The cold light in the room shone on Duan Jiaxu's face, making his features clear and distinct. His eyes were drooping, and his thick and long eyelashes made his brown eyes look even deeper, with a fragmented light.
Duan Jiaxu was still staring at her, without any sense of oppression. He was always very patient, not rushing her, nor showing any sign of anxiety, quietly waiting for her answer.
At this juncture, Sang Chi inexplicably recalled the scene when she first met him.
He sat crookedly on the sofa, his expression indifferent and playful. He just smiled at her extremely outrageous speculation and nonchalantly agreed with her, "It's okay as long as it looks good."
After so many years, he has grown so much older.
But it seems that there hasn't been much change.
He just became more mature, but still the same look she liked.
She was in a trance and suddenly had the illusion that time was actually waiting for people.
One of them was standing and the other was sitting.
After only a dozen seconds, Sang Chi suddenly came back to her senses. Her voice was trembling slightly, but she still pretended to be calm and asked, "Is this what I understand?"
"Hmm." Duan Jiaxu took back his hand and licked the chocolate sauce on his fingertips. "There is a second meaning to this sentence."
Sang Zhi was silent for a moment, then asked softly, "Didn't you say I was a child?"
"If you want," Duan Jiaxu curved his lips with a faint smile in his words, "I can still call you that when you are ninety years old."
"Sang Chi lowered her eyes and continued to eat the cake.
"It's just a name." Duan Jiaxu smiled and spoke slowly, "Otherwise, if you call me brother, you really treat me as your own brother."
Sang Chi felt a little awkward and deliberately went against him, "I just treat you as my own brother."
"Is that so?" Duan Jiaxu glanced at her, but did not expose her. He said in a negotiating tone, "Then brother will turn over a new leaf in 15 years and stop being a human being. Is that ok?"
""
Duan Jiaxu added nonchalantly, "Become a beast instead."
Sang Zhi coughed twice and couldn't help but say, "It's not that serious."
"Then give me an answer, okay?" Duan Jiaxu tapped his fingertips on the table, his tone a little casual, "If you don't tell me, I'll be so nervous that I can't breathe."
I didn't see you nervous either.
Sang Chi muttered to himself.
"How can someone chase someone else?" Sang Chi thought about it and couldn't help complaining, "You come to ask first if I can chase you."
"If I didn't ask," Duan Jiaxu pulled a chair and sat down next to her, "wouldn't you just treat those things as the care of your elders?"
Silence for three seconds.
"It's up to you then." Sang Chi looked away, pretending to be indifferent, "This is your business, I have no right to interfere."
Duan Jiaxu laughed softly, "Do you have that intention towards me?"
Thinking about Ning Wei's words, Sang Zhi denied it very seriously, "No."
After a few seconds, she was afraid of dampening his enthusiasm, so she deliberately added, "But if you pursue me for a while, I might get it."
After saying that, Sang Chi raised his head and glanced in the direction of Duan Jiaxu.
"Okay." Duan Jiaxu propped up his face with one hand and asked, "But can you give me a spoiler first? How long will it take me to chase it?"
