The other crew members came over and watched their captain squat down and examine the details of the body again.
There was no difference in other places, except for the gold tooth. He broke it off and looked at it carefully, and found that there seemed to be a layer of lines on the glittering gold surface, which seemed to be a naked woman.
"Do you recognize this mark?" Charles asked.
After the crew checked each other, a stranger raised his hand happily, "Governor, I know this, it is—"
"Call the Captain!"
The sailor shrank back slightly in fear, then quickly changed his words. "Captain, I know this mark. It is the mark of a group of pirates. I heard from people who were robbed by them that the pirates would have this gold tooth embedded in their teeth."
"Pirates... where do they usually operate?"
"They are gone. We don't know why. I heard that they offended Hefang Island. Governor Hefang wiped out these Golden Tooth Pirates a few years ago."
This was not valuable information. Charles threw the gold tooth to the ground and strode forward. "Let's go and continue the investigation."
Inside the dim and eerie building complex, Dipper skillfully wielded the dagger in his left hand while scratching his itchy neck with his right hand.
The horrific environment did not bring him too much fear, and he even had time to chat with his companions. "Big guy, is Mo Xica willing to let you out?"
"I have the final say at home." James knocked on the thick wall with his hands, trying to see if there was a dark room inside.
"Tsk, everyone in Hope Island knows about your situation, and you're still pretending in front of me?"
James looked a little unhappy and stopped talking to Dipper.
"Let's go, this room is empty too." Dipper stood up and walked outside.
The crew members quickly gathered on the flat road. There was a hint of confusion on everyone's face. They had searched the entire island, but still found nothing. After exploring so many islands, this was the first time they had encountered such a situation.
"Don't be impatient. There is still a place we haven't explored yet." Everyone's eyes looked towards the depressing mountain in the distance.
As they approached, some details of the mountain appeared for everyone to see.
This doesn't look like a natural mountain. The rock walls are trimmed very neatly, as if a giant had deliberately trimmed them with a knife.
"Captain, there is a door on the left wall." The bat that came back from detection brought a message.
It was an iron door that was four meters high and six meters wide, covered with a layer of black oxide, just like the huge mouth of a mountain.
"Boom!" The bomb exploded, and after the smoke cleared, the gate was only slightly deformed.
Linda stood aside silently. After chewing for a while, she spat out forcefully. The pungent gastric juice gave off a disgusting smell.
Looking at the corroded gate, he thought in his heart.
"Why would the Foundation occupy such an island? The whirlpools around it indicate that this place is not suitable for living. It is a good choice to use it to detain prisoners."
"But these are just speculations. The motives of those guys are a little hard to understand. Could it be that what the Pope said is true?"
At this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in the thick white smoke. Everyone present tensed up instantly and drew their weapons in unison.
As the vampire next to him quickly flapped his cloak, the white smoke dissipated and a dried corpse appeared in front of everyone.
"Click, click, click". The anchor hook with a chain popped out and directly dragged the mummy out from behind the door.
"Lily, let your friend go in and take a look." With a squeaking sound, seven or eight mice jumped into the black hole caused by corrosion and ran inside quickly.
He was dressed in a sailor's outfit, and even though the skin on his face was completely dry, Charles could still see the despair on his face.
The fingers were in a clawing shape, and the nails on the top had fallen off. It seemed that he had been scratching the steel door with his bare hands when he was alive.
Charles opened his mouth and took out the gold tooth. The pattern on the tooth was still the same as the dagger. "This guy also has a gold tooth. He is in the same group as the pirate."
After taking a look at the dark gate, Charles turned to the blind man beside him and asked, "Is there any other exit from this mountain of Odrick?"
The vampire shook his head, "No, I checked several times, and there is only one door in this place. My eyes may be wrong, but sound waves will never lie.
"This steel door is at least half a meter thick. How did he get in?"
Just as he was thinking about this question, a chirping sound was heard and colorful mice ran out.
"Mr. Charles, there are a lot of empty houses in there, no threats, not even a fly."
"Are there any records or documents, or nautical charts or something?"
After communicating with her mouse, Lily nodded. "Yes, there are some words carved on one wall."
"Come on, take me over there." Charles led the crew members in quickly, and the inside was pretty much the same as Mouse had described. The layout was a bit like an enlarged version of an office building, but there were no furniture or bodies.
The walls all around are made of thick concrete, and this place looks more like a military facility.
"Where is the picture you mentioned?" Charles asked.
"This way, there are stairs this way, on the tenth floor."
They walked quickly forward up the wide stairs.
The echo of footsteps continued to reverberate at the dark staircase.
Second floor, third floor, fourth floor...
Charles wiped his sweaty palms on his clothes. He would rather something popped out nearby than this.
“Everyone checks on each other. If there is any abnormality, such as if there are too few or too many people, they must report it immediately.”
The other crew members responded from the stairwell.
The tenth floor was soon reached, and Charles also saw the words engraved on the wall.
V12 Containment Point Notes
Any experiment involving DE1344 must be approved by four A-level PhDs or above. (Due to the 311 incident, all experimental activities involving DE1344 are currently suspended.)
Any 1344-1 that comes out of project DE1344 is not allowed to communicate with anyone except the negotiation experts. The negotiation experts must persuade them to return to DE1344. If 1344-1 refuses to do so, a special forces team must be dispatched immediately to kill them.
If an AK-class doomsday occurs, DE1344 will be the Foundation's last hope. All members of the V12 containment point must go to DE1344 as the Foundation's spark.
Looking at the last few words "AK-level doomsday", Charles felt a strong sense of uneasiness in his heart. He had been very skeptical about the Pope's nonsense before, but now he began to believe it a little.
