"I'm really not young anymore," Duan Jiaxu didn't mind her words and said calmly, "Then please have pity on me."
Sang Chi looked up at him, with a serious expression, and replied in a gentle voice, "I'll think about it."
It was just a joke, Duan Jiaxu didn't take it too seriously. He pinched Sang Zhi's face, checked the time, and asked, "Where else do you want to go? Do you want to watch a movie?"
After thinking for a few seconds, Sang Chi shook his head.
Duan Jiaxu said patiently, "Then I'll take you back to the dormitory."
Sang Chi was still standing there, her lips covered by the scarf, her eyes looked round and big, staring straight at him. She sniffed and suddenly made a request, "I want you to carry me on your back."
"I can't walk anymore," Duan Jiaxu said as he turned his back and squatted down, "Come up."
Sang Zhi leaned forward and hooked her hands around his neck. The next moment, Duan Jiaxu stood up and said from the front, close at hand, with a hint of doubt, "You really didn't drink much."
"Less than half a cup." Sang Chi felt nothing except a little flush on her face. She rested her chin on the crook of his neck and said seriously, "It's just like drinking Coke."
Duan Jiaxu: "Then drink Coke next time."
Walked for a while.
Following this angle, Sang Chi stared at half of his profile and asked, "Am I very heavy?"
Duan Jiaxu: "No."
Sang Chi was a little dissatisfied, "Why didn't you say anything? Why are you so gentle?"
Duan Jiaxu paused and laughed, "I didn't think it through."
Soon, he obediently replied, "Why are you so light?"
"I'm still relatively heavy today." Sang Zhi said, "This down jacket I'm wearing weighs 80 kilograms. If I take it off, I'll be like air on your back."
Duan Jiaxu suppressed his laughter and said, "It's almost the same now."
Walked a little further.
Sang Zhi called him "Duan Jiaxu."
"Um"
"I submitted my work today." Sang Chi told him about today's events, muttering, "It's about the competition I've been working on recently. I've been revising the draft every day. I'm almost sick of it."
Duan Jiaxu asked, "Has it passed?"
"Yeah." Sang Chi said, "But the results won't come out so soon. We probably have to wait until next semester."
"Then take a break during this time."
"I want to win a prize. I heard from them that this competition is very valuable and many big companies will come during the awards ceremony. Maybe I'll be chosen." Sang Chi muttered, "Then my life after graduation will be bright, working from nine to five and earning over ten thousand yuan a month."
Duan Jiaxu: "I don't plan to go to graduate school"
"Let's not read it." Sang Chi's tone was a little depressed, "But I think I will definitely not win the award. There are too many talented people. I feel like my painting looks like shit."
Hearing this, Duan Jiaxu turned around and looked at her, "Little girl, please speak more politely."
Sang Chi raised her eyes and met his gaze. She blinked, moved closer, and leaned forward to kiss his cheek. Seeing him startled, she curled the corners of her mouth and kissed him again.
"You're also using the beauty trap?" Duan Jiaxu frowned slightly and asked with a low smile, "Is it affecting your performance if I carry you on my back?"
"A little bit." Sang Zhi just realized that he had been carrying her on his back for quite some time. "Are you tired? Or I'd better get off. You don't have to carry me anymore."
