Chapter 459: The combat power of the phantom puppet

Views:

Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's masterpieces. It was created in 1606 and is one of the most classic tragedies in Shakespeare's and even the entire European literary works.

With the protagonist of the book, the usurper and tyrant Macbeth, appearing on the stage, each of Shakespeare's classic characters is integrated with the puppet one by one.

There are protagonists who are recognized as the "Four Great Tragedies" in the 19th century, there are also protagonists who are equally popular even though they have not been given various titles, and there are vivid supporting characters who are active in each work.

Of course, Shakespeare created many more classic characters in his lifetime. However, these were phantom puppets that were to be deployed on the battlefield as combat power, so characters with insufficient combat power naturally could not appear.

About fifteen minutes later, the treasure that was sublimated from the First Folio disappeared. At the same time, more than a dozen puppets in the King's Room all stood up, giving the impression of a riot of demons.

Fortunately, with Shakespeare around, these phantoms who got the bodies were relatively honest and didn't do anything excessive.

The creator of these phantoms glanced at the puppets in front of him one by one, like a general reviewing his soldiers, or like a father looking at his children.

Finally, he said to the three warrior followers who stepped aside and left the stage: "The warrior praised in the Iliad, the huntress who shot the Calydonian boar, and the hero of the Mahabharata, who of you will take the test?"

"Let me do it."

The most warlike Achilles took the lead. He clenched his fists and rushed towards Macbeth, who was born first.

Facing the attack of the most outstanding hero in ancient Greece, Macbeth, wearing the most gorgeous armor, did not dodge. He raised his shield and shouted confidently:

"No one born of woman can hurt me, just as you can't hurt the air—"

Before he could finish his words, he was knocked out by Achilles' punch, and at the same time another sentence came.

"My mother is a goddess!"

As Macbeth said, he is protected by the magic of life, and anyone who gives birth (normally) to a woman cannot harm him (in the end, he died at the hands of Macduff, who was born by caesarean section). This setting has also been sublimated into a treasure - yes, the phantom also has a treasure, but because of the problem of the spiritual base, the effect will be greatly discounted.

However, no matter how powerful this protection was, it had no effect on Achilles because Achilles' mother Thetis was not a woman but a goddess.

After knocking Macbeth away with one punch, Achilles shook his wrist in disappointment: "My strength is so-so, but my brain is not very good."

"Well, it's just a phantom after all. We can't hold it to the same standards as a heroic spirit." On the contrary, Shirou was very satisfied.

"That's right." Achilles thought for a while, holding his chest, and nodded. "I'm already surprised that the guy who plays with the pen can make something like this. I underestimated you before. I'm sorry."

Shakespeare laughed out loud at his outspoken and bold character: "This is not the credit of me alone - one person is not enough to be your opponent, how about a few more?"

"No problem, come on together." Achilles made a white hook to all the phantoms.

The two closest to Achilles immediately moved, one of them brandished a sword and proudly declared: "I am Prince Hamlet!"

The other man made the same gesture, but his voice was gentler: "Romeo."

Two long swords, one on the left and one on the right, double-teamed Achilles.

"Good, good, that's right." Achilles didn't need to use his immortal body to take advantage of the phantom. He stretched out his right hand and materialized the javelin he got from his father Peleus. The tip of the javelin knocked away Hamlet's sword, and the butt of the javelin swept across to knock Romeo back.

As soon as Romeo stepped back, someone else immediately took his place.

An arrow tore through the air, making a shrill scream.

"The bow is bent and drawn. Be careful to avoid the arrows."

The puppet wearing a crown bends the bow and shoots arrows, and his voice sounds old and crazy.

Achilles grabbed the arrow with his left hand, broke it easily, turned around and asked: "Who is this?"

"King Lear," Shakespeare replied with a smile, "Be careful, Oberon and the witches are about to attack too."

Oberon, the Elf King in A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of Shakespeare's four great comedies, used a potion he used to humiliate his queen, causing her to fall in love with a donkey.

There are three witches, who are important characters in Macbeth. It is they who aroused Macbeth's ambition and provided various conveniences for Macbeth to usurp the throne.

These four were all magician-type phantoms, and Semiramis had used different materials than warrior-type puppets when making puppets for them, and the end result was that each of the four could easily outclass modern magicians.

Achilles' C-level magic resistance was also easily broken by the four magicians. Of course, it was impossible to break through the immortal body burned by the skyfire. Because of this, Shakespeare had no scruples to let the phantoms besiege him. Anyway, they couldn't hurt him, so he could test him to his heart's content. Semiramis also manipulated the space in time, creating a space in the king's room for the phantoms and Achilles to fight without interference.

The fight lasted from midnight to dawn, and in the end, Achilles won without any injuries. However, Achilles also used all the treasures except the chariot, which was enough to show how powerful the phantoms were.

Atalanta said: With so many phantoms attacking her at the same time, she could only fight and retreat.

Karna also gave his own evaluation: Even if the consumption of magic power is ignored, it will take a long time to resolve the situation by using anti-military treasures.

Think about it, there are close and long range, physical and magic, healers, tanks, assistants and DPS, which is the standard configuration for group boss killing. Except for Karna and Achilles who are too high level and have cheats, other BOSS can be killed.

"As for Archer's concerns, I guarantee that Saber will not be absent. Since the Black Lancer is King Arthur, she will never miss the opportunity for such a duel."

"Wait, Master, the Black Lancer is King Arthur?"

Semiramis looked at her Master in surprise, and the latter scratched his cheek.

"Yeah, oh, I almost forgot to tell you."

"Ru, you should have told me this earlier." Semiramis was so angry that her teeth were itching.

Shirou apologized twice and continued to get back to the point: "The berserker that was taken away is the same no matter where it is because of its own special characteristics. I have my own way to deal with it - do you have any questions?"

Karna remained silent as always, while Atalanta and Achilles looked at each other and shook their heads.

Achilles sighed with some regret: "You even built a castle and made preparations to defend the city."

"Defend the city? Rider, your premise is wrong. My Noble Phantasm, 'The Floating Garden of Vanity', is not for defense, but for offense."

Semiramis let out a small laugh.

PS: "First Folio" is the name given by modern scholars to the first collection of William Shakespeare's plays. Its actual name is "Mr. William Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies". The collection is printed in folio form and includes 36 works of Shakespeare. It was planned and published by John Hemings and Henry Condell, Shakespeare's colleagues in the King's Men, in 1623, about 7 years after Shakespeare's death. In other words, the book in Shakespeare's hand, like "The Analects", is his work, but it was not written by him.
