Chapter 100: Relic

"Experiment? What experiment?"

"I'm not sure, but the actions they just recorded clearly record our actions of killing Mih. No matter what experiments they are doing, we are now his experimental subjects."

Speaking of this, Charles' mind flashed to the kitchen helper with only half of his face left. That guy was dead. Did he fail the experiment

"You say... are these guys from the Foundation?"

Richard's guess gave Charles a flash of inspiration, and the previous experimental records of 096 appeared in his mind.

The Foundation had a test subject take 096 with them and observe his changes.

If they nest their current scenario, then the one who just died was the experimental subject, and they play the role of 096. In this way, everything is connected.

Why would they send their own kind in, why would there be other monsters locked up on the other side, this also explains why they didn't kill me.

"Damn it! Do these idiots outside treat us as relics? Are they all fucking crazy? They can't see that from a grown man like me? What kind of experiment is this?" Richard cursed angrily.

"Stop shouting. Do you think they understand? No matter what they've been through, they're no longer human now."

"So what do we do next?"

"Wait, since they treat us as relics, then they will definitely conduct the next experiment soon. We can get more information from the next test subject."

"That's too much trouble. I have another plan. Do you want to hear it?"

"I know what you are going to do! Stay still and don't move!"

"Okay, okay, I'll listen to you. It's so boring." Richard's complaining voice disappeared in his mind.

The second day of captivity passed quickly. Charles had planned to continue his test on the third day, but one thing disrupted his plan.

Charles was shaken awake from his drowsiness. He found his body moving. He ran quickly in the narrow corridor and escaped!

"Richard! What are you doing!?"

"Hahaha! What else can I do! Of course I'll run away! Are you planning on retiring here? Hesitation will lead to failure, buddy!"

"There is no information at all, why are you running? Do you know where this is? Why are you running?" Charles' voice was filled with suppressed rage.

"I don't know, but since I know those things are transformed from humans, there is nothing to be afraid of. I killed those who blocked the door. They were so weak."

Charles felt very annoyed. He never expected that the other party would take action while he was sleeping.

But in this situation, Charles didn't want to argue with the other party. Since he had already taken action, he had to carry it through to the end.

"Where are the crew? Did you look for those cells?"

"Need I tell you? Of course we've looked for it. There are all kinds of messed up things locked up inside. They are probably being held somewhere else. Let's get out first, and then find a way to rescue them."

Charles sighed lightly, collected his thoughts and quickly looked around at his surroundings.

This was a corridor with various doors neatly arranged. He glanced at it and found computers, fax machines and other things inside.

Seeing those modern things, Charles had a premonition in his heart.

"Woo~Woo~Woo~" A sirens sounded from somewhere, and the lights above my head began to flash red frequently.

Charles gritted his teeth and sped up his pace. The Mihs had already noticed them and were running away.

Charles' fingers touched the familiar feel and layout of the various facilities. "The Second Laboratory"

Charles's previous hunch was correct. If those people were all staff of the foundation, then they must be imprisoned in the laboratory.

But now is not the time to think about this. Charles quickly confirmed the location of the exit, threw the map away, and ran quickly.

The second laboratory is very large, with various corridors and passages stacked up one after another, but fortunately, Charles's strengthened body is not slow either.

Quickly dealing with Mih who they met on the road, they soon approached the exit.

But the goddess of luck did not seem to favor Charles. Just when they were about to go out, dozens of Mih rushed in from the exit, holding various guns and cold weapons in their hands, staring at Charles with their cross-yellow pupils.

There was no need to say anything in this situation. Charles gritted his teeth, pushed hard on the ground with his bare feet, and rushed towards those Mihs.

Gunshots rang out instantly, and Charles quickly dodged the bullet by leaning sideways, then raised his prosthetic limb directly towards Mich who was at the front.

"Crack, crack, crack!" The sound of chains turning was heard, and the catapult grappling spear hit its chest directly. The injured Mih immediately let out an ear-shattering scream.

As Charles pulled hard, the chain quickly contracted and the two bodies quickly collided with each other.

The prosthetic limb with the grappling hook attached was quickly pulled outwards, the sound of flesh tearing was heard, and the screams stopped abruptly.

Bullets were still coming from behind, but Mich's tall body became a shield for Charles. The bullets kept hitting the body but could not hurt Charles behind.

He grabbed the dead Mih with both hands and rushed towards the enemy in the distance.

Charles roared as he rushed into the crowd, threw the corpse away, raised the chainsaw in his hand and chopped it hard on the head of the monster next to him.

Mih, who was standing next to him, tried to attack with guns, but in this close combat environment, Charles' agile body was put to maximum use.

Whenever a gun was pointed at him, he would quickly shrink back to the other Mih, making the other side dare not shoot.

And when they switched to using cold weapons, Charles was more than happy to do so. In close combat, with his strengthened body, he had never been afraid of anyone.

Charles' body shuttled among them like a loach, and these Mihs could not deal with him at all.

Richard was right, these things didn't have very strong physical abilities. Even after turning into monsters like this, their physical fitness was about the same as that of an adult.

All of a sudden, the Mihs fell to the ground one after another, but Charles was not hurt at all.

Charles thought that he would defeat these monsters soon, but suddenly a man named Mih in a black robe emerged from among the monsters, holding a miniature hourglass in his dry hands.

As he turned the hourglass over and the sand in the bottle flowed downwards, Charles instantly felt his body slow down.

"That's a relic! These Mih are using relics too!"

"Bang!" A gunshot was heard from the left side, and blood splattered on Charles' left thigh. He was shot.

Charles rolled quickly on the ground, and when he stood up, a revolver appeared in his hand.

"Bang, bang, bang!" Charles fired rapidly at the black Mich, but the black Mich seemed to be more agile than the ordinary Mich and actually dodged Charles' shooting.

Fortunately, the goal was achieved and Charles' somewhat sluggish body returned to normal.
