Chapter 313: An unsolvable curse

Margaret walked out of the bar without stopping, she went straight to the Sodom parked nearby.

Four years ago, she was kidnapped here as a young girl. Reality is so strange. If it were before, she would never have thought that she would one day cooperate with these evil pirates.

"How is our island being handled?" 134, wearing a sky blue dress, knelt beside the small wooden yellow table, pouring tea for the pink plush bear attentively. She was having a tea party with her toys.

Glancing at the bloated fat man who was eating heartily in the corner, Margaret walked up to 134 and said, "We've almost cleaned up. You'd better keep your people under control. They've caused several robberies and rapes."

134 looks as cute as a six-year-old girl when she smiles, but her ferocious teeth are exposed, turning her cuteness into horror in an instant.

"Hahaha, they are pirates. Isn't it normal for them to do bad things? Just kill them directly."

"I'll have someone build a new dock in the east. You can drive the Sodom over there. I'll send people to deliver all the supplies. It's nothing important, so it's best if your people don't leave the Sodom."

134 looked very unhappy with this decision, and the smile on his face slowly faded. "I think this is good. I don't like changing places. I like crowds."

"Your people cannot go to the island. They are too troublesome. Do you want the chaotic Hefang Island to be your rear?"

134 Her eyes narrowed slightly, and as she glanced at Margaret, a gray figure floated out from the teddy bear stuffed animal next to her, and a bone flute emitting a cold glow was placed against Margaret's neck.

"I suddenly have an idea. I will kill you now, and the entire Hefang Island will belong to me."

Hearing this, the bloated fat man next to her put down the piece of meat in his hand and looked at Margaret expressionlessly. Under his buttery greasy skin, something began to wriggle continuously.

Margaret frowned slightly, and the scar on her face looked even more hideous. "That's a good idea, maybe you can try it."

Behind Margaret, several transparent figures appeared vaguely.

The atmosphere in the room gradually became tense, but the tension immediately disappeared after the sharp-toothed little girl laughed.

"Hahaha, how could that be? I was just joking. If the nearby islands knew that the pirate king of Sodom occupied the largest island in the North Sea, they would definitely join forces with the navy to attack us. We'll do as you say and stop to the east."

Seeing that the purpose of her coming here had been achieved, Margaret stood up and walked towards the door.

134 put down the teacup in his hand, and there was no warmth in his lovely red pupils.

"Da~da da da~" There was a sudden sound of wood hitting the wall in the room.

134 looked up and saw a long, green, faceless monster with long, thin arms hanging diagonally on the wall.

"Don't be impatient. This naive woman cannot be killed. Her identity can be used as a shield. Anyway, this island will be ours sooner or later."

Margaret walked back to the dock of Hefang Island, turned her head to look at the fortress behind her with a huge sense of oppression, and her eyes showed the same look as 134 just now.

"Father, don't worry. Hefang Island will always belong to Cavendish. No outsider will ever get involved."

On the Narwhal, Charles was anxiously waiting at the door of the medical room. Just when he took out his pocket watch to check the time again, the ship's doctor Linda walked out with a cold face.

"His body is gradually decaying, and the various drugs are not effective. I have tried every possible way to stop the bleeding and fight the infection."

When Charles heard this, his face became even uglier. He pushed Lingda away and walked inside.

After just over ten days, the bandaged body was no longer in human form. There was little skin left, and he looked like a black skeleton lying on the white bed.

Charles walked to the bed, looked at the lifeless half-open eyes and said, "Hold on, we'll be there soon. As long as we get back to Hope Island, I'll immediately find someone to remove the curse from you."

The eyeball with a dry bandage slowly turned away, and he tremblingly picked up the scalpel beside him and handed it to Charles.

"Captain... peel off the skin... off my back... the skin... on my back... is not rotten yet..."

Charles took the scalpel from his hand and put it in the box. "What is the name of the sacrifice ceremony you are performing? Think carefully about whether there is a way to remove the curse in the Futan religion, even if it can delay it for a little while."

"There is no way... God's... curse... can only be solved... by going to the land where God descends, but it's too far..."

When Charles saw the bandage in front of him, his heart ached like a needle.

He is his first mate and the person who silently supports him. Without him, his territory, Hope Island, would never have been run so well.

But now he could only watch him die in front of him and could do nothing. This time Charles felt very uncomfortable.

"You won't die. Try this, maybe it will work." Charles took out the black blade and stuffed it into the bandaged man's hand. Then Charles dug out the stone hidden in his palm and buried it into the bandaged man's body.

"It's... no use... Captain..." Bandage pressed Charles' hand with his hand.

"Is the God Futan so stingy? If there is a lack of sacrifice, we can just make up for it later!" Charles' voice was a little exasperated.

"The Lord is sleeping... What I sacrificed that day was... His subordinate god... Actually... Sacrifice is... a very dangerous... thing, otherwise... the Futan... Church would have occupied the Earth Sea long ago..."

"What is the name of that god?" Charles tried to find a clue to the solution.

Bandage shook his head slowly, his eyes looking over Charles' shoulder at the oil lamp hanging from the ceiling that swayed with the waves.

Charles suddenly saw that the bandaged man's extremely haggard face instantly looked much better, and his eyes suddenly became brighter.

"You know what? Captain, I actually think there's a good chance that I'm not from the surface. But I'm willing to go on with you all."

"I am a person without a past, but on this ship, no matter who I was or what I did before, my identity has never changed. I am the first mate bandage of the Narwhal, and I like this identity."

For the first time, there was no pause in the sound of the bandage, but after he said this, there was no more movement.

Looking at the bandages on the bed, Charles felt a chill down his spine and his breathing immediately became rapid.

"Linda! Linda!!! Come in!!!"

Charles was driven out of the medical room by the ship's doctor who rushed in. This time he waited for a long time, until 4 hours later, when Linda came out with a hint of fatigue on her face.

"He won't live for many days. Do you want to bury him at sea or take him back to Hope Island for burial? If you want burial, I'll go ask the chef for some salt to pickle the body."
