"I don't care about that necklace. You have to do something else for me."
"Oh? It sounds like you need my help." The bastard smirked. "Then why don't you just ask me? Go ahead, beg."
"Is this what you want?"
"Very sure."
"Very good, because I hope things will become like this." I smiled and approached the man who was shrinking.
I let him feel the full impact of my murderous breath, and let him go straight back to the table where he had been sitting before. When I instill fear in others, two things usually happen. First: They realize that they cannot defeat a force far beyond themselves, and then freeze or shut down. Second: They have lost the ability to think directly and cannot understand that their abilities have been severely surpassed, resulting in a temporary lack of all logical reasoning and making them do some stupid things. Azibald showed me the latter.
He screamed and rushed forward. There is no skill in his attempt, just a primitive instinct, which may tell him useful things, such as the blade of a knife that can cut things. His thin sword came down from the top of his head, but when my own blade touched quickly, he was immediately shattered by a bright spark. His sword was broken, and it seemed that Archibald regained some sanity, because he unknowingly saw his blade from me.
"You should just say you will help." As I got closer and closer, I told him.
Archibald's face was pale, because the last thing he saw was my challenge to his broken nose. I grabbed him, threw him on my shoulder, and he immediately fell into my arms. I think I already know, but this man is a poor warrior. I hope, but not true, he is not dead.
I took Archibald out of the tent and re-entered the main tent from behind. I can hear some loud grunts from the main room, because some people have already started to sit down. I found the device I was looking for, separated Archibald's arms and legs, and picked up a sharp tool nearby. Can't wait to take this child for a drive.
"Ah, where am I?" Archibald said sleepily. "Wait! What are you doing?!"
"I'll tell you again. You have to repay us because you stole my things."
"In your dream." He grinned.
"Okay. I think I will like this. Just know that you can stop this behavior at any time and agree to help them."
"Stop what? Hey! Where are you taking me? Hey!" When I tore off a cloak and plugged his mouth with it, the rest of his words were incoherent. I couldn't help laughing.
I pushed the device out from behind, and saw a lot of people applauding and cheering. Just before I reached the slope of the stage, I was stopped by a guy in fancy clothes.
"What's going on?" He asked, looking at me, looking at Archibald, his eyes full of desperate pleading.
"Oh, this is only part of the show. Archibald asked if I would help him."
"Why is he gagged?"
"It's all part of the behavior. You can't reveal too much, you know what's going on." I laughed.
"Well, I see. Who are you?"
"Me? I am Rain of the Wanderer, just an old friend."
"Really? Rain? Wow, I didn't expect to see you in person! Do you mind if I ask what you are performing?" the man asked excitedly. It's always nice to meet a fan.
"Oh, I just want to show off my knife-throwing skills. When I was young, I could take off the wings of flies."
"I can't wait to see it!" he cried, then led me onto the stage and turned to the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen!" The crowd burst into cheers. "We have a special guest to join us tonight! Let us applaud the wanderers!"
I was overwhelmed by the cheers and applause that suddenly burst out around me. Usually, whenever I face a group of people, or even one person, all I get is boos or screams. In fact, this is a refreshing change.
I waved awkwardly to the crowd, then turned to look at Archibald, who was struggling desperately to break free. I have ten knives in my hand. I want to know, how much does it take to get Archibald's consent
"Okay, Archie", I'm just going to throw some knives in your way. Tell me when you are tired?" Archibald just looked at me contemptuously. I didn't expect him to like it.
I grabbed the steering wheel and turned it down with maximum force. When Archibald became blurred, the crowd was amazed and screamed loudly. Fortunately, I now have two eyes, otherwise this might become quite confusing.
I threw my first knife on the round board next to Archibald's neck, leaving a thin scratch, just to make him panic a little. I was the only one who could see where the knife fell, and the crowd could only wait until the wheels stopped turning.
I threw knives one after another, each next to an important point or vein, and each one gently severed my target. I scraped off the top of his scalp with one knife, and the other pierced the fabric between his stretched legs. Soon after the wheels stopped turning, the crowd noticed my absolute skill in every pitching, and the applause and cheers were louder than before.
I waved awkwardly again, and then I walked to the big wheel and turned it upside down, making the dizzy person at a loss.
"Are you ready to do what I said?" I asked.
""All right. I will do it. "He muttered to himself, he might be fainting.
I went to untie him, but the crowd suddenly began to express disapproval loudly.
"One more time! One more time! One more time!" They yelled like being possessed.
"Well, you heard what they said." I told the thief that when I reused his prank, he showed me big eyes of fear.
I have never disappointed my fans!
I turned the steering wheel again.
Archibald and I left the tent together. He doesn't look good at all. His feet could barely support him, causing his body to sway steadily from side to side. I bet that even a breeze can blow this poor fool down.
"Hurry up, okay?" I ordered. "Mary's business is about to end. I want to leave here as soon as possible."
"Who is Mary? The woman whose necklace I stole? I really don't want to fight anymore today"
""No, Mary! She said you grew up together?"
"Oh, no, you are not talking about Marianne! Doctor!" Archibald started suddenly, suddenly in a daze.
"I do think so. She agreed to help me solve a problem."
"We must leave! You can't let her travel with you!"
"why?"
"She is crazy! There is nothing good to travel with her! Let's go, okay? I'll steal everything you want, just leave without her, okay?"
"Sorry, I still need her to treat my colleague. Why are you so opposed to her?"
"Are you kidding? You traveled with her! Don't you realize how crazy she is?"
Whether in terms of language or spirituality, I expressed my reservations to that doctor. Traveling with her for a few days is actually a good pace of change, though, considering how it has been for me lately. I can go with her for a while. However, this guy, he seemed to be ready to do anything in order to leave her. Is this the real way of behaving between friends? I have no experience in this area, but I have a good relationship with Violet and I can spend the rest of my life with her.
"She is not crazy. So far, I haven't encountered any problems."
"Let me guess, you haven't been to any city or town so far, right? Is this the first one?"
"Actually, I met her in a small town. She is about to be executed."
"Look! This is what I said! She is always like this! I don't care what they say about our area, she is in too much trouble, too irresponsible!"
"Your area?" What is he talking about now
"What, didn't she tell you? We are from the south!"
""So what? Does it matter?"
"Don't tell me you haven't heard of the immortal?"
"This is a joke, right?"
"Oh, no, this is true. Our hometown is at the center of all this." He told me smugly, making me want to interrupt his nose again. "We are from an immortal family and everyone is very scared."
"I don't know if everyone is afraid of you or something. You never seem to have done anything to show your immortality." I thought for a while, and said straightforwardly. "Wait, you are not immortal! I broke your nose! Twice!"
"Ah, yes, but do you remember being in the forest? You want to kill me with that huge sword, but you just can't do it!"
Well, this is true. I didn't know how to understand it at the time.
"How did you survive my sword?"
The magician never revealed his secrets. He grinned smugly, but this time I really put my fist on his face.
Archibald knelt on his knees and cried in pain, pinching his nose as carefully as possible.
"Some immortal people." I slapped my nose before grabbing his collar and dragging him down.
immortal. I have had many enemies claiming that they are immortal, but in the end they will only become another red stain. After the first few times, it was fun, but now all it does is as boring entertainment. Although I am still curious how Archibald survived.
"Why?" Archibald asked, because he didn't want to be dragged away. "Why do you keep hitting my nose?"
"Obviously, because I can hurt you there. It's almost a 1-0-1 fight. I've tried to stab you, but it doesn't seem to work, so I can only continue to get you there." To be continued) (End of this chapter)
