The "sky-high-priced" bluefin tuna was produced in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. It weighed an astonishing 278 kilograms, equivalent to 1.2 million yen per kilogram, or about 76,000 yuan.

For seafood lovers, bluefin tuna is definitely a very tempting seafood. Due to the slow growth period and overfishing by humans, the number of bluefin tuna in the world has decreased a lot, and it is even difficult to catch them in some sea areas. Some fishery experts warn that if fishing is not restricted, this fish may face extinction.
