Charles, looking somewhat embarrassed, ran around in the huge ship. At this moment, he felt as if the ship had come alive.
Everything was against him, anything aggressive wanted to kill him. Now he finally understood why this place was unguarded.
He could feel that there were some things he couldn't see, and they were standing around him, staring at him indifferently.
As Charles was running for his life, he was secretly worried, "This won't work. No matter what those things are, we must get rid of them."
After a sharp turn, Charles repeated his old trick and jumped directly onto the wall, inserted his knife into the wall and hung on the corner like a fly.
The various floating fragments below turned and moved forward along the corridor.
Charles waited until the fragments completely disappeared, and then he jumped down with sweat on his forehead. "Oh my god, that fat guy not only raises insects, but also ghosts?"
As soon as Charles finished speaking, he turned around and his body stiffened instantly. In front of him stood a little girl in a black Gothic dress.
Her long silver hair, pink skin and a teardrop mole above her eye made her look particularly cute, but when Charles met such a little Lolita in such an environment, he could only feel creepy.
The eyes of the two, one big and one small, looked at each other, and Charles rushed over in an instant, with the black blade in his hand directly against her neck.
When he covered the little girl's mouth with his hand, Charles felt a little relieved. She was warm, a living person.
"Tick, tick, tick" the little girl's tears fell on Charles' hands, and her long eyelashes drooped, looking particularly pitiful.
"Little sister, come here, come here, just tell me where your sea chart is, and I will let you go."
Charles loosened his hand a little, but the little girl still said nothing and looked very sad.
After thinking for a second, Charles simply hugged her and continued to walk forward. Judging from the girl's appearance, she should be an important person to the "king". If he met those ghosts again, he might use her to threaten them.
Just as Charles took two steps, the little girl kept shaking her little feet in her leather shoes, as if she wanted to get down.
Charles loosened his grip, and the little girl landed on the ground and jumped forward like a deer.
Following her up two flights of stairs, the little girl opened a door and rushed in. Just as Charles was about to go in, he saw the little girl coming out again, with some red fruits on her skirt.
Is she trying to bribe me with food so that I will let her go
When Charles saw the red fruit clearly, his pupils shrank to the smallest size.
That fruit was not any kind of fruit from the Earthsea, but it looked exactly like a cherry tomato.
Charles picked one up with his hand and asked the little girl, "This thing... Do you eat this often?"
Seeing the little girl nod cutely, Charles' heart trembled suddenly.
"Bang!" Suddenly a loud noise and human scream came from the lower level.
After listening to the noise for a while, the little girl put her finger upright to her mouth, pulled Charles' finger and ran forward quickly.
Where is this girl taking me? Looking at the little head in front of him, Charles put the cherry tomatoes in his hand into his pocket and half-bent his waist to follow her.
The whole ship was huge, with various rooms stacked up one on top of the other, and Charles was almost dizzy.
The moment he saw his head, Charles's face turned extremely ugly. It was obvious that his ally's plan not only failed, but also happened too early.
Just as Charles drew his weapon and prepared to fight to the death, fear appeared on the fat face of the "King". His bloated body collapsed to the ground, and he covered his face with his hands and howled like a wild beast.
The little girl let go of Charles' finger and walked over. Her cherry-like mouth, which had never spoken before, slowly opened, revealing her shark-like jagged teeth. "Waste! What are you doing! Someone has broken in!!"
The chandelier above the corridor hit "Wang" on the head, and then a rusty steel bar at the expansion part of the wall bounced instantly and pierced "Wang" directly. "Wang" cried even louder.
"Fuck you!" Charles turned around and ran for his life regardless of everything. One of them might still be able to try, but if the two of them continued to fight, they would be courting death.
The girl lifted up lightly with her slender fingers, and the steel bar in "Wang"'s body was pulled out and floated in the air. She pulled it on his head, and "bang~" Wang's left eye was pulled directly to the ground.
"Catch him! I want to eat him alive!! If you let him run away! You won't be able to eat anything this month!!"
Charles ran desperately along the corridor. He could never imagine that the little girl was even more cruel than the "king".
But he didn't think about it for too long, because Wang's insects of various shapes were chasing him from behind.
Although Charles tried his best, the insects were still approaching rapidly. Their speed was too fast, much faster than his body, which had reached the limit of human speed.
"Crunch, creak." Charles could already hear the sound of them twisting their joints and extending and retracting their mouthparts.
Just as all the insects arched their bodies and were about to jump, Charles' mind worked quickly. He reached towards his chest with his left hand, and the rivets embedded in the flesh were pulled out and quickly shot towards the surrounding light sources.
"Ding ding ding!" The light bulb in the corridor went out, and everything around fell into darkness. The insects were instantly confused, not knowing which direction to pounce on.
They couldn't see clearly, but Charles, who had dark vision, could. He pulled out his pistol in an instant and fired rapidly like a machine gun. The deformed heads of the insects exploded one after another, and green insect fluid splashed all over the ground.
After temporarily escaping danger, Charles didn't dare to stay any longer. The king had returned and the mission had failed. Now he needed to leave as soon as possible.
Wherever Charles went, he would turn off the light bulbs. He felt safer in the dark and he was looking for an exit quickly.
Slowly, Charles heard a soft song in his ears. The song was so beautiful that Charles felt his bones lighten a little.
But things soon changed. He began to feel that his hair was growing longer and the bones under his skin began to grow and bulge.
But something more serious happened. His stomach suddenly began to cramp violently. Charles inserted his finger into his throat and gently pinched it, then vomited.
What appeared in his stomach was not the food he had eaten in the morning, but twitching brown plant branches and mushrooms that kept withering and growing.
"Damn it!" Charles just stood up shakily when he suddenly felt an itch on the back of his hand. When he raised his hand, he saw dark green moss growing continuously.
This kind of singing seemed to have some kind of magic that could bring everything back to life. Charles knew that if he didn't find a solution, his body would be completely disintegrated by the various things growing inside his body.
