me where I want to go. I have to forget about the rain temporarily, and he can come to me.

I walked alone in the dazzling sunlight for several hours. Every place I go looks strange. I don't know how this happened, but I must have left the main road at some point and ended up in the affluent part of the city. I feel a little uncomfortable in this area. I don't like that people value money and property so much, it's too stupid for me. I never needed those things, I have survived for more than 13,000 years, so what does this tell you? Well, I think if they like this kind of thing, then I am not qualified to judge, but I will do it anyway.

If the sun went down as it promised a few hours ago, I might not be frustrated with my current predicament. Not only that, if Renn hadn't disappeared from me, we would be able to find my noble statue faster. I have to get closer, though, every place I go is a new place, which means that in the worst case, I might walk back and forth on these streets. In fact, it is a good sign for me to be in a wealthier area, because generally speaking, the wealthier classes tend to be in the middle rather than on the periphery.

I continued to walk, the pressure of the situation weighing on me like thousands of bricks. If I were an ordinary person, I would have died of exhaustion a long time ago. Listen to me, now I compare myself to human trash! I know what this is. When I haven't done this for a while, I started to have these strange ideas in my mind. I really need to kill something.

I got rid of my fear and raised my head. At moments like this, you really need to maintain a positive attitude. When you find Brady, always thinking about what you want to do to him, before you realize it, you are already there! This is what I have been telling myself for 14,000 years, until I finally stepped out. Oh no! What if I am destined to spend the rest of my life on these streets? Wait a minute, if this is the case, I might really fall into a maze trap, but looking around, I can't see any common signs. No, I did it entirely by myself. I am lost alone, there is no need to blame others.

my words! Can't you listen to me? I sound like a sad good person! There is always someone else to blame! There were also witch gatherings, because he asked me to come to them, rain made me run away, and the poor little Mackey abandoned me. The worst thing is that Brady didn’t even have the courage to step into this poor place. Time to see me! Ah, did you see it? I'm excited again! And it's just time, because I think I might finally find the place I was looking for!

Yes! This must be it! I can see a wide-brimmed hat and a coat that looks like it is made of crow feathers. Of course, everything is made of bronze, obviously to stand the test of time. But there seems to be something wrong with this matter, and I don't care about it at all.

My statue did not stand up. It was bent over, more like kneeling on the ground, with its head pointed to the ground. This in itself was enough to make me furious, but the thing lying there filled me with white-hot anger. My statue is kneeling on another statue, the details are very detailed, down to the folds on the clothes. Another statue stood high, with a hand stretched out to grasp the opening above the chest, wearing this incredibly proud and noble appearance, gazing at the distant horizon.

Does Brady view himself this way? Is his image so stupid when he created this statue? They may be twins! Both of them look so stupid. I couldn't help laughing out a long, condescending laugh.

"What's so funny?" asked the man sitting on the Brady statue. He just read a thick book casually.

"I think you know. That statue is too big for you." I smiled again.

When he closed the book and looked at me with disgusting eyes, the man smiled slightly.

"It's been a while, Lily." He smiled disgustingly.

"Yes, Brady." I agreed, with a vicious smile, screaming how much I longed for blood.

The time I have been waiting for has finally arrived. I will tear him to pieces until his pity finally subsides! (To be continued) (End of this chapter)
