Chapter 556: Project 130

Charles carefully poked his head out of the window and looked at the members of the Mobile Task Force who were gradually approaching in the distance.

The task force members in black were now only a few dozen meters away from the factory where Charles was, and it would take at most a minute to reach here.

The two mobile task forces tacitly formed a large pocket formation and pressed towards this side to ensure that no one could break through.

The two aggregates were hanging above, on top of the square shell, acting as reconnaissance aircraft, and any movement would be observed by them.

"Anna, has Alice found anything? If not, we can only fight to break through!"

Charles quickly estimated the gap between the enemy and us, as well as the glimmer of hope.

Charles knew that in this situation, if he really wanted to break through, it would always be better to take the initiative than to be the last.

But if it really came to that, even with Anna's strong support, the crew of the Narwhal would suffer heavy casualties.

"Don't worry, I think I saw something. This thing's storage capacity is really scary."

Alice's other limbs were torn off by Anna, and her fingers turned into tentacles, wriggling and drilling into Alice's head.

Although the current situation is extremely critical, the two of them are chatting and laughing like best friends.

After a few seconds, Anna showed a charming smile. "Gao Zhiming, I found it!"

Jim, captain of the Black Beaver Mobile Task Force, held a gun in his hand and watched his team members vigilantly as they entered the factory in front of them.

"Squeak~ No abnormality with A5! Over." A clear voice came from the headset.

"Black Panther received, keep searching, and never let them escape." Jim said as he walked forward.

Just as he walked in front of a factory building, the half-open door and the bloodstains on the entrance caught his attention.

After he made a few quick gestures with his gloved right hand, the nearby privileged team members quickly surrounded the house.

"Bang!" The window on the right was suddenly knocked open and several flash bombs were thrown directly in.

When a white light flashed inside, a member of the collective team suddenly pulled the iron door down with both hands.

Just as Jim and his team were about to rush in, they saw a few smoking grenades, which made his pupils shrink slightly. Their thimbles had been pulled out along with the door.

"Boom!!" Driven by the explosion, the sharp armor pierced Jim's right eye and popped out from the back of his head.

Charles, who was running in the factory room, heard an explosion behind him and knew that the simple trap he had set had been triggered.

Now they did not run towards the rift, but ran directly into the depths of this huge factory.

Fighting with two immortal task forces was simply a suicidal act, but luckily Anna found a clue.

Charles turned his head to look at Anna who was holding Alice on his right side, "Are you really sure? If it doesn't work, it will be difficult for us to leave alive!"

"Anyway, that's what Alice has recorded in her head. The immortality of these guys comes from a relic. As long as we move that relic away from its current location, these guys will be solved."

"Bang bang!" The gunshot rang out again, and a rolling brass bullet hit Charles' bandage hard, making him gasp.

"Come this way, we're here." Anna said as she rushed to a huge gear machine and quickly clicked on the floating buttons above it.

A second later, a huge iron door appeared in the center of the huge machine. It was a secret door, and the mechanical facilities outside were just a cover.

Everyone rushed in, the heavy door closed, and bullets hit it with a loud bang.

"Go to the end of this road and open the password door with the code 1342. You will see the relic that keeps them immortal. As long as you take the relic away, those guys outside will be dead."

"What are you waiting for? Let's go." Charles was about to move forward, but he didn't expect that a sailor with a broken arm was walking in front of him with big strides.

"Oh, your crew members are so loyal. I'm so envious." Anna smiled and pulled Charles to follow.

Charles looked at the faint smile on her face, frowned slightly and said nothing.

Anna glanced back at him, then came closer and held his arm. "Come on, come on, it's quite fun to hang out with you."

Walking to the end of the dim corridor, Charles opened the password door. Behind the door was a black stone ball entangled with blood vessels of various sizes.

"Yes, this is it. It is this thing that keeps those guys resurrected."

Charles raised his foot and tried to walk over, but was stopped by Anna. "Don't get within ten meters of it, or you will become immortal."

"Eternal life?" Charles was stunned.

"Haha, you want to try? Sometimes you can't just take the literal meaning. Immortality may not be a good thing. Maybe it means eternal pain."

Anna said as she snatched the flesh revolver from Charles' hand and started firing rapidly at the black stone in the distance.

The bullets kept hitting the stone, causing it to shake continuously and the blood vessels wrapped around it were constantly pulled and broken.

Finally, with a bang, the stone was hit and fell to the ground, and the broken blood vessels began to shrink and turn black.

Anna threw the revolver back to Charles. "Okay, now those guys outside should have already—"

But before Anna could finish her words, the gentle female voice that seemed to be urging her to die sounded again.

"Out of control level three, release the remains of item 130, start the blasting of the ascending channel, site 4 is permanently closed, thank all members of the site for their dedication, everything is for humanity, goodbye."

"Fuck!" Anna and Charles cursed in unison.

The Foundation has considered everything. Once someone completely eliminates the task force, the entire site will be immediately closed and begin self-destruction!

Just one second later, the ground began to shake violently. It was obvious that the passage from the earth's sea to the surface had collapsed due to the explosion.

"Go!! Get out of here quickly!! This place is going to collapse!" Charles and the crew quickly returned.

"Anna, what is Project 130? What special abilities does it have?" Charles asked while running.

Anna's expression became serious at this moment, not at all like the indifferent look she had just now.

"I don't know. Alice doesn't have this thing in her head. But since it's used to destroy this damn place, it can't be a good thing."

Facing the violent shaking, they ran quickly in the corridor.

They also encountered some members of the task force who had already broken in. Now they were shriveled and thin, and looked completely dead.

The movement of the stone ball killed them all.

“Captain!! Look behind you!” Second mate Charlie’s voice was filled with fear.

Charles turned his head and saw something yellowish-brown, similar to soil, swallowing up everything in the corridor behind him.

Whether it was the swaying ceiling lights or the horrifying corpses of the task force members, once they were stained with that yellow-brown color, they would instantly become motionless.

The yellow-brown color was assimilating towards them at an astonishing speed.
