Soon, Gordon took Charles to a busy alley.
The ratio of humans in this alley is obviously much higher. It seems that this is their gathering place, with hotels, bars, brothels, casinos, and everything else.
When passing by a brothel with a strong scent of perfume, Gordon showed a lewd expression on his face. "Friend, how about trying the specialty of Broken Heart Island?"
"What are the characteristics?"
"What else could it be? Of course she's a woman from the Haik tribe. Just think about it, when you brag in a bar that you slept with a woman over three meters tall, others will definitely look at you with admiration."
Charles reached out to cover Lily's ears and said impatiently, "Stop talking nonsense and take us to the hotel quickly. I have important things to do later."
Seeing that Charles had no intention of going, Gordon sighed regretfully, "You will regret refusing such a good opportunity."
Soon they arrived at an equally huge hotel. Gordon negotiated enthusiastically with the owner of the Heik tribe. The giant looked Charles and others up and down, then handed Gordon several palm-sized keys.
"Let's go, we have the key." Gordon tapped the table a few times with his hands, then turned and said to Charles.
For the sake of safety in a foreign island, Charles deliberately rented only a guest room so that anyone who encountered any problems could receive immediate support.
"Come on, come on, everyone, try the special gray tea of Broken Heart Island. It is very good for the health of your crew members who have just returned to the island." Gordon held a glass teapot that was half his height and invited people enthusiastically.
Seeing the crew gulping down tea, Charles turned his head to look at Gordon next to him, "You did a good job."
"I'm just paying for your work. No need to thank me. Please have some tea." Gordon handed the cup to Charles.
Looking at the gray tea in the cup, Charles had no intention of moving. "Where is the prophet of the Hek tribe? Take me to see him."
We have arrived at the Broken Island. It's time to find the prophet and completely lift the curse of God.
When he heard Charles say the word "prophet", Gordon's face suddenly turned ugly. He looked at Charles uncertainly. "Do you know the prophet of the Heike tribe?!"
"I don't know it. I need its help."
Gordon let out a sigh of relief and let go of the cup in his arms. "I was scared to death. If you don't know him, that's easy."
As soon as Gordon finished speaking, the crew members of the Narwhal who were drinking tea fell to the ground one after another.
"Bang!!" The window was smashed open, and a large group of ferocious humans and the Heik tribe jumped in and surrounded Charles and others.
"Kid, remember next time don't trust strangers so much, especially in unfamiliar areas." Seeing his accomplice coming over, Gordon showed a smug expression on his face. He knew that he had met a fat sheep and he would make a fortune.
The corners of Charles' mouth rose slightly, with a hint of coldness in his eyes, and he kicked the bandage at his feet.
The crew members lying on the ground stood up expressionlessly and took out their weapons.
The doctor showed a trace of disdain on his face, picked up the teacup and took another sip, "The smell of thorn grass is so strong, and you actually put it in directly, how amateurish."
"Roar!!" The giant James rushed forward directly, and for a while, gunshots and screams continued to ring out in the room.
Half a quarter of an hour later, the chaos in the room subsided. Gordon stood by with a pale face, watching the Narwhal crew cleaning up the bodies.
Even though no one was watching him at this moment, he still didn't dare to move.
"Snap!" Charles slapped his hand on his shoulder, causing him to shudder. "Take me to see the Prophet."
The frightened Gordon trembled for a long time and finally uttered the word "good".
Charles has been on high alert since this guy came over. If anyone comes over to greet him enthusiastically in any unfamiliar place, it definitely means he has no good intentions.
After coming out of that place, Gordon quickly took Charles back to the dock. He pointed to the ship in the distance and said, "The prophet is on another island. We need to take a boat to go there."
Charles kicked him hard on the back, knocking him to the ground, then raised his revolver and fired several shots at his left arm. Blood and flesh splattered everywhere, and his entire left arm was broken.
Gordon screamed, holding his broken arm, his whole body shaking violently. The next second, his voice stopped abruptly because the barrel of Charles' gun was against his mouth.
Gordon nodded frantically, afraid that if he nodded too slowly, the other party would pull the trigger.
The ship left the dock and headed towards another island under the ferry of the crew.
The islands were not far from each other, and soon Charles arrived at a deserted island.
Compared with the previous island that was full of the smell of fireworks, this island seems very deserted.
Apart from a huge flat-roofed palace made of black rocks in the distance, there are no other buildings.
The Haik people put on their tightly fitting robes again, holding long-handled spears in their hands, and stood in a circle around the black temple like sculptures.
"That's the prophet's place, but they won't let us in. It's a forbidden area." Gordon said, covering his injured arm.
Charles simply raised his revolver, pointed it at his head and pulled the trigger.
"I'll be back soon, wait for me here." Charles walked towards the square hall in the distance.
As expected, he was stopped.
Looking at the tall man in front of him holding a giant spear more than five meters long, Charles took out the box again.
Facing the box, the Heike people in front of him put away their weapons and began to ignore Charles' existence again.
Charles turned the box in his hand over and over again. No matter how he looked at it, it was just an ordinary wooden box. He didn't know why there was such a huge change in their minds once they saw the box.
Charles walked forward along the smooth steps and entered the Black Rock Hall.
The furnishings in the hall were beyond Charles's expectations. The room was filled with thick blood red. Charles felt uncomfortable with this color after looking at it for a long time.
The furnishings in the room were simple, with only a central pool on the ground and red candles placed all around.
"Splash" a naked Heike woman emerged from the water. Unlike other Heike people, her body was covered with twisted long tattoos.
She walked over to Charles and took the box from him.
The woman walked back to the water's edge and poured some of the powder from the box into the pool.
"The prophet is waiting for you downstairs." After the naked woman said the first sentence, she knelt on the ground and said no more.
This strange scene made Charles feel uneasy. It seemed that she wanted him to jump into the pool.
God knows what is inside. In Charles' mind, the prophet should be a white-haired old man. Now it seems that it is not certain whether this thing is a human or a ghost.
After hesitating for a moment, Charles put down his guard and walked towards the pool. He believed Anna, since she said she had a way to solve this problem, she would definitely not harm him.
With a "splash", Charles jumped into the pool.
As soon as he entered the water, Charles opened his eyes and looked around, but found nothing. Just as he was puzzled, a colorful light came from under his body.
Pieces of colorful colors floated upward from the bottom, like a pile of dead rainbows. When those things got closer to Charles, he found that they were translucent jellyfish of various colors.
Just when Charles was confused, an ethereal voice sounded in his mind.
"Hello, Charles. I have been waiting for you for a long time. No need to look anywhere else. I am these jellyfish."
These jellyfish are prophets!? Charles was about to speak when the air in his mouth turned into bubbles and escaped upwards.
