"when-"

The rapid ringing of bells echoed throughout the Wofo Mountain.

The pilgrims and tourists in the temples all hurried out of the temples on the mountain and on the mountainside, and went down the mountain in panic and confusion.

The martial monks in the temple, the elders from each courtyard, and so on, all came out in a hurry.

Even the monks who were in seclusion came out immediately to prepare to meet the enemy.

But soon, those murderous monks returned with bewildered looks on their faces, not knowing what had happened.

The ten great elders of the Jinchan Temple all appeared in the meditation room in the reception room, asking what had happened.

There were several elders who were older than Abbot Ning Yuan. Seeing that there was no invasion by foreign enemies but the bells were still ringing, they could not help but question Ning Yuan.

Ning Yuan took out the half of the sutra and asked the ten elders to circulate it, and then said: "Only by using this method can Master Wukong come out. Only when Master Wukong comes out can this sutra be complete. This is a blessing for our Jinchan Temple and also for the Buddhist sect."

"When Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva practiced the profound Prajnaparamita, he saw that the five aggregates were empty and was able to overcome all suffering..."

A skinny old monk took the rice paper, looked down at a few words, and suddenly his whole body was shocked. He asked in surprise: "Could this be the Buddhist treasure "Heart Sutra" that has been lost in ancient times?"

Another old monk who had just finished reading it, clasped his hands together, lowered his brows and said, "Amitabha, this is the only sentence that was passed down. I thought I would never see it again in this lifetime, but I didn't expect to see it today. Fortunately, fortunately! Ning Yuan, this sutra, the young scholar, and what happened today must not be spread to others."

Ning Yuan lowered his head and said, "Disciple will remember this."

Several old monks passed the book around to one another and could not put it down. They read it over and over again, as if they could not get enough of it.

"What about the young man? Let him write the next chapter as soon as possible?"

An old monk with big ears couldn't wait and was scratching his ears and cheeks anxiously.

Ning Yuan bowed his head and said, "Master, don't worry. Huiming has already gone to invite that young master. But we may not be able to meet the conditions given by that young master."

The big-eared old monk immediately said, "I'll go to the back mountain and use the lion's roar to call for Master Wukong!"

Another old monk immediately said, "No, wait a little longer."

The temple front yard.

Huiming was returning with Luo Qingzhou and his party.

The yard was full of monks. Some had their hands folded and looked kind, while others held sticks and looked aggressive. They were all whispering and no one knew what had happened.

Seeing Huiming bringing back another wave of pilgrims, a middle-aged monk carrying a stick and looking fierce immediately stopped him and said in a gruff voice: "Brother Huiming, why are you still bringing pilgrims up? The bells are ringing so urgently, didn't you hear it?"

Seeing that he was blocking the way, Huiming pushed him and said anxiously, "Brother Huiwu, please get out of the way. Don't scare the distinguished guests. This is the abbot's order."

When these words were spoken, all the monks around were shocked.

The monk named Hui Wu's face changed, and he hurriedly made way and asked, "Is the abbot out of retreat?"

Huiming didn't have time to pay attention to him, and quickly turned around and apologized, "Don't blame me, Master Luo. Please come in. The abbot and the ten elders are waiting in the reception room."

After hearing these words, the monks were even more shocked and looked at the group of people with curiosity and confusion.

The abbot came out, and even the ten elders came out

When Hui Wu heard this, he quickly took a few steps back and immediately put the stick on his shoulder upright on the ground.

Huiming led a group of people into the courtyard.

We walked through several Buddhist temple corridors and headed towards the backyard.

As soon as they turned into a round door, a young monk who was sweeping the floor suddenly asked, "Master Luo, our master often said that there are three realms in life. Do you know which three realms they are?"

Huiming immediately shouted, "Back off!"

The young monk, still holding the broom, stood there, his eyes deep and vicissitudes.

Huiming suddenly realized that he was walking forward, but the scenery in front of him and around him were motionless.

He seemed to be standing still.

Luo Qingzhou and the Qin family members who were following behind all felt the same way.

At this moment, the cicadas suddenly stopped chirping and the sunlight suddenly disappeared.

The wind is silent and the flowers no longer sway.

Luo Qingzhou's eyes fixed, and he immediately answered: "Look at the mountain as a mountain, and look at the water as water; look at the mountain not as a mountain, and look at the water not as water; look at the mountain still as a mountain, and look at the water still as water."

The young monk clasped his hands together, bowed his head and said, "Amitabha, how do you view fame, wealth, power and beauty in this world?"

Luo Qingzhou replied: "The mind is originally unborn, but it comes into being because of the environment. Everything is Dharma, like a dream, an illusion, a bubble, or a shadow. Like dew or lightning..."

Huiming looked at him with bated breath.

At this time, in the meditation room of the reception room, Abbot Ning Yuan and ten elders were standing there with their palms clasped together and their heads lowered.

The entire Zen room was in complete silence.

On a cushion on the ground, a boy only about one meter tall was sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, and Buddha's light was shining around him.

The conversation outside could be heard from his body.

When Luo Qingzhou recited the words "The mind is originally unborn but exists because of the environment. Everything is Dharma, like an illusion, dream, bubble, or shadow. Like dew and lightning", the Buddha's light on the boy became brighter.

Ning Yuan and the ten elders all held their breath, with these words echoing in their minds, their expressions varying.

The young monk asked again: "Since you have this enlightenment, what are you clinging to?"

Luo Qingzhou said: "I am not a saint, I have my own persistence."

The young monk asked again: "What is a saint?"

Luo Qingzhou said: "A sage must understand the truth of heaven and earth, and can spread his grace to educate the masses."

The young monk asked, "Can my Buddha be a saint?"

Luo Qingzhou said: "Buddha is Buddha, and human is human."

The young monk asked, "What is Buddha?"

Luo Qingzhou said: "He is an enlightened person. He can enlighten himself and others. His enlightenment and practice are perfect, so he is called a Buddha."

“What is an awakened person?”

“A person who truly and completely realizes the truth of the universe and life is an all-knowing person who understands the truth of all dharmas.”

"Then what is a human being?"

“Life never stops, and thinking never ends.”

The young monk paused and then asked, "Sir, do you wish to become a Buddha right away, or do you wish to practice and become a saint?"

Luo Qingzhou said: "I am a dull boy, and I cannot give up the seven emotions and six desires of ordinary people. I would rather be an ordinary person."

The young monk suddenly smiled: "Good! Good!"

Then he stood still.

After a moment, he looked confused.

Huiming woke up with a start and said quickly, "Master Luo, please!"

At this time, the surrounding scenery has returned to its original state.

The sound of cicadas could be heard and the wind blew past.

The sun is shining and the flowers are fragrant.

Luo Qingzhou felt as if he was in a dream and followed Huiming out of the reception room.

Huiming said respectfully at the door: "Abbot, elders, Master Luo is here."

An old voice came from inside: "Come in."

Huiming quickly pushed open the door.

Luo Qingzhou supported Miss Qin Er, and walked in with Miss Qin Da and Bailing.

Song Ruyue originally wanted to follow in, but was stopped by Qin Wenzhen who was standing beside her with a glare.

She just listened to the conversation for a long time but didn't understand a word. However, the boy seemed to be very capable and he could talk fluently with the monk. It was quite enjoyable to listen to and she really wanted to listen again.

"Squeak..."

The door closed gently.

The room was dark, with only a few futons on the floor.

Sitting against the wall was a boy in green. The abbot and the others were gone.

When Luo Qingzhou was wondering, an old and distant voice suddenly came from the boy's mouth: "If you can abandon the worldly world and join our Buddhist sect, you will surely ascend to become a Buddha, be immortal, and save all living beings."

Bai Ling immediately stood up and said angrily: "If you want my son-in-law to become a monk, you have to get past me first! If you have the guts, convince me to become a nun first!"

The boy opened his eyes, looked at her, and said gently: "If you are willing to become a Buddha, the flowers in the world will flourish more."

Bai Ling looked confused and asked, "Sir, what does he mean?"

Luo Qingzhou whispered, "He said that you often destroy flowers. As long as you become a nun, no one will destroy flowers anymore, and the flowers in the world will bloom more and more luxuriantly. In short, he said you are a flower thief."

Bailing was immediately furious.

Luo Qingzhou supported Miss Qin Er and walked over. He looked at the boy and said, "Senior, are you Master Wukong? If you can save my fiancée, I am willing to write down the Heart Sutra and eat vegetarian food and chant Buddha for three years."

Miss Qin Er in his arms turned and looked at him.

The boy said in a vicissitudes of life voice: "I am afraid that I will disappoint Master Luo. I am not the Buddha, how can I bring people back to life. Your lady has run out of energy and her body and soul are withered. I am powerless."

When Luo Qingzhou heard this, all the hopes in his heart suddenly sank and vanished into nothing.

The boy continued, "Although I am powerless, I have a method that may be able to save you. However, if you want to do it, I'm afraid it will be difficult."

As soon as these words came out, Luo Qingzhou hurriedly said, "Master, please speak!"

The boy said, "The body and soul need to be saved separately. We need a martial arts expert and a soul cultivator to clear the acupoints for her body and soul, inject vitality into them, and slowly nourish them. This process needs to be done step by step, bit by bit. Because her body and soul are too weak, they can only be nourished and awakened slowly, and we can't rush it. It may take two years at the shortest, or more than ten years, to cure her."

Luo Qingzhou's heart sank, and he said, "But her current body, I'm afraid..."

The boy stretched out his hand, and a seed-like object gleaming with golden light flew up from his palm and flew in front of him. He said, "This is the Buddha's Light Relic, the most precious treasure of my Buddhist sect. Put it in a sachet and hang it on the bedside, or carry it with you. I also have a prescription here, and I don't know if the medicines on it are still available. If Master Luo can find them, let her take them three times a month. With the nourishment of this Buddha's Light Relic, perhaps she can survive for a few more years."

As he spoke, a prescription flew out from his palm.

Luo Qingzhou quickly accepted it and thanked him.

The boy continued, "It says medicinal herbs on the front, and the method of casting a spell to heal is written on the back. Master Luo, what I mean by difficult is not that the medicinal herbs and the method of healing are difficult, but that it is difficult to find a martial arts practitioner and a soul cultivator. A martial arts practitioner must at least be close to the realm of a martial god, and a soul cultivator must be at the realm of a Yang God. Only in this way can it be effective."

"Martial God? Yang God?"

Luo Qingzhou frowned and said, "Master, is there such a master in this world?"

The boy was silent for a moment, then said, "Of course there are, but... it's hard to find them, and even harder to get them to help. This kind of life-changing treatment method will increase the difficulty of their thunder tribulation and bottleneck. For masters of that level, the difficulty of the first line may be fatal."

Luo Qingzhou looked at the Buddha's relic and medicine list in his hand and fell into deep thought.

The boy closed his eyes and said in a vicissitudes of life voice: "Master Luo, you don't need to leave the remaining half of the Heart Sutra. After all, I can't help you much."

Luo Qingzhou felt heavy in his heart. Seeing that he had closed his eyes and was speechless, he bowed his head again to thank him, then supported Miss Qin Er and walked towards the door.

The boy suddenly opened his eyes again and said, "Master Luo, you actually do have hope."

Luo Qingzhou turned around and looked at him.

The boy didn't say anything else and closed his eyes again.

Miss Qin looked at him.

In the courtyard outside the house, the abbots Master Ningyuan and Master Moming were waiting for him quietly.
