Shrouded Seascape

Chapter 85: Position of the bandage

Views:

The thunder swept over quickly, and in the muddy water with white smoke, twitching human bodies slowly floated up.

Charles, who was also numbed by the electric shock, put the short stick back into his clothes tremblingly, but at this moment, he saw an upward arrow and an exclamation mark appear on the wall in front of him.

Charles instantly felt a murderous intent coming from above his head. He tried his best to move to the left, but his numb body was out of control.

Listening to the rapid breathing sounds coming from close below, the scarred man raised the corners of his mouth slightly. He had just induced this guy to keep talking in order to determine his exact location.

He knew that this guy was the new leader of the gang. If he was killed, they would be disbanded. Then, all the women and food in the team would be his.

Just when the scarred man felt his nails piercing into his flesh, he suddenly felt three huge tentacles instantly wrap around him and pull him away, and Charles' ring activated.

"Damn it! What the hell is this!"

The scarred man swung his nails and slashed at the short tentacles, but a second had already passed. A second can do a lot of things. For example, Dipper had already rushed in front of the scarred man with a dagger raised.

The two men quickly engaged in battle, but the scarred man, who had lost the initiative, was obviously no match for the larger crew members.

With a flash of cold light, his two forearms were instantly cut off and the scarred man screamed and fell into the muddy water below.

Dipper, wearing a mask, was about to rush down and chop off his head, but was stopped by Charles.

"Wait, don't kill him, he still can be useful to us."

Seeing the boss being captured, Blake under the water turned around in horror and swam away. He didn't expect these guys to be so powerful. This time he hit a hard rock.

But when he was halfway through swimming, he suddenly felt something furry crawling onto his body. He panicked and tried to float to the surface, but severe pain instantly spread throughout his body. Lily's rats bit Black's flesh with greater force than ever before.

Charles, whose body had recovered, led the scarred man out of the water.

Even though his hands were cut off, the scarred man showed no sign of giving in. There was a sneer on his face, and he looked down at Charles in front of him with his white pupils.

"The relic is good. With the relic, you can barely reach the third level, but that's it. If you meet me in my prime, you'll be dead!"

Charles was too lazy to talk nonsense with him. He took the rope next to him, tied him up tightly, and turned to walk towards the wall.

If it weren't for the hint that suddenly appeared on the wall just now, he might have succeeded.

Just as Charles walked to the wall, a human-shaped graffiti wrapped in bandages appeared on the wall.

Even though it was very sloppy, Charles could tell at a glance that it was his first mate's bandage.

It turned out that his first mate was trapped in the wall. No wonder he couldn't be found.

Charles pulled the scarred man over and pointed at the graffiti on the wall and said, "You've been here for so long, you should know this place well. My crew is trapped in the wall. Is there any way to get him out?"

The scarred man sneered, showing no intention of speaking.

Charles' eyes were cold and frosty, and the black blade in his hand directly pierced into his right hand. "Speak quickly!!"

The scarred man kept cursing while screaming. "Trash! Kill me if you can!"

At this moment, the bandage on the wall shook its head, and a line of words appeared beside it. "Go quickly, there are monsters on the left."

Charles was confused by the line of garbled code, but he quickly realized that the bandage was giving him a warning.

Everyone followed Charles and ran quickly. Bandages appeared and disappeared on the wall beside them, pointing the way for them.

The roads in the maze were layered, but the bandages seemed to know the path and took them running quickly.

After running for about five minutes, the scarred man, who was not afraid of death, showed a terrified expression on his face, "What are you doing? Stop now! You can't go there!"

Charles glanced at the bandages on the wall and quickened his pace. Compared to the man who was ready to kill him, he trusted his first mate more.

Just after running around a big bend, a shrill scream suddenly came from a distance, heart-wrenching and as if piercing everyone's heart. The sound instantly froze everyone in place.

"What's ahead?" Charles carved on the wall.

"Exit." The simple answer appeared on the wall.

"Impossible!! That's not the exit, you can't believe his lies! That's the torture area! If humans are caught, they will suffer a fate worse than death!!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he struggled to run backwards. Charles raised his revolver and aimed at the back of his head, "Stop! Otherwise, don't blame me for shooting!"

However, the scarred man ran wildly, but his head tilted and hit the wall hard. In an instant, the yellow wall turned red and white. He would rather die than go to that place.

Looking at the crew members who were silently watching him, Charles, with a frown on his face, was in a dilemma. There must be danger ahead, but the bandage said that there was an exit over there. If he made a wrong choice, everyone's lives would be ruined.

Charles paused for a second, then carved a line of words on the wall with a black blade. "Which arm did Anna eat before?"

"Right leg."

When Charles saw the words appearing on the wall, he immediately understood that the person on the wall was indeed his first mate.

"Then can you tell me how you know there's an exit ahead?" Charles carved on the wall.

"Time is running out!!!"

Looking at the three exclamation marks, Charles became more and more confused. "What do you mean no time?"

"The island is sinking. If you don't get out now, you'll never be able to get out again!"

When Charles saw the line of words appear on the wall, his head buzzed. He slowly raised his head and looked at the borderless wall above him. For a moment, he seemed to understand something.

It wasn't the bandages that were trapped in the wall;

The searchlight on the Narwhal shone directly into the water, clearly illuminating the underwater maze and the graffiti on the walls of the maze, including the appearance of a dozen people including Charles.

Chef Frey watched anxiously as Bandage swam up and down, diving now and then.

"First mate! The captain hasn't come out yet? I just measured it, and the island is sinking faster and faster!"

Bandage shook his head, took a deep breath, and dived into the maze below again.

Looking at the graffiti of his companions on the wall, he took action again, holding his breath, and the bandage swung his legs to quickly keep up.
