Crossbones Brock Rumlow looked at Matt below and thought of killing him with a single shot. But he knew that he couldn't kill this annoying agent. Not only would the CIA exert pressure and hold him accountable, but the Green Goblin who came to the door would be far beyond the limit of what SHIELD could handle.
"Finally I found you, Matt!" Thor fell directly from the sky, his feet stomping heavily on the ground. "Take me to see the Green Goblin."
The impact of his landing caused the ground to shake violently, causing Matt to fall flat on his face like a toad.
Thor laughed, helped Matt up, and patted him on the shoulder.
"You are too weak. Why would the Green Goblin choose you as a contact person?"
Matt lost face for no reason and looked a little unhappy.
"You are one of the few who have a terrifying guy like you. As for being a contact person, the most important thing is the brain, the brain!"
After he finished speaking, he looked at the MK2s with SHIELD livery. These SHIELD lackeys were flying above them, looking like they were monitoring them to the very end.
In the past, SHIELD would not act so simply and crudely. After Nick Fury stepped down, their style of action suddenly became radical. Although they did not clash with the CIA, which was gaining momentum, Matt thought it was a matter of time.
The current CIA has no way to deal with these flexible and powerful power armors.
"Are you guys going to follow us all the way like this?"
Thor sat in the passenger seat with some curiosity, and stretched his head to look at the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s rapid response special forces.
"They are not my partners. In a sense, they should be considered competitors."
Matt started the car and raised his eyebrows. A thought suddenly came to his mind: although Nick Fury was difficult to deal with, he had been staying in the position of Director of SHIELD, which might be more beneficial to the CIA.
"Really? Then I'll just say it straight out. They're pretty annoying and give me a bad impression. Do you mind if I teach them a lesson?"
Thor shook the hammer in his hand.
"Of course, please help yourself!"
Matt suddenly began to like this big guy and hoped that he would not be beaten to death by Broly.
As soon as he finished speaking, Thor swung his hammer impatiently. A blazing white lightning as thick as an arm burst out from the hammer, first hitting Crossbones, the leader, and then jumping over the group of quick-reaction special forces like a chain.
There was a burst of fireworks and flashes of lightning, and the MK2 flying in the air fell to the ground like a fly.
Thor was just reckless, but he was not stupid. Although the tone of these SHIELD special forces was good, they were clearly standing ready to take action at any time. He refrained from taking action because of Odin's commission. Now that he knew they had nothing to do with Broly, he immediately taught them a small lesson.
"Hahaha! Well done, buddy. We can get to know each other better. My name is Matt, Matt Graver."
Matt pulled out a bottle of cold beer from the car's refrigerator and handed it to Thor.
"Thor Odinson."
Thor took the beer, tried to open the bottle cap, and took a big gulp.
"Matt, now I know why the Green Goblin chose you as the contact."
Matt was stunned for a moment after hearing Thor's name. He stared at the hammer in Thor's hand, and suddenly an absurd idea arose in his mind.
"What is your relationship with Thor, the god of thunder in Norse mythology?"
He asked cautiously.
After a series of events, Matt's nerves had become strong enough, and he thought he would not be surprised by anything. But the fact that there was a living god sitting in the passenger seat still made him feel like he was in a dream.
"More than a thousand years ago, my father Odin came to Midgard to fight against the frost giants. They invaded Midgard and wanted to plunge the entire land into the Frost Age. Odin completely defeated them and took away their icy treasure chest. I didn't expect you still remember it."
Thor laughed and said that he had always wanted to repeat his father Odin's achievements and defeat the frost giants who had recovered from the shadow of failure. Unfortunately, before he could take action, he was sent to Earth by his father Odin.
Peter Parker, who was lying in the back seat, had woken up from his coma. Listening to the conversation between the two, he was like a husky among a wolf pack, pitiful, weak, and helpless. He could only continue to pretend to be unconscious.
"Kid, get out of the car now that you're awake. Don't play hero games anymore. This world is more dangerous than you think."
Matt parked the car in front of a hospital. He took Peter Parker in the car to guard against the SHIELD's rapid response special forces. Their position was similar to Matt's, doing dirty work for SHIELD. But they were much more ruthless than Matt.
Peter Parker's face flushed red as he opened the car door and walked out. Fortunately, he was wearing a mask so no one could see his expression. He clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and made up his mind to become stronger in the future.
"He is a fighter with great potential, but unfortunately he doesn't have a good teacher to teach him how to fight."
Thor said that he could see the potential in Peter Parker, and he was less contemptuous of the Midgard people.
In the eyes of the Asgardians, the Midgardians are little brothers who always need to be protected under their wings. The Aesir have indeed saved Midgard from dangerous disasters several times.
Thor was rampant in New York City. Although he didn't kill anyone, he had an arrogant mentality of being a savior.
The appearance of Peter Parker shocked him a little. His previous impression began to waver. He thought that the people of Midgard might no longer be as weak as they were a thousand years ago.
"Now, take me to see the Green Goblin."
Thor threw the empty bottle out of the car window, his expression rarely becoming serious. He had always heard Heimdall emphasize how strong Broly was and how difficult it was to defeat him, but he couldn't see it with his own eyes.
As the son of Odin, he has his own pride. He thinks he is not inferior to Broly, and they need to fight to see who is stronger.
"What is your purpose in meeting the Green Goblin? Although Broly is definitely willing to meet you, I still need to confirm the purpose first."
Matt asked.
"For Godzilla, the legendary guardian of the Earth. They were completely extinct before I was born. Odin was worried that its power would be abused."
