Not For You to Bite

Chapter 13

During lunch break, Chi Le went to the cafeteria to eat. He finally got his favorite braised spareribs and smiled contentedly. The cafeteria aunt saw how cute he was smiling and tilted her spoon, causing a piece of spareribs to fall off. The smile on Chi Le's face instantly became even bigger and he thanked the aunt sweetly.

He came to the table with the food tray and suddenly remembered that he had a few questions about playing basketball that he wanted to ask Sheng Zhuo, so he turned around to look for him. Seeing Sheng Zhuo sitting in the front left, he walked over with the food tray and sat opposite Sheng Zhuo.

The classmates around them were all shocked, and even students from other classes looked over at them. No one understood what these two big guys had gone through to suddenly change so quickly that they could even sit together for dinner.

Sheng Zhuo raised his head and glanced at Chi Le, then raised the corner of his mouth slightly, "Are you here to bring warmth again?"

Chi Le smiled broadly and said, "I have a question for you."

Jian Cheng sat down with Chi Le, rolled his eyes speechlessly, and lowered his head to eat.

Sheng Zhuo glanced at Jian Cheng and asked Chi Le, "Do you have any questions for me?"

Chi Le picked up a piece of pork ribs and put it on his plate in a flattering manner, "I have a few questions about basketball that I want to ask you."

Chi Le thought that he was not the kind of person who would forget his friends for the sake of beauty, so after picking up a piece of pork ribs for his wife, he also picked up a piece for Jian Cheng. Thinking of how hard Jian Cheng had been working recently, he picked up another piece for her.

Jian Cheng was so moved that she almost hugged him and called him daddy.

Chi Le was feeling very happy, but when he looked up, he met Sheng Zhuo's slightly gloomy gaze. Sheng Zhuo was staring at the extra piece of pork ribs on Jian Cheng's plate, and his eyes were full of resentment when he looked at Chi Le.

Chi Le: “…”

His hands shook, and he picked up another piece of pork ribs and carefully placed it on the plate.

Although Sheng Zhuo was still not very satisfied with the fact that he had the same amount as Jian Cheng, he finally stopped glaring at him.

Chi Le stared at the empty plate, wanting to cry but unable to. He only had five ribs in total, and now there was only one left!

Fang Younian came back with a tray of food and saw Chi Le and Sheng Zhuo sitting together. His hand slipped and he almost dropped the plate. Fortunately, Chen Yunzhou next to him was able to move out of the way in time and helped him hold it up, otherwise he would have missed his lunch today.

He walked over with a sullen face. Chi Le and Sheng Zhuo were talking so intently that no one noticed him.

He put down the plate in his hand heavily, trying to attract their attention, and turned to ask Sheng Zhuo, "Do you agree that he should sit here?"

Sheng Zhuo said "hmm" and continued to explain to Chi Le. Chi Le simply ignored Fang Younian's existence and didn't even look at him.

Sheng Zhuo looked nonchalant, so Fang Younian could only swallow the questions he wanted to ask and sit down to eat his meal.

Chen Yunzhou was watching from the side and was laughing so hard that he almost spit out his food. Jian Cheng moved aside in disgust.

Sheng Zhuo and Chi Le were still talking to themselves, ignoring everyone's surprised looks and the cold atmosphere around them, and continued chatting.

Chi Le ate the only piece of pork ribs carefully and said seriously, "I think there is something wrong with the way I jump. I can never jump as high as you."

Sheng Zhuo raised his eyes, "Is it possible that your legs are not as long as mine?"
