Aurangzeb not only received the envoy sent by Hai Rufeng, but also sent Haque to visit Hai Rufeng in person.

At the same time, he pretended to resign and return to Beijing, while ordering the assassins hiding in the capital to wait for an opportunity to act. He had led the army in battles for more than ten years and had made great achievements. He knew that once his brother succeeded to the throne, he would definitely not let him go.

He was unwilling to give up the throne, and even more unwilling to be killed. Therefore, over the years, he had been making arrangements all the time, hiding many troops in the capital city of Delhi, just to deal with such sudden changes.

Although this incident came suddenly, he did not hesitate for long. This was not his style of doing things. Once the decision was made, he calmed down and returned to his resolute and cold nature.

It is not enough to have hidden forces in the capital. This time, if we do not take action, we must act with all our might. We must do so in order to quickly capture Delhi and seize the power of the Mughal Empire.

Only in this way can we reduce internal friction to the minimum and quickly rebuild our military to deal with enemies from both the north and the south. Of course, it would be even better if Keri could persuade the Qin people to stop fighting.

Haque, who was highly expected by Aurangzeb, asked Hai Rufeng to dismiss everyone. When there were only two people left in the tent, he said, "Admiral Hai, I, the Mughal, have no grudges against the Qin. My prince also does not want to be an enemy of the Qin. This time, I was sent here with great sincerity, hoping to make peace with the Qin."

Hai Rufeng sent the envoy not to discuss anything with Aurangzeb, but just to add fuel to the fire. However, Aurangzeb's reaction was somewhat beyond his expectations.

Haque's words hit the nail on the head. In his view, the war between the Mughals and the Orit countries was actually just a war between them and the Qin State's agents.

In other words, as long as Qin wanted to, it could end the war at any time. Without Qin's support, the small countries of Otsa would not have the ability to fight to the northern plains. It was fortunate that the Mughals did not attack them.

Therefore, he did not mention the small countries of Orissa at all, but directly expressed his willingness to make peace with the Qin Dynasty.

The Qin Dynasty came all the way to India to support several small countries in Orissa in their war against the Mughals. Was it because they had nothing to do and were bored

Of course not. The reason why Qin did this was nothing more than the motive of profit.

So, as long as the Mughal brings more benefits than Orissa and other countries, will Qin still insist on helping small countries like Orissa

Hai Rufeng said solemnly: "Lord Hake should know. It is not that our Great Qin wants to be an enemy of your country, but your country invaded our Great Qin's vassal states first. All the vassal states of our Great Qin are our Great Qin's subjects, how can we allow others to humiliate them?"

Hak came with a request, so he could only patiently say: "When our Highness led the army to quell the rebellion, Orissa and other countries were not yet vassal states of Qin. If Orissa and other countries had been vassal states of Qin from the beginning, we would not have sent troops to attack them.

Now, we have no intention of being an enemy of the Great Qin. As for the four countries of Orissa, we are willing to recognize their status as vassal states of the Great Qin. We hope that both sides will stop fighting and return to their original borders. We will not invade each other in the future.

In addition, our fourth prince admires Admiral Hai very much and hopes to make friends with him. Moreover, as long as both sides stop fighting, there will be no conflict of interest between our country and your country. We can get along in a friendly manner.

Our fourth prince is willing to persuade His Majesty to trade with your country and give your merchants many preferential policies. We are even willing to hand over Chittagong, the port at the mouth of the Ganges, to your country for management. "

Hai Rufeng listened and smiled faintly. The mouth of the Ganges is located at the top of the Bay of Bengal. Chittagong is in a very good location. It nominally belongs to the territory of the Mughal Empire, but in fact it has long been handed over to the Dutch for management, just like Macau in the past. It was nominally still the territory of the Ming Empire, but it had been leased to others.

Aurangzeb now had a bit of generosity in his heart. Chittagong had been leased out a long time ago anyway, and now he was leasing it to Qin as a favor. If it could get Qin to cease fighting, then it would be worth it, and the Mughal would not lose anything at all.

Such bargaining chips certainly cannot impress Hai Rufeng, but on the other hand, Daqin does not intend to incorporate India into its territory, at least not at present. The wars in the Indochina Peninsula and the South Pacific islands are still in full swing, and it is impossible for Daqin to attack India with all its strength at this time.

As for whether or not India will be colonized in the future, that is not known. It all depends on the will of the emperor in the Daqin Palace in Nanjing.

At least for now, Daqin just wants to balance the forces of various parties in India so as to better exert political influence. It has no intention of destroying the Mughal Empire all at once.

More importantly, Daqin does not want Orissa, Ximeng and other four countries to take advantage of the situation to expand their power. These four vassal states are very obedient now, but if they are allowed to become stronger, who knows whether they will continue to be so obedient.

It was no accident that the Dzungar army suddenly charged into the Indus River Basin. Although Hai Rufeng didn't know that this was something that Emperor Qin Mu was pushing for at home, he knew with a little thought that if it weren't for the support or approval of the Qin Dynasty, the Dzungar would never dare to rashly send tens of thousands of troops into the Indus River Basin, unless they no longer wanted the Yarkand area in southern Xinjiang.

There is another thing that can prove that it was the Qin Dynasty that supported the Junggar tribe behind the scenes, and that is the artillery and thunder bombs. After figuring this out, things become much clearer.

Because they had to negotiate with the Mughals, or to be more precise, with Aurangzeb, the invasion of the Indus River Basin by the Dzungars had to be taken into consideration. This was also an important bargaining chip and of course could not be missed.

"Sir Haque, I would like to know, are these things you said agreed by your Highness the Fourth Prince or by the Mughal Emperor of Delhi?"

Hai Rufeng revealed the secret in one sentence, which made Huck feel a little embarrassed. Some things were really hard to say now.

Hai Rufeng continued, "If there is no answer, how can I know whether Lord Hake can fulfill his promise to me in the future?"

"Admiral Hai, rest assured that our Fourth Prince will fulfill all of his promises to Daqin in the future."

"As the saying goes, words are not enough. Here is a list..." Hai Rufeng said as he picked up the pen and wrote. Hak looked at him in amazement. After Hai Rufeng finished writing, he blew away the ink with his mouth, handed the paper to Hak and said, "Master Hak, take a look. If your Highness the Fourth Prince is really sincere, please sign it."

"this... ... ... "

After Haque brought back the conditions written by Hai Rufeng, Aurangzeb was furious and slashed the table with a knife, cutting off a corner of the table.

"This is simply too much!"

Hak quickly advised: "Your Highness, please calm down. To be honest, Your Highness is just a dismissed prince. If you can't become the emperor of the Mughal Empire, it will be meaningless for you to agree to Hai Rufeng's conditions. If Your Highness becomes the emperor, then what to do at that time will be decided by Your Highness, right? Hai Rufeng is taking advantage of the situation. Your Highness, please be patient and stabilize him first. Everything will be discussed after Your Highness ascends the throne."

"Hmph!" Aurangzeb couldn't help but snorted coldly.

But he also knew that the arrow was on the string and had to be shot. He hurriedly summoned a few of his trusted generals, and after a secret discussion in the big tent, he personally led 10,000 cavalry and set out overnight, rushing towards the capital Delhi.

The Mughal capital of Delhi covers an area of 11 square kilometers. Its streets are crisscrossed, winding and narrow. Various shops and markets are lined up on both sides of the streets. The goods are dazzling, and traditional handicrafts such as inlaid gems and ivory carvings are even more fascinating. Temples and mosques can be seen everywhere, and the Red Fort is in the northeast corner of the city.

The Red Fort is located on the west bank of the Yamuna River. It was designed and built after Shah Jahan moved the capital to Delhi after he was saddened by the sight of his old capital (Agra) following the death of his beloved wife, Taj Mahal.

Construction began in 1638 and was completed in 1647. It mobilized manpower and material resources from across the country, took nearly 10 years, and cost 90 million rupees. It is the largest royal palace in India.

This is a magnificent palace complex built with ochre-red sandstone, in an irregular octagonal shape, 915 meters long from south to north, 548 meters wide from east to west, and 33.5 meters high. The castle is decorated with small towers made of fine white marble, inlaid with gold, diamonds and gems, and later with multi-colored mosaics. Each gem was carefully processed and embedded in the grooves of the marble slab, and finally polished to make it smoother and brighter.

In addition, there are beautiful pavilions, balconies and openwork marble windows on the castle. There are five gates in the castle, two large and three small. The main gate on the west, Lahore Gate, is 12.05 meters high and has an octagonal pointed round building and a watchtower on the gate.

All the inner halls in the Red Fort are built with marble and other precious stones. There are reliefs of flowers and figures on the walls between the columns of the halls, and the hollowed-out window frames of the whole marble are inlaid with various gems, which are brilliant and dazzling.

The audience palace in the fort was where the king personally managed government affairs in the past. It is a palace with three open sides, and only the east wall has colorful patterns inlaid with gems. There is a niche in the center of the palace wall, and in front of it is the king's marble throne, which is about 3 meters high and has reliefs of flowers, birds, trees, etc., with delicate carvings.

This was the heyday of the Mughal Empire. It can be said that this palace was no less magnificent than the Daqin Palace in Nanjing. The entire palace was decorated with gold, diamonds and gems, and was even more luxurious.

That night, Shah Jahan, who had been restless because of the invasion of the Dzungars, was meeting with the emperor in the palace to handle government affairs. Suddenly, he heard the palace servants shouting in panic. He was furious and walked out of the palace to take a look. He was stunned for a moment, but he heard shouts and flames coming from the Lahore Gate, the main gate of the palace.

"Your Majesty! Your Majesty! It's bad... The Crown Prince has started a rebellion and has entered the palace! The rebels have entered the palace..."

"The Crown Prince? Are you saying the Crown Prince is starting a rebellion?"

"Your Majesty... The rebels are all shouting for Your Majesty to give up the throne to the Crown Prince..."
