Chapter 131: Floating monster

Views:

"Some black monsters with big heads taller than two people floated out of the cave."

As soon as Charles heard Lily say this information, the word "aboriginal" immediately flashed through his mind.

He didn't expect that there was space underground on the island and that indigenous people were living there.

After listening to the mouse squeaking a few times, Lily turned around and continued to translate: "The pirates threw a lot of fish into the hole, and then the floating black monsters drove this thing out of the hole."

At this point, Lily pointed to the soft black sphere in Charles' hand.

"There were so many of these things piled up inside, as many as several ships, and then some people in ragged clothes loaded these things onto iron carts and shipped them out. Those ragged people must have been slaves."

Charles looked at the black and blue creature in his hand in confusion. Could this thing be the fuel that the pirates traded with the natives

Tuba came over, pointed at the thing in Charles' hand and said with a smile: "That's it. Feed it to the boat and it will run very fast."

Looking at the little hands of the living creature that kept grabbing his, Charles still found it hard to believe that this thing could be fuel.

"Who cares whether it can be burned or not? Now that we have the finished product, let's give it a try. Bro, are you hot on the trail?" Richard interrupted.

Taking the lighter from Feuerbach, Charles glanced at the tall tower in the distance, carefully turned his back, and lightly flicked the object with the flame.

"Whoosh~" The bright flame quickly spread on the thing, turning it into a fireball.

"No doubt, this thing is the fuel of the pirates." Feeling the pain of the flame burning his palm, Charles showed a hint of excitement on his face. With this information, his mission to the island was completed.

But what no one expected was that the next second the burning creature suddenly struggled and made a very shrill scream.

This sound traveled very far in the empty canyon, and immediately attracted the attention of the pirates on the tower. A noisy broadcast sounded. "Who is there? No one is allowed to approach the back mountain!"

Immediately afterwards, a bright searchlight quickly swept towards Charles.

Charles quickly crushed the fireball in his hand and led the others to rush towards the circular building behind him.

Just when he thought he had escaped the pirates' searchlights, Tuba's silly and proud voice came from behind him. "You can't see me, you can't see me~"

Charles turned around quickly and saw Tuba standing stupidly under the bright round lamppost, covering his forehead with a cross.

Time seemed to freeze at this moment, and everyone present looked in that direction at the same time.

Not sure if it was Tuba's ability that worked, the pirates on the tower seemed a little confused.

However, at this moment, a searchlight suddenly moved, and the beam of light flashed, instantly shining on Charles.

"Enemy attack!! Enemies are approaching!!"

The steel gate in the distance slammed open, and a group of pirates with greedy eyes rushed towards them.

"Damn it!!" Charles quickly ran out of the light column. After quickly identifying the direction, Charles hurriedly led everyone to rush to the beach.

"Bang bang bang!" The sound of gunfire behind them suddenly rang out, but in the darkness, their aim was obviously poor, and Charles ran even faster.

The speeds of both sides were almost the same, and they rushed towards the beach side by side.

Just as they heard the sound of waves in the distance, Charles suddenly felt a tingling sensation on his head, which was a warning of extreme danger. He subconsciously grabbed Tuba and rolled quickly to the left.

Ignoring the pain, Charles dragged Tuba and continued forward.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to escape, Charles glanced and saw the owner of the giant stone pillar.

It was a floating humanoid monster nearly three meters tall, with a translucent air bag the size of a round table on its head.

They were tall and had swollen limbs. Their strange bodies were covered in a black robe, and their facial features seemed to be entangled in layers of spider webs, so Charles could not see the expression on his face.

But even though he couldn't see his expression, Charles could feel his hostility towards him. The heavy pillar was pulled up again by the floating monster and quickly swung towards Charles again.

"Bang!" The huge stone pillar brushed past the corner of Charles' clothes and smashed heavily to the ground, causing the rocks on the ground to crack and splash everywhere.

"Bang, bang, bang!" Charles quickly pulled the trigger at it, but the bullets hit the black robes of these monsters, as if hitting iron plates, and fell to the ground with clanking sounds.

"Hit the air bag above its head!" Richard reminded in his head, and Charles' gun muzzle quickly moved upwards.

The gunshot rang out again, but the bullet hit the floating monster's air bag, and it seemed to be greased, leaving a few dents and quickly sliding out. The attack had no effect.

"Damn! What on earth are these guys' bodies made of? They're invulnerable to swords and guns!"

Charles no longer had time to pay attention to Richard's voice, because the huge stone pillar was already whistling towards him.

Charles gritted his teeth, and with his extremely resilient body quickly bent down 90 degrees to avoid the attack.

Taking advantage of the moment when the force of the stone pillar had just been released, Charles placed his prosthetic limb on the stone pillar, and all the muscles in his body instantly exerted force, and he flipped directly from under the stone pillar to the top.

Charles instantly exerted force with his feet, stepped on the stone pillars and rushed towards the head of the floating monster.

"Zizi~" The chainsaw in his left hand started instantly. Without waiting for it to resist, Charles raised his prosthetic limb and cut hard on its neck. Bone fragments and transparent liquid kept splashing.

With a "click", the huge floating monster's head was completely removed by the chainsaw.

As the floating monster's broken neck let out a hissing sound of air leaking, the leaking airbag pushed its head and quickly disappeared into the air.

Charles glared at the body that was about to fall to the ground, then rolled over and landed steadily on the ground.

At this moment, he could not care about the strange body structure of this floating monster, because he saw more black floating monsters in the air, carrying huge stone pillars and flying towards this side.

More than a dozen thirty-meter-tall black-robed floating monsters quickly floated towards this side from the distant sky. This scene was so death-threatening.

Charles knew that if he continued to run away, he would only be entangled by them because these guys were faster than them.

Charles pulled out the bat mirror and touched his right hand after scraping it on the prosthetic chain saw.

"You guys run quickly, I'll stop them and come back later." Charles, whose body was constantly changing, said to his companions in the distance.

Not long after, a five-meter giant bat soared into the sky and rushed towards the monsters.
