Not For You to Bite

Chapter 11

Zhuang Xinchun froze at the door of Class 2, looking at Chi Le and Sheng Zhuo in the classroom in disbelief. The morning sun shone on them. One of them was sitting, and the other was standing. Both of them had smiles in their eyes that could not be concealed. However, he was very far away from them and could not hear what they said at all.

Zhuang Xinchun frowned, his expression gloomy. It had only been half a month since he left school, but the relationship between Chi Le and Sheng Zhuo seemed to have changed drastically. At least in the past, Chi Le would never stand in front of Sheng Zhuo so calmly.

Zhuang Xinchun stared at Sheng Zhuo for a while, then walked back to the next class three with a gloomy face. He was completely different from his usual gentleness and kindness, and even ignored the classmates who greeted him along the way.

Because Sheng Zhuo agreed to teach him, Chi Le was very happy the whole day and even recited the text louder than usual.

Sheng Zhuo listened carefully for a while and found that Chi Le was actually quite fast at memorizing things.

Sheng Zhuo has moved here for some time. From what he has observed, Chi Le usually listens attentively in class, has a good attitude, and works very hard. He even carries a whole bag of books home to review after school. However, Chi Le's grades have always been mediocre, and Sheng Zhuo always finds it a bit strange.

As soon as the school bell rang, Chi Le grabbed Sheng Zhuo and ran out of the school gate. He was especially kind and helped Sheng Zhuo carry his schoolbag, for he was afraid that the "master" he had finally got would fly away.

Encouraged by Zhuang Xinchun, Fang Younian originally wanted to ask Sheng Zhuo to welcome Zhuang Xinchun after school and have a meal together. However, when he arrived at the door of Class 2, he saw Chi Le and Sheng Zhuo passing by like a gust of wind. He only had time to blink before they ran down the stairs.

He opened his mouth and looked back. Zhuang Xinchun's face had turned as black as ash at the bottom of a pot.

Fang Younian didn't know what Zhuang Xinchun was thinking, so he just patted him on the shoulder and said with a smile: "It seems that Sheng Zhuo doesn't have time, so let's go by ourselves?"

Zhuang Xinchun managed to force out a smile, and showed an embarrassment to Fang Younian and the classmates following behind them, "I suddenly remembered that my mother asked me to go home early tonight. It seems that my grandma is not feeling well..."

Everyone hurriedly said, "Then you should go back quickly, we will meet again another day."

Fang Younian looked at Zhuang Xinchun in slight surprise. Didn't he just take the initiative to talk to him about getting together and even asked him to bring his friends from the next class along? Why did he suddenly change his mind

Chi Le did not let go of Sheng Zhuo's hand all the way, and took him across the playground as if no one was around. The classmates along the way looked at them curiously. Only after Sheng Zhuo got in the car with him did Chi Le feel relieved, sure that Sheng Zhuo would not go back on his word.

Uncle Li looked back at them and asked with a smile, "Where are you going, young master and classmate?"

He saw it clearly just now. His young master was holding the hand of his little classmate, and the little classmate also let the young master hold his hand!

Chi Le thought about it carefully and decided to let Uncle Li take them to the basketball court they went to last time. After all, although it was a bit shabby, it was quiet enough. There were usually not many people around, so he didn't have to fight for the basketball court, and he wouldn't be watched by others. It was just right for Chi Le's current level, and he didn't have to worry about being laughed at.

Chi Le was in high spirits all the way and kept talking. Sheng Zhuo listened silently and responded from time to time. He noticed the ambiguous look in Uncle Li's eyes and found it a little funny, so he did not remind Chi Le that his driver might have misunderstood.
