Shrouded Seascape

Chapter 37: Fight

Hearing Charles' questioning, the blind vampire panicked and stammered, not knowing what to say.

Charles waved his hand to the other crew members, "No more waiting, everyone get on board!"

Akasha looked at the closed shipyard in front of her with interest. The corners of her mouth turned up, revealing her canine-like blood-sucking fangs. "It's really interesting. It seems that these humans are quite powerful. Armand, these humans can let me. I haven't tasted blood from outside for a long time."

The male vampire duke next to her shook his head, "My dear, that won't do. Follow the agreement."

"We are indeed a family. You are as stingy as your sister." Akasha looked at her companion with contempt and walked towards the door.

The female vampire, who was only 1.5 meters tall, stretched out her white hands, inserted them into the thick crack of the door and pulled hard.

A harsh friction sound was heard, and the half-palm-thick steel door was torn open easily by her like thin paper.

The two vampire dukes were stunned by the scene in front of them. There was a small pile of explosives on the open ground, with a fuse that was about to run out.

Before they could react, there was a loud bang and the entire shipyard exploded. The flames that shot up into the sky enveloped the two dukes.

Amid the billowing smoke, a charred corpse walked out of the sea of fire and looked at the Narwhal fleeing rapidly in the distance.

The charred corpse healed quickly, and soon the naked Akasha appeared in the same place.

"Yes, only strong enough food tastes delicious."

As soon as she finished speaking, black hairs sprouted from her body. Her fair body began to mutate rapidly. Not long after, a half-human, half-bat deformed monster with a body height of 3 meters appeared in the same place.

"Swoosh!" The deformed monster's body quickly dispersed into small bats, rushing towards the Narwhal in groups.

A group of bats flew out from the black smoke behind and followed.

Looking at the bats approaching rapidly in the sky, Charles, standing on the deck, turned his head and shouted to the deck gun: "Lily! Shoot them down!!"

"Boom boom boom!" The sound of artillery fire continued, and bat fragments torn by shells kept falling into the water. However, there were too many bats, and the shells could not reach them at all.

They were slowly approaching, and the sound of their wings flapping in the air was like a death curse, and the hearts of everyone on the boat tensed instantly.

Soon the bats arrived. They condensed into a half-human, half-bat monster in the air, and it slammed heavily on the deck with an afterimage.

The sharp front claws swept the brown rat on the turret with force, blood and flesh splattered, and Lily screamed.

Akasha looked at the fleeing rats with her huge scarlet eyes, and a ball of fire appeared in the palm of her hand.

Just as she was about to throw the fire at the mice, Charles, wearing a mask, appeared beneath her.

The sharp black knife cut across the arm, and the right arm holding the flame fell on the deck.

"Hello, beautiful lady~Did you drop this hand?"

"You're so annoying when you laugh." Akasha kicked her feet and quickly entangled with Charles.

At the same time, another half-bat monster also rushed onto the deck. James, who was 4 meters tall and had snot on his face, led the steel to meet it.

The other crew members stood in the distance and supported him with various weapons.

The two men crossed each other, and Charles jumped back and stood steadily on the edge of the boat.

Akasha did not pursue, but stood there, staring at the enemy in front of her with her huge scarlet eyes.

Seeing the monster's arm in front of him had recovered, Charles cursed in his heart. "This is so unreasonable, is he cheating?"

"Young man, that thing on your face looks great. Where did it come from? It's a pity that you followed the wrong owner."

Charles, who had become more erratic, immediately took advantage of the situation. "How about I give you this thing and you let us go?"

Akasha covered her mouth and chuckled, "Do you think it's possible? It's okay, I'm not in a hurry, we can talk slowly."

"Ah! It hurts! It hurts so much!" Charles became anxious when he heard James' cry behind him. The situation over there was very bad. If he continued talking, he was afraid that it would be a two-on-one fight soon.

He turned his head to look at Audrick who was hiding in the cockpit, "Hey! Blind man! Do you guys have any weaknesses?!"

The timid Orderic quickly reminded: "The Duke's only weakness is her heart. You must completely crush it and prevent her from regenerating."

"Humph!" For the first time, anger appeared on Akasha's terrifying face. She spread her wings behind her and rushed to the cockpit. People who betrayed their own people are always more hated than enemies.

"Bang, bang, bang" the cockpit glass shattered all over the floor. Akasha easily grabbed Odric who was trying to escape, and bit him hard with her big mouth full of sharp teeth. A heart-wrenching scream rang out, and half of the blind painter's neck disappeared.

Just when she was about to swallow the traitor completely, Charles had come behind her without her knowing when, and pierced her chest with the cold blade.

The bat monster flapped its wings and forced Charles back. She looked down at the knife wound on her chest with a cold expression on her terrifying face. "I have changed my mind. You humans should just die in the sea!"

She reached behind her back with her left hand, and a round mirror the size of a palm appeared in her hand. As soon as the mirror appeared, the air was filled with the sweet and fishy smell of blood, and the smell continued to grow stronger.

"Damn! She actually has a relic too!" Charles kicked his feet and was about to rush forward to stop her, but Akasha spread her wings and flew into the air.

Under the illumination of the huge searchlight, her horrible body changed again, from a half-human, half-bat monster to a five-meter-long pig-nosed bat.

The pig-nosed bat opened its mouth and let out a piercing scream, like a requiem from hell, which reached everyone's ears.

Everyone subconsciously covered their ears with their hands, even the other half-human, half-bat monster was no exception. In just a few seconds, blood began to ooze out of everyone's ears.

Then Charles saw a scene that made his back shiver. A crack appeared on the edge of the Narwhal's ship and spread all the way down.

You know, it's made of steel! This kind of sonic attack is not only effective on the flesh, but also very harmful to the ship. If she screams for a while longer, the entire Narwhal will probably disintegrate!

After looking around in the chaos, Charles jumped onto the chest of James, who was covered in injuries, and pointed at the bats in the sky and then at his hand.

James stood there in a daze, motionless. Charles slapped him hard in the face. The giant finally moved, grabbed Charles' legs and threw him out.

Charles slammed into the bat like a cannonball, and the headache-inducing shrieking sound in the air finally stopped.

With a knife stabbed into the bat, Charles shouted at the top of his lungs: "Lily! Fire!"
