Shrouded Seascape

Chapter 177: wake up

Views:

Seeing Charles staring at her blankly, Anna showed a smile on her face and reached out to grab Charles' arm.

"Come on, come out with me, we can build a new home out there."

Everything around him collapsed again, and Charles' heart seemed to be touched by something.

"A new home..." Charles muttered to himself.

"Come out quickly. To celebrate your coming out, I have prepared a small gift for you."

Charles looked at his childhood sweetheart in front of him and said, "Anna, show me your original appearance."

Anna was stunned, not knowing why the other party would make this request.

"I just want to take a look." Charles' voice suddenly became unusually calm, as if it was someone else who had just gone crazy.

Anna's sexy body quickly melted, and the hideous tentacle monster reappeared in front of Charles.

Wriggling gray roots, big bright yellow eyes, and a ferocious giant mouth with barbs.

Charles patted his hand on its tentacles. "Can I trust you, Anna?"

Anna's huge body bent over.

Charles suddenly smiled, as if he had figured something out at that moment. "Come on, Anna, let's go out."

The moment Charles said this, the sky and the earth around him changed color, and the scene in front of him changed rapidly. When he came to his senses again, he found himself suspended in a ball of green slime, with an unbearable stinging pain in his head.

Instinctively, he reached out to touch his head, and soon he felt a tentacle, a tentacle that kept drilling into his brain.

"Don't pull it out." The sudden female voice stopped Charles. He recognized it was Anna's voice.

With a "pop" sound, the slime ball burst, and Charles, who was wrapped in the slime ball, lay on the ground like a raw egg, on the intricate and strange green wedge pattern.

This was a huge magic circle. Three-meter-tall giants wearing white tricorn hats and wide cloaks stood silently around Charles according to some pattern.

But Charles couldn't see all of this at the moment. In his eyes, everything was a rotten organ, and all kinds of flesh and blood were spinning rapidly around him, upside down.

"Drink this quickly. Your mind is still not stable." Anna at the side handed over a ball of squirming mucus.

Charles didn't say anything, he just raised his head and drank it.

As the boiling mucus flowed down the esophagus into the stomach, the various deformed flesh and blood around it quickly changed back to its original appearance.

Other things returned to normal, but Anna next to him was deformed into a hideous tentacle monster, and the tentacles on Charles' head were extending from its body.

Charles slowly turned his head and looked at everything around him.

While he was observing his surroundings, the monster next to him quickly changed its body and turned back into Anna's beautiful face.

As she shook her left hand, the gray tentacle in her hand broke away from the main body and twisted like a snake, drilling into Charles' head.

After looking around, Charles walked through the giants and picked up the mirror on the table.

He saw that his scalp had been lifted up and a large hole had been carved out on the side of his skull. Through the hole, Charles saw his slightly trembling brain inside, and the wriggling tentacles lying on top of it.

"What is this?" Charles took the mirror down.

"My tentacles, what else could they be?" Anna said as she walked over with the round skull.

"What's the use?" Charles squatted on the ground and asked Anna to cover the skull.

"It's used to suppress the blessing of God that drives you crazy. Without this tentacle, you would never wake up. But the tentacle didn't last too long. We are still trying to figure out what to do next." Anna carefully placed the skull and clapped her hands lightly.

A steel needle with a thin thread pierces the skin and flesh, quickly suturing the separated skin and flesh together.

Charles no longer cared about the stinging feeling.

After sewing the white coats, they bowed respectfully to Anna and left, and the giants who were standing there also left with them.

There were only two people left in the empty hall.

Charles sat up from the bed. Before he could say anything, Anna rolled her eyes at him. "Who is Elizabeth?"

"Are you jealous?" Charles chuckled.

"I'm asking you a question." Anna crossed her arms over her chest, looking like she had caught someone cheating.

Charles opened his arms and gently held her in his arms, "A girlfriend."

Anna seemed to break free from Charles' arms angrily and walked towards the cave entrance in the distance in high heels.

Charles quickly followed from behind, moving side by side with her.

As soon as he came out, Charles realized that the place he had just been in was just a basement, and the space above was even larger than that below.

This is an indoor hall with a very gorgeous decoration.

"You must be hungry. Let's go out and eat something." Anna pulled Charles outside.

As soon as Charles walked out, he was stunned by the scenery outside. If it weren't for the tentacles in his head still wriggling slightly from time to time, he would have thought he was still in a dream.

Outside was a modern street, with all kinds of shop signs exactly like the ones outside his neighborhood. "How did you make that?"

"As long as we have money, these are all small problems." Anna took Charles into a Lanzhou ramen restaurant next door.

The various furnishings in the store were exactly as he remembered them.

Anna took out a napkin and wiped it on the stool, then raised her hand and said, "Boss, two bowls of beef noodles, one big bowl and one small bowl."

The boss next to him quickly made and cooked the noodles, and soon two bowls of steaming beef noodles were served to Charles.

Charles picked up a few slices of beef in the bowl that were so thin that they were almost transparent with chopsticks, and nodded approvingly at Anna. "Yes, the restoration is very accurate."

"Eat quickly, otherwise the noodles will become clumpy." Anna picked out a few slices of beef from the bowl and put them in Charles' bowl.

Charles ate the noodles slowly and was surprised to find that they tasted quite good, exactly the same as he remembered.

"Is that the little present you were talking about?" Charles put the empty bowl down.

"How about it? Live here with me?" Anna rested her chin on her elbow and looked at him with her head tilted.

Charles glanced at the tense noodle shop owner and shook his head. "What's in my mind is fake, and what's here is fake too."

"So you want to go back to your Hope Island and be the governor? That's not impossible. I can move there."

"No, I want to find a way back to the surface." Charles' eyes no longer had the firmness of the past, and his tone could even be said to be bland.

But Anna could hear the determination to abandon everything in these words.
