Chapter 90: Careless (2)

I looked back at the woman with terrible hair and tights, slowly following us. Since we let her go, her mutation has not stopped once. I know that when most people say they like to exaggerate, this is not one of them. She simply kept sending out strings quickly, which made me wonder if she needed to breathe. She didn't even thank us for letting her get ZìYóu, even though her eyes quickly moved between her long-lost siblings, but quickly returned to this state.

As for the threat just brought to me, I have no doubt that she can fulfill her brother's promise. If the power of fear is any sign, then her power is also dangerous, although I have raised my vigilance now, it may not be that dangerous anymore. Nevertheless, when I still have so many things to do, I don't want to test my mental abilities! At least let me see my favorite witch again, maybe then I will die contentedly. Of course it was after I changed the world.

""No thanks. I won't tell you. It will take too much time and I really can't be disturbed. Let us find it and leave. You really want to go back to other people, don't you?"

""Of course I know! But now I want to know why we should follow you, because we can easily do it on our own!"

"Yes, you can do this, but don't forget that there are a large number of metal creatures crawling on the land after you. How are you going to face these problems alone? Are you going to add everything to the rot? You are so cold, brother." I sneered. These unbreakable family relationships are like this, they don't want to cause unnecessary trouble to each other.

Fear is about to make more noises, but with reservations.

"Oh, if you need a reminder to remind you of the threat, just look at the hill over there." I told him, pointing my finger far away.

Fear followed my fingers and saw the gleaming machine on the four legs in the distance, running straight towards us on the ground. How many such things are there in the old world? No matter how many hundred people I destroy, they always seem to be back in a few hours!

"I don't want to deal with them anymore" I yawned. "However, you can do it yourself. Let me see how capable you are to protect the one you love."

Fear seems worrying, because threats are constantly approaching. He may be thinking about the other three people, how they are now, but they should be fine. The ability to decay is quite capable of taking on these things.

""All right. We will stay until ZìYóu. "Fear is muttering to myself. Music is ringing in my ears.

"Okay, let's speed up." I said, stretching out my arms and turning to the ground in front of us, ignoring the jingle and stomping in the distance.

I stretched my arms to my sides and my palms to the sky, feeling all the pleasant energy flowing through me. At first it was some dust, but over time, they were replaced by large chunks of mud, and quietly rose from the air above our heads. The area affected by this re-gravity greatly expanded until the whole area quietly rose up around us. I set up an obstacle similar to the one above our head to act as a filter, so anything that passes by, if it is not grass or dirt, will be rejected and fall to the ground. It seems to be working, because I can see several skeletons, coins and buried tools returning to the growing pit.

Excavation work will of course take a while, and as time goes by, those stupid machines are approaching us. Even after they drowned in the filter dirt above our heads, this statement is still true. I don't think this is enough to stop them, but my little pursuit of time hasn't even slowed them down. The filtered soil continuously flows through the barrier to those machines, but its effect is as effective as drizzle.

This piece of land has now become a big pit, and the bottom of this pit is getting harder and harder to see. How deep is this necklace buried? Any ordinary person can use his life to find the damn thing, and he will never find it! Fortunately I am an extraordinary person!

Finally, after looking half an hour, I saw something gleaming in the rising mud. My heart rate has increased as expected. I jumped down from a safe place and glided in the air, clutching the round, shield-like pendant on my left hand that was outstretched.

finally! All the hard work finally paid off! I'm so happy that I almost cry! In fact, I have a little bit! If my hands didn't burn that much, it would be perfect. Wait, burn? I looked down at my hand and noticed a little steam rising.

Damn it! I'm such a fool! I should have thought that there would be a curse on this necklace! This is also a curse! I poured so much energy into my hands, but the burning became stronger and stronger. Not only that, I can't even release my grasp now! My fingers are frozen on this damn necklace! As the smartest wizard in this land, how could I be the victim of this obvious curse?!

Burning pain. I couldn't help crying in pain. When I saw my hands stained with deep purple, sweat ran down my face. Another curse? First a burning curse, then a curse, and now a FǔBài curse? What's up? Does Lily do this to all her equipment

FǔBài didn't just stay on my hand, it spread slowly along my skin, infecting my wrist and forearm. Spreading at this speed, I would say that I only have about 7 minutes to be completely swallowed by it. I have only one thing to do.

I acted with the thought planned by my heart, and prepared for the inevitable pain. My right arm seemed to move on its own, because it was raised by itself, and then fell on the shoulder of my cursed arm like a guillotine. My hand pierced through the bones and bones, as if it were butter, splashing a large amount of blood into the darkness below, and followed closely behind my arm as it disappeared into the depths of the abyss. Soon after, I started crying in pain.

I can't breathe, my forehead is soaked in sweat, my teeth are biting together in pain, how I hope this will end. I put my only hand on my wound and screamed again because the gushing blood was evaporated into a column of steam. I removed my hand from the burning wound and breathed a sigh of relief. I hope my body can adapt to only one arm. Hehe, does this give a new meaning to the sentence "spending an arm and a leg", or is it just a re-examination of the original sentence? At least I have paid the price now, and all that remains to be done is to reap the benefits.

The pain has not been relieved, but at least I am safe for the time being. I should stop the curse from spreading, I can't touch my broken arm anymore. It seems that from now on I have to use magic to take it away, when the necklace appeared in front of my eyes, I should do it. Just like a real fool, I will let my greed cloud my judgment, leaving a burning emotion to tear my heart: anger. I was careless about myself, anger at the witch who cursed the necklace, and growing anger at the old world because they sent these inhuman devices to us. I need to do something about this, about the uncontrollable anger that eats up my heart.

I stared at me angrily. Hundreds of troubles were still approaching.

"Enough." I muttered to myself, standing high in the air.

I leaned forward and ran naked towards the center of the crawling metal beast in a high arc in the air. When the machine aimed at me with various weapons, the air was torn apart by the blue beam, although none of them could hit anything except my photo. I slid on every beam, and then dropped to the ground, hitting with my fist first. The impact produced a powerful shock wave, impacting anything nearby, just a prelude to what happened next.

In the second moment when my fist was deeply buried in the hard soil, countless spears were harder than the rock that penetrated the sky and pierced everything on the road. The spear propelled outwards in a circle and was hundreds of meters long. These metal beasts were easily torn apart, many of them were blown to pieces by violent explosions, while a few animals that were generally intact would occasionally tremble, constantly emitting crimson sparks.

I took a deep breath, then jumped back into the sky to see if it caused any damage. Hundreds of metal creatures are no longer moving, which means we are safe for the next few hours. These human creations will not cause serious harm to me, but at least we will not be disturbed for the time being.

I slowly slid back to the place where fear tried to comfort the madness. That woman is crazy, and I doubt that anything he said will affect her. Of course, I may be wrong. I have been skeptical for a while, but is this some kind of trick? I have a tingling feeling that they are plotting to betray me at some point. My guess is that Fear has used his abilities to test the waters, trying to see how much pressure I can bear to collapse. It is only a matter of time before they point the finger at me, I just hope that their use is over at that stage.

As I glided gently in the air, I pointed my palm to the depths of the big pit and called my broken arm back to my side. It took me a while to understand. You would never think that it was mine, because I was covered by that terrible curse and everything. Seeing part of myself in such a sad state, I feel a little sad, but I think this is just the price I have to pay to let future generations know my name. (To be continued) (End of this chapter)
