Returning to the Mysterious Era

Chapter 27: 027 Obsessed with antiques

He glanced ahead and saw that there was nothing unusual about Tifa who was punching. The obsession with the antique should have nothing to do with her.

Kaxiu walked a few steps to the right and quickly glanced outside. He immediately spotted Phil and Milo standing not far from the entrance of the hall. "Could it be them?"

As if noticing Kaxiu's gaze, Milofil turned his head and pretended to watch the student on his right hitting the sandbag.

"Coach, are my movements like this standard?" Tifa's voice came from the side, crisp but slightly hoarse.

Kaxiu turned around and said, "Sure, but the range of motion should be a little bigger so that the muscle strength can be fully exerted."

"Is that so?" Tifa demonstrated it again.

"Well, that's good. You practice like this first, I'm going to the bathroom. Don't be lazy." After giving the instructions, Kaxiu left.

In the compartment on the left, only Tifa was practicing boxing.

As soon as he walked out of the compartment, Kaxiu felt the bitter taste in his mouth become stronger. If compared with the wind ivory pendant he felt in the ruins, the bitterness now is about one tenth.

But this is something that the human body can clearly feel.

He took a few more steps toward the door, and the bitter taste became stronger. Kaxiu was sure that the two young men in front of him had obsessive antiques.

In the hallway, Phil and Milo were getting a little nervous. Coach Levi came over and probably noticed that they were peeking.

Phil scratched his back and was about to speak.

Unexpectedly, Kaxiu, who was walking quickly, spoke first.

"Are you two here to learn boxing at the Gray Seal Martial Arts School?"

"Ah?" Phil was stunned for a moment, then nodded. "Yes, Coach Levi, I'm here to learn martial arts. I just saw you sparring with Coach Kosia, so I went to the front desk to make an appointment for a class tomorrow at 6pm. You are currently teaching Senior Sister Tifa from our school's fighting club, so I came to take a look..."

"So that's how it is." Kaxiu stood still: "Since they are all my students, why don't you come over and take a look and get familiar with them. See how your sister Tifa practices fighting skills?"

When Phil heard this, he readily agreed. Milo beside him touched his arm and whispered.

"Phil, I don't have an appointment. How about I wait outside or just go home?" Milo turned his head away.

"It's okay, go to the front desk later and I'll make an appointment for you for the day after tomorrow. I'll also make an appointment for a few days later. Come and keep me company then. It'll be a bit awkward for me to be alone." Phil followed behind Cassu and whispered to Milo with his head down.

"Why would a kendo practitioner like me learn martial arts?" Milo's face was filled with black lines: "You want to use me as your wingman, but I can't..."

"One month of dinner."

"You're really good at judging people!" Milo's face lit up instantly. He stretched out his right hand and shook Phil's hand vigorously: "Deal!"

"It turns out these two guys are here to pick up girls..."

Kaxiu, who was walking in front, had sharp hearing. Although Phil and Milo spoke in low voices, he basically heard everything.

Ten minutes later, on the left side of the hall.

The evening sun turned into yellow blocks of light, shining through the window glass in a grid pattern on the ground. Two shadows, one tall and one short, gradually lengthened. In the corner, there were two young men sitting cross-legged.

"I told you yesterday that you should not go beyond the rules when fighting. You are here to perfect your basics, not to learn a few useful techniques for a short period of time like others. As long as the basics are laid, the rest will follow naturally."

Kaxiu glanced out the window. He had learned a lot of modern fighting knowledge in the past ten days, and with the double training memory in his mind, it would be no problem for him to teach a non-professional student.

"However, I can demonstrate the burst technique first."

He looked at Tifa across from him and said, "Call me."

"Yes." Tifa immediately assumed a basic fighting posture with her feet apart, one in front and one behind, which was best for exerting force.

She took a deep breath and rushed over.

He twisted his waist and shoulders, and his arm hit Kaxiu's right shoulder. The punch was not slow, at least Firmiro didn't see it clearly.

whoosh!

Suddenly a black shadow flashed in the air.

"ah!"

Tifa cried out in pain, her eyebrows knitted tightly, and she stepped back four or five steps in succession, pressing her left shoulder quickly with her right hand.

Waves of tingling sensations spread from the joints to the brain.

She raised her head and looked across.

Coach Levi was still standing there, with one arm raised in the air with his five fingers clasped together to form a cone.

It was this fingertip that pecked at her joints just now.

"When did Coach Levi throw the punch?" Tifa thought about the scene just now. There was no sign of the punch at all.

"So amazing..." Phil, who was sitting in the corner, glanced back and forth and sniffed. He remembered his original intention of coming to the Gray Seal Martial Arts School: to learn explosive techniques and enhance fighting ability.

In the following time, Kashu taught, Tifa studied, and Firmillo watched. The sky outside gradually darkened.

Edelweiss Middle School finishes school at 3:30 in the afternoon, so students have plenty of time to participate in club activities. It is now past five in the afternoon, the clouds are red and the sunset is gradually falling towards the horizon.

“Huff…Huff…Huff…”

Tifa was panting heavily, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Fighting movements consume a lot of physical energy.

"Okay, let's stop here for today." Kaxiu opened the window, glanced at Firmiro and the other man who were staring at him in the corner, and then asked, "Have you had dinner?"

"No." Tifa wiped the sweat from her snow-white collar.

"No." Phil raised his head and said decisively.

"? Then what did we just eat?" Milo's eyes widened. He turned back to look at Phil, and Phil also turned back to look at him. Milo coughed twice: "Nothing."

"Okay, it's my treat, let's go."

After dinner, Kashu learned some information about Milo and Phil, and their relationship became closer. Mainly because of Tifa's presence, Phil seemed particularly straightforward. When Kashu started talking, Phil would continue to talk.

At this point, Kaxiu was sure that the person who was obsessed with antiques was Phil. His brother Matthew had collected a batch of antiques not long ago and gave Phil a purple wood cane to play with.

This is also the only antique Phil has come into contact with recently.

I don’t know if it’s to show off or to demonstrate magnanimity.

After Kaxiu said that he was an antique lover and tried to ask, "Can you let me see the cane?" Phil actually said that he would bring the cane to Kaxiu tomorrow and book a course for a month.

Was it to pick up girls? Or was he really attracted by the fighting skills just now? Did he want to show his sincerity and become his disciple

Kaxiu had no idea about this.

But if someone delivered the antique he was obsessed with directly to his doorstep, he would of course be more than happy to receive it, and any intentions were secondary.

"Okay, thank you for your help, Phil."
